Literally the worst company to shop with. I called the castle hill store to speak with someone about sofas that were available right away as we desperately needed one. After going through and deciding on one, I placed an order on Thursday and was guaranteed that the sofa would arrive on Sunday. On Friday afternoon I got a text saying that I could choose either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to have my sofa delivered. Called up customer service and it was a waste of time. Called the castle hill store and spoke to a gentleman about moving the delivery to Monday as he said that they do not deliver on Sunday even though the website clearly states this. He guaranteed that I will receive a text with a three hour window in the day. Called up on Monday since no text was received as was told that my order was being delivered on Tuesday even though I have not confirmed this. Received conflicting messages from multiple staff members both in store and also in the customer service department. They did not honour the delivery times advertised on their website. . I had instructed them that I would not place an order unless I would be guaranteed that my purchase will be Delivered in the time frame advertised. Spoke to another lady and was told that they indeed deliver on Sunday. . Completely wasted my damn time with a bunch of people who honestly lacks training. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP HERE
6 staff members standing around tills ignoring everyone in the store. We already knew what we wanted and eventually went to ask one of them to come help. They didn't leave the group and take 10 steps to look at what we wanted, instead had us describe it to him for a couple of minutes while he went through their website which I could've done at home. He then said it was at the warehouse and asked if we had been there before. When we said no he didn't respond with where it was, as a matter of fact he literally didn't say another word throughout the interaction from that point on. Why bother even asking? Absolute rubbish for service and management should be held accountable for letting their service get that bad. The staff in store are so absent I reckon I could just take a whole lounge as long as I didn't interrupt their chat circle. Lads at the warehouse are maddogs though
I have never had such a bad experience with any item ever ordered. This was my first time ordering through Fantastic and it will certainly be my last. I tried to change the date of delivery and that never happened. Then they delivered my lounge but only half of it with no explanation. After numerous phone calls (and never once getting a reply on the phone) and emails, I finally found a person who wanted to help me. Apparently the order was closed off and they didn’t even know I didn’t get my full delivery. Then I had to wait until they got confirmation of the non delivery from the delivery driver. On the actual day of delivery- 2 weeks after my first lounge delivered - my window was 1.30 to 4.40 - the delivery wasn’t here until after 5.30pm. This just tops off the below average service of Fantastic!!!
This review is about Tailor 3 Shelf 4 Drawer Storage Unit. I bought it from castle hill store. This product has a manufacturing issue where all the screws from 4 drawers are not getting tightened and always loose. I called up the store and store is not accepting it as manufacturing issue and blaming it to me saying that I have damaged it. I am seeking a refund and store is not ready to accept it as a manufacturing issue (total 18 screws are loose) Also when I opened the box, there were no numbering on many parts which made it difficult to follow the instructions for assembling. So my experience with this product is NOT fantastic and it seems reviews about this product on Fantastic's website are paid reviews.
AVOID THIS PLACE! Low quality furniture with some of the worst customer service / treatment I’ve ever experienced with practically 0 compensation. Ordered a couch from here that took 2-3 months longer than the expected delivery to arrive. Called several times and was always told the same story of how it’s with the warehouse to deliver and they don’t know why there’s a delay but they’d reach out to the warehouse and let me know (but they never did). Eventually, couch came but was ripped and not stitched up properly in certain areas and missing a leg. I had to drop by the warehouse to pickup the parts as well. All I got as compensation was ONE $50 discount card that can ONLY be used in-store.
Poor experience today. The male sales rep was not receptive and was rolling his eyes and responding with attitude when my mum asked him questions. Extremely rude and unprofessional, leaving us walking out quite upset with the experience. I ended up placing the click and collect order online instead, where it was ready for pickup with 5 minutes and was in correspondence with Sandra, who was extremely kind and reassuring. The warehouse boys were also quite nice and making sure everything was secure in the car. Glad the negative experience turned well, but that’s the last time I’ll be visiting that showroom.
Worse customer service. I ordered my items on Sunday and they didn't have one item in store so I want to cancel my order and buy we items from another shop . One of their staff, Sean ,told me they would delivery on Thursday or Friday . Sean said he would change my phone number as well .I called them today to confirm my delivery because nobody called me back as they promised. This morning I called for an update and I was told I would have to wait 48hours for delivery information. This is poor customer service and not what I was originally told.
