Been there 3 times, so I can confidently say this is customer service at the lowest. First, I tried to send my e-payed package and asked for a print, but they refused it and called me "ignorant youngster" (like I didn't read the email), when the online page says clearly that you can ask for a print with a QR code (which I provided). Next time I printed the label and went back, then the owner said the post office is closed which wasn't true, he just "joked", but not in a funny way, his tone was like "get out of here". The last time I tried to post 2 e-payed packages again, but the assistant (his wife I guess) couldn't read the bar codes, and when my friend asked her to write down the numbers manually, she rolled her eyes and messed up the numbers on purpose. Same thing worked in a different post office, so this was totally her fault and incompetence. Very non-professional, disrespectful behaviour. If you don't have any other post office nearby I still recommend to choose another one, because they don't deserve customers at all. Boomer memes were made about these kind of people.

I would also give zero stars if I could. Consistently rude staff and have been turned away in the past by the male owner saying the post office section was closed when it wasn't, he's also often made inappropriate comments and complained about the fact I'm sending packages... at a post office. I now actively avoid using this branch wherever possible, which is annoying when it is in the perfect location for me otherwise. I also completely disagree with the review that states it's banter and we just don't understand his sense of humour. Being nasty and rude isn't banter. It's not the Yorkshire way. When are we going to stop saying "we'll they're alright with me" and "they're just misunderstood" to excuse the poor behaviour of others and make it seem like it's the ones raising the issue with the problem?

The owner is rude and talks to you in a condescending manner. I used my own stamps on a small parcel which annoyed him. I think he forgets he is providing a service for the public and paid by the Post Office for this service. As I was leaving I mumbled to myself I wont be using this post office again, he heard me and replied to me saying don't worry you are banned. For what I am unsure, but if he bans everyone that is unhappy with his service skills then he will have no customers left!

If I could give a minus score I would. Went in to collect a parcel within the hours stated and was told I couldn’t pick up my parcel on a Sunday even though it had been delivered. The guy was straight away rude and arrogant saying he would get it this time but in future we can’t but doesn’t state that anywhere. Was quite horrible and when told him he was just rude we said we won’t be coming back and he said ‘I’ll make sure of that’. Don’t even bother going here the owners a joke

Surprised at the negative reviews on here. Staff have always been welcoming and friendly here for me. Manage to fit a good range of products in without the store feeling too cluttered and have got things in we've been looking for in the past. Opening hours of the store and post office are far better than lots of other local ones. I think they have got the balance right here and it would be missed if it were to close - support your local businesses people.

i use this place most weeks (sometimes a few times per week) and have never once had an issue. the staff are friendly, polite, and efficient. they're great at suggesting alternative services if it works out better for me. and i've used them for a range of things - posting internationally, posting commercial parcels, paying money into my business account, etc. a lovely local Post Office - the low star rating isn't reflective at all.

Honestly if I could give minus 10 stars, even 100, I would. The so called “manager” is the rudest most ignorant man I’ve ever met. Talking in an aggressive way throughout refusing to help. I’ve send a formal complaint regarding this ”manager” and I hope he gets fired. Reviews speak for themselves and have sent these all over to the formal complaints department at the Royal Mail as well as verbal abuse to the police. Do NOT go

Really helpful and friendly staff. They respond to the chat feature on google and are really accomodating. I had previously tried to avoid getting parcels delivered here as it could be a hassle to pick up but the new staff seem eager to make it as easy as possible. :) They're usual post office times are on the side of the building for anyone who had been wondering like me.

Really poor experience, my partner took 2 parcels in to be sent back to different shops and they sent them both to the same place. When questioned they said it was correct, it wasn’t until I looked at the receipt I noticed they’d gone to the same place. Went back in and they argued with me and basically said there was nothing they could do. Won’t be using again!

The new team have a lovely way of working. I'm a huge fan of the chat function - I used it to ask what the latest time was that I could collect a parcel and they were so helpful and we're willing to try their best to make sure I could get it after work. I should say that they responded in good time and insisted on lifting my heavy parcel up the stairs for me.

Excellent service and very helpful staff. As the GOV. UK website suggests to get help from the post office, I went to two other branches including the main post office in Pudsey, but nobody helped me. I came here Farsley post office helped me to get my license renewal done in just 5 mins eventhough they were a lot busier than other locations. Thanks guys!

Went to this post office on the weekend and wish I hadn't bothered! The man working there is very arrogant, rude and self-obsessed, took me ten minutes to get a two minute job as he wouldn't stop talking about himself, the 'pointless' jobs he'd been doing for customers all day, insulting royal mail and then badmouthing two old ladies that walked in.

Only thing going for this place is the location, the owners have trouble grasping the concept they are a post office delivering a service. They huff and puff when you want to send a parcel or anything like your just wasting their time. The man serving is very rude. Wouldn't be surpised if they closed down attitude is disgusting.

I called in today to post a parcel via Vinted. The lovely new owner was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me. The level of customer service was amazing and he really made me day. I have lived in the village for over 30 years and the new owner is just what the Post Office needed- thank you!!

Extremely rude and seem annoyed that customers enter the store to use the post office services. Makes me very angry especially when so many people are losing their jobs due to no fault of their own. The owner should really be grateful to his customers as thanks to them he still has a buisness

Nice pleasant people always seem pleased to serve you. I’ve become quite friendly with the owner and I understand his banter. Thing is it’s a Yorkshire thing and some people don’t understand and think he is being rude, Nah he is not he has a big heart when you know him better

I use this post office to send off parcels for my work and come in almost every day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are so efficient and work really hard. The shop is also great and stocked full of essentials. Loads of great sweets for kids too.

Went in this morning to drop some parcels off, I was informed "we don't have space for all of these just now." When asked if some could be processed "I can't only have 1 till for customers right now" (Shop was empty.) Requires a change of management.

So much better service now that the new owners have taken over the post office. I normally avoid going into this post office (despite it being my local post office) but now I will use this post office more often. Polite and helpful staff members.

This post office has changed so much since the new owners took over…they are really friendly, helpful and have great customer service!! Having a small business and having to go there regularly it makes a huge difference!! They are fab!! :))))

My god the owner husband is very rude, like as if he hates customers entering his shop. Now I know all the bad reviews are about him. Needs to get a grip in reality by the looks of it he not very popular with the Farsley Community.

There is a new owner and new staff and they all seem very nice! they are happy and helpful and most importantly they don’t treat you like pond scum for the sheer audacity of using the post office to post parcels x

The British ladies are polite and friendly. The Asian guy is rude, blunt and snappy. Cutting me through conversation to ‘answer’ things he’d assume I’d ask but didn’t.
