I never write reviews but l had no choice under these circumstances. As a local l initially mentioned my concern to staff first and expected at least a phone reply. No apology. No phone call. Nothing. Basically l bought a pie last week and for the second time now got seriously ill/food poisoning. I had to go to local doctor i was so unwell. The owners/staff need to be aware this is serious. Not to be taken lightly. I want to support my local shops but sadly never again at this place. Really need to get their act together .

Edited: 15/06/22 - Food is fantastic, coffee is passable, the issues are; long wait times and a "Lord of the Flies" style queuing system that has left me on the short end of the stick multiple times. Highly suggest a ticket system as the staff seem incapable of keeping on top of a queue of 3 people. In addition to this the charging for sauce at an already highly priced (good value for the most part) bakery makes a mockery of everything that it means to be Australian.

Yesterday’s bread sold at full cost. This is a bit of a ho-hum bakery, yes it convenient but the quality of their products is only just passable. Pies are good. They are happy to pass off stale cakes and breads. The service varies greatly based upon who serve you, there are a couple of grumps who make it feel like you're inconveniencing them by ordering something. Coffee is poor.

I can’t believe the other review was unsure as to why this bakery has several negative reviews the food is discusting the cakes are that old and stale if you threw one of there cakes at somebody you would most likely knock them out those cakes have been sitting there for ages the food is discusting just like the staffs attitude especially the owners grand daughter she needs help

Purchased- Jam /Cream Lemington, Meat Pie, Nutella Donut and Fruit Flan. Everything looked nice however didn't taste the same as it looked. Pie - cold . Donut - tasted stale, dry, has been refried , not fresh. Lemington - stale , dry, was hard like a cardboard - not fresh . Just to let you know customers can taste the difference between fresh and stale food! Disappointed!!

This place becoming my morning coffee local! Good coffee with many milk choices (which you normally don’t get at a bakery). Vegemite scrolls are delicious and reasonably priced, LOVE the egg and lettuce sandwich on multigrain. The hedgehog slice is amazing. Excited to try some more options! Just wish they had a loyalty program as many places have for coffee :)

Great food and great staff, Really Enjoyed Bringing my Boys here and they really enjoy the fresh produce they create. As a dad of 3 I don't usually get time to create meals so having a bakery and cafe nearby is a great help! Would recommend This to anyone who loves to create a zesty experience for their taste buds!!!

Bought a chocolate log roll. Inedible. No idea how they could make it so.... yuck. One of the worst things I have eaten. Bought it for my nieces. How you can get cakes rejected by children is really something. They screwed up their faces and threw it in the bin. Spinakopita was good. Vegie pastie OK. Bit oily.

Terrible value for money. $26 dollars for two salad rolls. Cheese doesn’t cover the bread. Asked for enough to cover the bread. Got charged more. Understand cost of living going up but the quality is going the other way. Disappointing and staff clearly inexperienced.

Great service & super friendly staff. Our go to place for great coffee & more. Our sons birthday cake was fantastic along with all their tasty sweet & savoury delicious selection. The new owners have definitely made a huge difference!

The food is nice but the staff are often rude and the service is abysmal. You're better off spending your money next door at Mr Tuppy where the staff are lovely, the coffee is better and the food is just as good.

Catered for my daughters 1st birthday and everything was perfect! All freshly baked and prepared the day of, there were no leftovers! We also attend weekly for their almond croissants, which are these best!

Vish was so helpful. I called the day before and ordered a cake for my friend the day before which was delicious. We regularly get bread from here the coffee is delicious and the staff always so happy

Young girl who served us wasnt very friendly. Knew we were sharing a chicken sandwich, yet didnt cut it in half. We said thank you and goodbye and received no response. Wont return.

Lovely people, lovely food and reasonably priced. Just spent a week in Elwood from Queensland and frequented this bakery every day. From day one they make you feel like a local.

Great bakery, good attention, fresh products.The bread is very good. When you step in, the smell in the place gonna make that you wanna buy absolutely everything.

Do not get the “gourmet” pies. Lamb and rosemary pie was almost all sauce with only 3 pieces of meat. Shepherds pie was a think mince gravy but ok potato on top.

Shnitzel Sandwiches tasty, yet overpriced. The woman serving us was not particularly nice to other staff members both times I went. Not Behd good soize.

Put off ever going back just by the Service received by the owners Granddaughter she came across rude and disrespectful many times I refuse to go back.

Some really questionable reviews here… I’ve tried pies, sausage rolls, bread and donuts here. All lower standard than 7-eleven or coles. Go elsewhere.