Almost every thing on display on showroom isn't readily available to deliver.furniture quality is extremely poor for the price they charge.never buy a package deal.I purchased a package deal from them as I recently moved to sydney.initially they asked me 6 weeks + for lounge but when I opted not to wait 6 weeks rather buy one on discounted offer...They wanted me to pay the double...I declined.. but the very next day some other sales person offered me the same at sale rate ..However he 9ver invoiced the bill for more than 55 dollars
The most unprofessional and rude customer service I have ever received. Ordered my furniture and paid in store. Arranged a delivery with my new address, however they took my delivery to my old address. Called the store to get assistance to reschedule and was hang up on, as the guy did not want to help. Today spoke to Danien, was giving me phone numbers to ring, that was an auto msg, no answer. Very unprofessional over the phone and sarcasm towards my language. I still don't know how to arrange a delivery. No one wants to help
Products are good but not happy with customer service, specially at Castle hill store. I have ordered bed and mattress online from Castle hill store. Now I have received the bed on time but there is no information about the mattress. When I called Castle hill store they said we are not responsible of the delivery you have to call Fantastic Furniture customer care. And wait time there is more than an hour. In such situation I believe store should at least take the responsibility and check with delivery team and let us know.
My experience with this store was very poor, particularly in relation to their staff, namely Jason, who appears to have zero customer service skills!! He spoke to me, and others, so rudely and despite one of the issues being a labelling issue on their part, spoke to me in such a way i felt compelled to complete this review. Not a great experience and would highly recommend going to a different store or avoiding Jason if you must use the Castle Hill store.
Warehouse team deserve big ZERO..what a fantastic worker they hire. Went to pick up to something on Sunday evening (18.10.2020) around 4:40 pm both of those attendant were staring at each other and one playing on the phone trying to look busy instead of picking up the invoice while we stand at the gate in bust of storm. Feel sorry for their hiring managers skills who cant find a real workers while so many are unemployed all around us.
Worst store and customer experience. Jason in the store in particular is extremely rudee and has 0% careness when serving customers. First he gave us so much wrong information and next he acted like we were teaching him his job by asking simple questions as he got annoyed and rolled his fricken eyes. Im neever coming back to this store. And the store needs to hire more staff and it is ALWAYS LOW STAFFED ALL YEAR ROUND.
Pretty annoyed. Service in store was easy and fast, however picking up the mattress that we purchased we had to go to the warehouse. The person (who wouldn’t let me help) that put the mattress in the car (47kgs) decided it was a good idea to slide the mattress up onto the rear bumper and up into the car. Black car now has white scratches all over the bumper where he put the box, so cheers for that.
True to its name. Great designs, good quality and excellent value for money furniture. Easy to assemble and comes with all the necesary tools and fittings. My entire 3 bed house is well decorated by affordable yet good looking and quality furniture from fantastic furniture. All the guests visiting my unit are suprised when I tell them the price I got all the furniture.
Good service in store, but when I collected my cream floor rug I ordered yesterday, it wasn't completely wrapped. Unfortunately when I got it home I found it had 3 dirty marks on it. Should have checked it before I left the store. Probably thrown on a delivery truck with furniture and uncovered area of the rug.not protected. I guess you get what you pay for.
Very bad experience. Ordered a sofa, when it arrived the looks are very good but when I sit in the sofa the cushion just goes in there is no enough foam inside the cushion. I reached out to the customer support and there answer is to come to shop and sit in similar sofa and if its different from one at my home then they can take return.
Had an issue with our lounges in that the pleather started to come apart. However the store was really good and took it back and gave us a refund (minus delivery costs). Ben especailly was very helpful. Would have given 5 stars for the service, but I had to detract some for the faulty furniture.
Last time I went to fantastic furniture was 13 years ago and swore to never go again. But this time went in with a a mate. Boy was I surprised. They have come a long way. Highly recommended for a visit for anyone looking for new furniture. Nope not premium items, but good value for money.
Joke of a store. Made an order and they called to delivery a few days later, didn't show up. Wouldn't pick up their call. Store said they'd chase it up. Called the store a day later and they said look at the website. Absolute thieves. I hope you go out of business asap.
They never answer the phone or get back to you, been waiting a week to fine out why my bed head I ordered came puckered it looks horrible and had to pay $230 plus $75 extra delivery cause it takes 6 weeks to make! Don’t waste your money here!
Picked up two bedside tables off the shop floor. Got to the counter and was told they had just sold them to an online customer. There were about a dozen on the shelf and he told me they were all sold to online customers. Pathetic.....
Normally I don’t criticise anyone’s business, but they literally stealing money from customer without asking what customer actually want. Very poor customer service and even the delivery furniture was delivered outside the house.
Horrific customer service! Ordered a desk online, waited over 5 weeks before they told me it was discontinued and offered 0 assistance what so ever to help resolve the matter. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
A very bad experience with them. They do not adhere to the date of delivery of the goods, 40 days later than the original date. Also, their method of treatment is bad, and pay attention to your money from them.

Best place to shop for reasonably priced furniture for the entire house. Bedroom, sitting, dining and office room stuff, very well presented with friendly helpful staff.
I went couple of times in last few weeks, awesome customer service by Lucas and Sandra, you guys are amazing, will definitely be going back there again.
