We were in Melb for the weekend, and after a planned visit to IKEA popped into Domayne as we saw they had a Tempur sale on. We thought we might get a pillow for my husband as he’d had one in Sweden and loved it. As we were trying out the beds and pillows in the Tempur section we were approached by Zarin. She helped my husband find and purchase the pillow he was after. Meanwhile my 9 yo son and I were trying out all the Tempur mattresses, and when Zarin returned she impressed us all by demonstrating the Tempur Ease bed base. Well it turns out a mechanised bed base and super comfy Tempur mattress is pretty fun no matter what age you are - and Zarin started to chat to us about where we were from (Ballarat) and our current bedroom set up at home. She highlighted the versatility of the Ease / Tempur set ups (single mattress / split mattress etc) and the current sale discount (more than half price) . We’d been considering upgrading to a King anyway, so we did not need much convincing to make a purchase. Zarin sealed the deal by offering us free delivery plus a couple of Tempur pillows which we took home with us that day. Zarin was an excellent salesperson - she knew her product, made the effort to understand our needs (including any blockers to us making a purchase - such as how to get it home to us in country Victoria) and at no time did we feel any pressure or obligation to buy. This was on a Sunday morning and our delivery arrived a day earlier than expected on Wednesday evening. As someone who has spent many years training others in customer service, it was a delight to be served by someone as professional as Zarin! Keep up the great work - you’ll be National Sales Manager in no time at all! PS We’re loving our new bed!

Very bad experience for buying a dining table. Purchased the Elvie dining table. The table had so many problems, unfortunately, they are all denied by Domayne . Their customer service was arrogant and inefficient. They would blame all their delay on Covid-19. When contact Domayne, I waited 4 weeks to get the table being inspected and then a so-called report. During this period, if you didn't chase Domayne again and again, they would never contact you. Finally, their report denied everything and only admitted a crack on the table. They need you to pay hundreds of dollars of delivery fees again to send the table back. The funny thing is I waited 4 weeks to get their feedback. However, when they have a decision, I only have 24 hours to tell them, otherwise, they would close the service. Then, I need to contact Australian Competition & Consumer Commission by myself to solve it further. As an ordinary consumer, I really don't have time and am not professional to argue with them. So I have to pay hundreds of dollars by myself to return this table. I am hereby to list all of the problems and everyone who reads my comment can have their judgment whether these problems are real problems. And please note, all of them except a crack are normal and acceptable as per Domayne. 1.the stain color doesn't match the sample color (I chose the sample stain option). The sample one looks yellow but the one I received is pink 2. timber cracks on the edge of the table 3. a very deep hole under the table 4. timber is damaged at the bottom of the table 5.the beam under the table is short however the other side is close to the edge 6. the leg hasn't been trimmed 7. very poor quality around the nail holes 8. the table looks rough without waxed

WORST company I have ever dealt with Domayne sold me an outdoor table set. There were numerous manufacturing defects that I noted immediately upon receipt of the set. The table and benches had several defects. The benches often making a loud cracking sound when more than one person sits on it. They kept telling me that the "irregularities" in the table and benches were normal. We recently moved and took off the tabletop to find 22 redback spiders living inside the hollow base (as well as many other species with which we were unfamiliar). They can easily crawl out of the base to the underneath of the table from the hollow base (at the top or at the bottom as both have gaps) while we are sitting there enjoying a meal and we have five little girls ages 3, 4, 7, 12 and 14. The base is literally a haven for poisonous spiders. After several email conversations with the franchise owner, she is unwilling to assist. We kindly requested a pickup and refund of the set due to safety hazard and the unreasonable danger to our children and they have repeatedly refused. They say the table couldn't possibly be a haven for spiders, but they missed the fact that the gap between the hollow base and the top is big enough to fit an entire pencil. They won't respond to any of my correspondence regarding the issue. We spent $3100 on this table set and now we basically have to throw it away. I have never had such a poor experience with any company. They have no conscience or ethics.

