a ghostly occurrence (perhaps i am invisible) : first time going in this store, but unfortunately i won't be going back. i was the only customer there, and when i walked in, i wanted to make sure it wasn't at capacity, so i stood by the entrance and noticed someone behind the counter and i said hi + waved. he didn't say anything so i walked in and browsed for a bit. seems like there was already a personal conversation between 2 of the employees (both whom didn't even bother acknowledging or greet), while another customer was chiming in. i was wrong - turns out, the other person i thought was a customer worked there (?), because he then suddenly asked if i needed any help.. which i replied no because i actually found it myself while they were all talking aloud about personal things. wanted to support local businesses but it's hard when you're a ghost ! great selection though

I live in roncesvalles so I stopped by this pet store. I said my dog eats a lot and her food is expensive. I asked the woman working here if I come consistently can you give me a deal on her food. The discount was maybe $10. I have purchased the food plenty of times yet today the manager for some reason had said to me: this was a one time thing, I am the manager and I will not allow this anymore. She got upset and even refused to give the 10 percent discount. She gave me lots of attitude and argued with me when I am simply trying to buy food for my dog. I can go to a million stores, and I don’t care to pay more. The fact that the store offered me a deal based on consistency then refused it is a joke. I was having a good day until this point.

Lovely place with a great selection and knowledgeable staff. I have one problem- the name! When I saw that a 'Kennel Cafe' was coming to roncesvalles I was *so* excited because I live locally and I'd absolutely love it if I had a place to grab a coffee in winter with my dog. I was super disappointed when I found out its just a store. I understand that Toronto food laws make it tricky to serve beverages in a dog friendly establishment, but there are places that have managed to pull it off (i.e: the store on Queen & Bathurst). To the owners: please consider providing a drinks selection and some seating (doesn't need to be too fancy!). It'd be great for sales and great for the Roncy dog owner's community :)

I love this place! All the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful - their incredible. The Manager is creative, resourceful, customer pleasing, - she's sweet & pleasant, she's simply said amazing. I go in some times because their so wonderful and the atmosphere is happy and fun. Tarragon (my cat) loves all the treats and toys he gets. Keep up the fantastic service you provide! Fun fact: The Kennel Cafes Anniversary is August 5th and Tarragon's Birthday is August 5th. It will be their twenty first celebration together. Great customer service, good selection of dog treats, food and toys. Wish they had more options for grain-inclusive foods (tons of grain free though!). Love to support a local business over some of the bigger box stores. Edited to add: When I came in looking for something grain friendly to switch for my pup I was only shown two brands with a grain friendly option, that may have been incorrect or updated since I went looking to switch

Staff was extremely helpful and responsive with my concerns with our dog's new diet change because of severe IBD. She had gastric ulcers and had been hospitalized with severe acute onset HGE (hemorrhagic gastroenteritis), and they were able to provide me with several options and were very knowledgeable about the products, companies, and ingredients. Kind, courteous staff, great range of quality Canadian product lines, decent prices.

Wasting my time ,no willing to show product when I asked about raw dog food ,zero customer service.Thwy deserve 0 Even if you have full store of customers the ignorance is not proper way how to deal with customers. There were only few people in store with me.If u will ask me to wait for few minutes and than you are able help me is much better way than your response I don't have time I'm busy .Poor customer service.

Not so friendly staff, who could care less if you’re there or not. The only thing that was said to me was, “do you want your receipt” while they have personal conversations behind the counter. They ignore the customers and don’t even say hi, even when you’re ready to pay. So rude. Also, almost all the products (especially the dog treats and toys) are way over priced. Exact same products cost less at other pet stores.

The staff are exceptional - they have special ordered in many products for me (and my two dogs who have food allergies) and all their recommendations and suggestions have been invaluable. I trust their judgements 100% and I exclusively buy here. The store is small but that's exactly what makes it so special and a weekly visit (at least) that I look forward to. Seek out Amanda and Tiffany.

Ive been to this store a few times over the past few wks. Following today, my experience, absolute professional knowledge and the overall kindness regarding my cat and sincere interest in helping to answer my questions. Fantastic service. Prices are great. Love supporting local stores who bring in local foods. Esther (owner) cares so much about the well being of the dogs and cats she's helping. Very knowledgeable about all of her products. And such a diverse selection of incredible, local food options. Highly recommended.

I like this place the woman I dealt with today was eager to help me with my dog's needs and she gave me 10% off the dogs jacket which I thought was very nice they have a lot of good products here for the street we don't have any pet stores accept for the kennel Cafe they are very competitive

Been shopping here for years. They always have the cat food (FROMM) and litter in stock. They even have a frequent buyer program on the food which is great. Who doesn't like free food after buying so many bags? Staff is always friendly and will answer any questions you have.

Great little pet shop! Have a hard time finding a particular brand of dog food and these guys keep it in regular rotation. They also offered to have a bag ordered every few weeks to ensure I can get it. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Disinterested staff in-store. Have been there 3 times, have never been greeted nor offered assistance. Prices higher than other stores. No receipt offered. Never seem to answer the phone either. Won't be returning for a 4th time.

Lovely pet store in the neighbourhood! There's a great selection of toys and healthy food and treats. They even carry a variety of raw food brands for those looking to try more than the just the typical big name ones.

Kennel Cafe is the best store that I have ever been to. The (manager) is very nice and so are the employees. They have very good quality pet food. Also there is another Kennel Cafe on Lakeshore I think.

Great selection of cat food for such a small store! The staff I've encountered have been super friendly and knowledgeable. The bag of litter I bought was actually $1 cheaper than at Pet Valu.

Excellent independent pet food store that carries some of the better harder to source brands like Origen and AlmoNature. Friendly staff and a (mostly) friendly resident cat. Go give her pets.

This is really good place. A lot of treats here. When i buy my dog food,I always come here to buy 엄청 다양한 종류의 사료 및 간식들 있어요~ 항상 여기서 겅아지 간식 사러 옵니다:) 갈때마다 강아지한테 간식도 주고 그래요!
