"This is a fantastic little bakery with amazing uraguan caramel (Dulce de Leche) and custard based biscuits and cakes and empanadas, plus the usual bakery fare"
"Fantastic bakery and very friendly atmosphere! The service is flawless"
"Hi Guys, Purchased a few treats today but with the 10% Saturday surcharge plus a credit card surcharge I nearly died at the price! It seems your prices have increased a lot"
Overall: 4/5 Lovely staff welcome you as you are drawn into this minute store from its warm cozy smell. This bakehouse offers a variety of Argentinian savoury goods and sweets that are freshly baked. Almond croissant (5/5): Pastry of the almond croissant was flakey, with a nice crunchy texture coming from the almonds. As you bite into the beautiful masterpiece, a semi-sweet semi-oozing custard coats your tongue and creates the most delightful feeling. Different from a regular almond croissant which contains frangipane, this one is filled with a nice soft custard that is perfectly sweet since the icing sugar gives it already a mellow sweet taste to the almond. Beef empanadas (4/5): first time eating something like this and it was very interesting! Beef mince inside was juicy and flavourful, with a nice kick of olive. I hate olive with a passion but this was a needed addition to the pastry. With their savoury pastries, I recommend toasting them if you do not eat them straight away to enjoy it. This is a fantastic little bakery with amazing uraguan caramel (Dulce de Leche) and custard based biscuits and cakes and empanadas, plus the usual bakery fare. Well worth trying their food if you are in the area, I have never seen any cakes like this in Melbourne. The Birthday cake they did for me had layers of caramel, walnuts, custard and biscuit and then coated in meringue! Amazing and very good price for the size of it $50 and serves 20 people as you would only do thin slices because it a so rich.
Fantastic bakery and very friendly atmosphere! The service is flawless. No need to rush to order and staff is very friendly. We got some beautiful soft and crunchy bread, to be specific, marraquetas, as well as some other latin american types of bread, delicious all of them. Also got some beef empanadas and alfajores, they were spot on, amazing! We need to come back to taste more... the variety of pastries is vast and also heard they have some cheese empanadas. Next time for sure.
Hi Guys, Purchased a few treats today but with the 10% Saturday surcharge plus a credit card surcharge I nearly died at the price! It seems your prices have increased a lot. We all know inflation right but this seems way over. You used to be pretty reasonable with the prices but they are just way too high now. Local bakeries would be cheaper. Also display your prices! We won’t be back.

De-licious!! Everything I tried was fresh, perfectly balanced in flavour, yummy and desserts were dangerously subtly sweet - meaning it would be too easy for me to go wild and have many more. Tried the empanadas: beef and cheese, coffee & chocolate sponge cake, vanilla slice, custard and dulce donuts. Yum, yum, yum! I'll have to come back to try them all!!
Yummy, yummy place! You really can’t go wrong with anything they have, it’s all delicious and fresh. The medialunas were fresh out of the oven and still warm. Everyone working there was really friendly and knowledgeable about the products. It’s a cute shop with lots of light and some seating out front. Would recommend and will definitely visit again!
Please keep this a secret. I have been going to Dulce since it started up. The best bread rolls and cakes for miles around. I would walk past with my dog on a Sunday morning and buy a few rolls for breakfast and an maybe some cakes for the afternoon. Now the queue has grown and believe me it is worth the wait. Thank you Dulce.
We ordered a Strawberry sponge cake plus cocktail empanadas for our daughter’s birthday and it was beyond delicious! We had many people comment on how delicious the cake was, and how fresh everything tasted. Price, service and final product, I couldn’t fault. We are looking forward to ordering more items next event.
Easy bakery to find with lots of parking. Line on a weekday around 11am, so I suspect it would be busy on a weekend. Beautiful sweets and “pies” (not an Australian pie) which were well presented and delicious. My comments are labels, please! Both for price but also for what each sweet is and what is contains.
By far best south American bakery in Melbourne and one of the best all round. Love specially the mil hojas cake, the empanadas and the south American bread. But most of all the argentinean croissant with dulce de leche (caramel), custard or membrillo (queens jam) They have good coffee too and yerba mate.
Had my first visit there on Thursday. Display fridge still had a wide selection of Sweets available and was able to get some fresh meat empanadas. Delicious cakes, pastry and addictive empanadas. Can't wait to try more of their menu selection
Fabulously fresh homemade celebration cakes at super competitive prices and friendly staff.

Everything from this place is top notch!! Be it bread, savoury or desserts. Love their mini tarts and tres leches cake. They should put labels and mention prices for each item in the display.
The absolute best tasting South American cakes and biscuits outside of South America. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Can't recommend high enough. I give it 10 stars out of 5.
I've just eaten the best almond croissant I've ever had in my life. And I'm 60 years old.