Purchased a complete bed set with some minor customisation which was met with "I can do that for you" and "it's going to look just like that" at every stage. When bed was delivered about a month later it was clear some customisation was not followed through. Follow up call to the same sales rep was clear even he didn't remember the sale least not the customisation and could only stone wall me with "it's what's written on the receipt". That's the response I'd expect at my local fast food joint. Be warned, the premium price might not include premium service, even though they're more than happy to present it during sales. It certainly hasn't for me this time. The issue has gone back to the manager for the 2nd time with the expectation that I'll need to "meet half way" to get the missed customisation redone. Update - I have been contacted by the Franchisee who has been much more understanding and helpful. He has been able to come up with a resolution we are happy to proceed with.

Very unpleasant experience at this store. i was looking at the mattress and there is a middle aged sales man in the bedding/mattress department who is be very rude to me and my partner. It made us felt uncomfortable. I was just asking the price of the mattress and i need sometime to think about it. He kept on staring at us during the whole process and kept on pushing us to buy it. He continued to stand there and stare at us with unprofessional body language and repeated his comment "I had given you a good deal and there is nothing for you to think about it. He gave us a degrading look during the whole process. I’m not one to post reviews usually but this was way absolutely disgusting. I went upstair to another store, the salesperson was very professional and made us feel comfortable. and the most important thing was they gave us a better deal than this middle age guy. I wont recommended this store to anyone.

We purchased a Tempur mattress last Sunday with the help from Tracy which we are really satisfied with. She was very patient, helpful and smiley all the way. However, in the morning same day when we went there, the man who served us (who seemed to be a manager) was rude. After a few questions, he started to show annoyance and at one point he said "oh my god". I'm not sure why a sales person can be so impatient, how can we not have questions with at least 30 mattresses in front of us, he really should change a job! We went away because of him despite we were quite determined to get a mattress. Then we returned in the same afternoon thinking that we will not talk to him about what we want to purchase, which we did. If you see this message, I hope you rethink about your attitude, and the five star is for Tracy. Thanks

We are going through the store and we came across the bed section, the staff member Gaz approached us telling how to try the bed ( not in a good approach) and started to pointing out the cheaper beds and mattresses. He started to discriminate us by telling this is all the top brand and the cheaper ones are on other side. It is ok to tell once but not repeatedly the same thing. I wish you have more manners Gaz and I believe everyone wants to try before buying and you have the stock for that reason. If you don’t want people to try the product please don’t allow them into the store. So discriminating and ruining our day and this is the first time we been to the store and not going again and lots of racism. Not even one rating is acceptable to ur staff like him.

Had a middle aged sales man in the bedding/mattress department be very rude to my partner and me. It felt like discrimination as my partner and myself are young adults and people of colour. Immediately I could feel him staring at us (there were other customers also around) and he asked if we needed help, which we responded with no thank you we are just browsing. He continued to stand there and stare at us with unprofessional body language and repeated his question again while making a comment along the lines of ‘it’s pointless looking if you don’t know anything’ and gave us a degrading look. I purchased a Luxurious Sleepmaker Bedding package from the Domayne store in Springvale VIC on 31/1/2023. Sales person (Lee W) was fabulous to deal with, extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant, no pushy sales tactics, just gave all the right information on specifications and features for me to make an informed decision on which bed was the perfect fit after trying out several of them. Price was also unbeatable as l shopped at 2 other Major Bedding retailers that sold the similar item before l purchased it from Domayne in Springvale. Highly recommend, exceptional overall customer experience and will definitely purchase from Domayne again.

My daughter and I and her carer were looking for a special bed. We found it with the great help from Lee. His knowledge and expertise was reassuring as we knew very little about the different mattresses etc. He explained what would suit my daughter and after trying quite a few, she came back to the tempur mattress and base which can be adjusted up or down to your desired position. My double mattress, which I've only used for 3 years and valued at over $900, has already sagged. The manufacturer is filled with various hurdles, and I'm extremely disappointed. But luckily I’ve been contacted by a Domayne assistant named Ann. B., she quickly looked into this issue for me. The process is now underway, and I'm looking forward to a resolution.

Tilak always gives very good and suitable advice to customers. The whole team is generally approachable and helpful. Delivery time sometimes can be long. It's best if what you like is in stock. If not, you should be prepared to wait a month or so because of the supplying issue.
