Continuing on the tour of nice breakky places, I tried Doveton Bakery this morning. Specifically a coffee and a bacon/egg/bbq sauce roll - breakfast of champions. The coffee was really nice, however the quick summary is the bacon egg roll wasn't the best. The bread was delicious (expected as they are a bakery!), and I was in an out in under a minute, however they gave me one that had already been cooked and kept warm in the window, so it was missing that lovely "bakery fresh" factor, and there was no runny egg, and it cost $9.50 all up. Whilst it's still above par, there are other places that are much better doing this specific breakky choice. As for the other items in the bakery, this place does the best french vanilla slices I've ever tasted - so to satisfy your sweet tooth side of things, it's a big thumbs up from me!

Food is consistently good, bakery is usually quite busy. Has been my go to for the past few months. Have been overcharged several times recently - and then got laughed at by the lady for asking for her to remove tomato from my salad roll. Considering you charge for extras, and still charge if those extras are removed/not asked for, the least you can do is remove them without insulting me. Also got asked to pay for a plastic bag after my transaction was completed - I'd spent around $30 and she still wanted to charge me .10c on eftpos for a bag afterwards. She told me "next time" and I have not been back.

I’d give no stars if I could..had a sausage roll which was absolutely tasteless and just seems like it’s made up of cheap nasty meat and the rolls had the ends of the tomatoes and only two little slices in the whole roll and the thick bits of the lettuce in it wth how are they still running I don’t get it and the chubby Asian lady needs to smile or find another job so rude I’ve heard she’s the owner she needs to stay Hm ‍♂️‍♂️

Coffee is great and so is most hot food but every single time I've had a pastry roll it's been disappointing. The vomit after taste is a standard,the pastries are not fresh that's definite.i also suspect the cleanliness of the work place also.sorry for the negativity but all the Times I went back to grab a pastry thinking it was me you guys proved to be the ones at fault.

Cheap ingredients! Sausage rolls were bigger and had flavour years back now they're thinner and tasteless with the same owners. Pretty hard to believe!! The ham & salad rolls have the end of the tomatoe in them. Why do you need to be that cheap to do something like that!

Love their baked cheese cake ,but they have a wide range of products ,plus the cafe side , when ever I go to Doveton I always make it a habit of calling in ,Des

Early start on site grabbed a pizza pie, tasty as he'll, fresh ofc opens early like most bakery's, grabbed mine at 6:30am very nice coffee aswell.

Always good and quick service. Sometimes manner is alittle low with boss. But generally good
