"I eat here regularly minimum of once a week , the sandwich rolls here are so delicious! The bread rolls are home made daily which just makes it that extra bit more tasty, they have a huge range of options for the fillings and toppings I usually get the Turkey or chicken schnitzel the sandwich rolls are also very cheap considering how fresh and filling they are they are usually around $5"
"GREAT BANH MI SERVED WITH A SMILE This Kenny's outlet is in the legal preceint in Melbourne's CBD"
"Great place and super friendly staff, they r all impressive"
"I had a fall when leaving the store"
"Just had my last usual breakfast at this joint"
I eat here regularly minimum of once a week , the sandwich rolls here are so delicious! The bread rolls are home made daily which just makes it that extra bit more tasty, they have a huge range of options for the fillings and toppings I usually get the Turkey or chicken schnitzel the sandwich rolls are also very cheap considering how fresh and filling they are they are usually around $5.00 - $10.00 depending on what you get. they also offer pies and other Pastry’s which are all home made as well, they also offer other hot dishes and salads which are very cheap, this Kenny’s is one of the cleanest freshest/ tastiest and busiest I have seen before the staff are so lovely and such hard workers. Also the hot drinks taste fantastic too!!
GREAT BANH MI SERVED WITH A SMILE This Kenny's outlet is in the legal preceint in Melbourne's CBD. It is a good option if you are after a quick takeaway lunch. Banh Mi is pretty good - fresh ingredients and a range of meat and vegetarian options. Also serves a good cup of coffee to go as well as meat and salad in a bowl (kind of Vietnamese version of Poke bowl). Friendly staff and efficient service. People with mobility issues will be fine as it is on one flat level with no steps or entry doors to negotiate.
Great place and super friendly staff, they r all impressive. I had been off grid for quite a long time, bit they still remember my order which is super cool. The food is amazing too. The bakery accepts both cash and card which is understandable The employee could speak either English or Vietnamese, which pretty impressed me. The food and coffee r amazing too If you are not really realy fussy, you would love to dine in there I d love to come back and enjoy my food there Great place
I had a fall when leaving the store. Pretty horrible and very painful. I told the shop assistant to put a sign informing customers to “watch their step”. She said okay. I went past the bakery the next day and saw that they had taken no initiative to prevent future falls. Very clear they don’t have any care for the safety of their customers hence why I’m never going to purchase anything from them again. Please be careful, they don’t care about their customers or their safety
Just had my last usual breakfast at this joint. Being a usual costumer you feel that you can be better treated. Being busy and overwhelmed is never an excuse specially when you have enough worker to help serve the customer. TO toss the sandwich at a your usual customer and not steer the coffee is what get people upset on their work day.. The rolls are fresh backed, one star for that. pity never going to buy from there again. Everything else is average , one star.
Average vetnamese breadroll with humongous portion. I went in to the shop when they almost started closing. I didn’t expect welcoming but the staff kindly help me out. I had traditional pork bread roll. And it was just an usual one you can expect. Not bad. But I wouldn’t come back. These days I’m fixed on banh mi and I’m traveling all the way to find the best place.
A serviceable place for banh mi in the CBD at great value. Good cheap eat in the CBD and decent taste. I had the Vietnamese pork roll for the authentic banh mi experience. Banh mis are priced at around $9. They also do various types of banh mis with several non traditional toppings; like normal rolls with a banh mi base.
I have been a fan of Kenny's from their early days ( when they were opposite to where they are now). Their chicken salad roll is always our goto. Always so fresh. I haven't been back in over 2 years as I live interstate but I went there towards the end of last year and grabbed myself a chicken salad roll. Still the same.
Used to be one of my go to around Aug to Oct 2022. Then the roll became so small. The price listed EXCLUSIVE of 10% surcharge on a normal day which they dont notice anywhere. 9.20 per roll and ridiculous extra $1 for a rude staff repeatedly telling me 10.20 without saying anything bout the surcharge
Very rude staff, eventhough they made mistake by taking wrong orders and they will show you attitude with their expression and throwing the food away, banging the kitchen tools. The rolls were very dry and hard, not consistent. The coffee is a big failure. Will never ever step into this store.
Love going to Kennys Bakery. Great service (always greet me by saying my name which makes it extra special and they remember my coffee order), very decent prices, and the coffee is spot on. The food is also highly recommend, I suggest trying the bacon and egg roll or Vietnamese pork roll.
Staff were rude and unfriendly. Portion sizes very tiny. $1 for a scraping of avocado on a sandwich. “Salad sandwich” was $8 and had some old iceberg lettuce, very old carrot and one slice of cucumber. Expensive and stingy. Terrible experience. Will never come back here
I noticed that the prepared roll was not the Authentic Vietnamese roll I had ordered. It appeared to be a nem nuong roll instead. Concerned, I approached the staff member who had prepared my order and kindly advised her that there seemed to
One of the person attending was using her phone with glove on and then preparing sandwiches!! Today's chilli didn't taste good. Also they girls are so loud, they should have some respect for others that we dont speak their language.
Good Vietnamese cafe to grab and go for lunch. Tried the Rice Bowl with pork sausage. The sausage tasted very tasty. Combined with the rice and Vietnamese sweet chili dressing over pickled carrots, really yum and fresh.
Delicious, healthy, FRESH and full of flavour! It's your go-to for a quick takeaway especially when you've got limited lunch breaks. Try their Vietnamese pork rolls and BBQ chicken salad rolls. They're to die for.
I had a brownie. It was fine - it was well priced (only $3.80) and service was prompt. The brownie was a bit dry though. I'd come back for a cheap snack if needed but would probably target elsewhere.
Very rude staff..staff acts as misers in adding ingredients to the banh mi rolls...no consistency in making rolls..diff ingredients in the same type of roll every single time..
I bought a pork roll this afternoon, within an hour it went straight through me. Food poisoning hands down, the meat had obviously been sitting there for far too long.
Just popped in to grab a coffee and seen a chocolate eclair. Prob freshest and tastiest one I’ve ever had. Full 5 stars for this cafe. Can’t wait to get my next one
Kenny's is always so tasty, and so reasonably priced. Their rolls are crunchy, and their meat always juicy. Speedy service even during a big lineup at lunchtime
awful customer service. Don’t come. Staff cannot wait till I finish my roll and when I ask for five minutes, they agreed and shut all the lights.
Honestly, decent price for the city. Very friendly staff and Great rolls. Closest resemblance to Vietnam's rolls that I've had in Melbourne.
great grill chicken roll and coffee. customer service is quick, the team is extremely friendly and amazing. keep it up great work!
Consistently good bahn mi, no frills but no fuss and friendly staff. My go to for a good sammich with a decent filling in the cbd.
Remember when everyone used to fill their pies up with awful gelatin rather than real low fat meat? Well this place still does!
Reasonably priced sandwiches, convenient for a quick lunch. Good choices such as crackling pork and authentic Vietnamese pork
Reasonable price in CBD with very kind and friendly staff. Will come back again coffee is nice in a very big cup …
Staff is awful. They don't know how to treat the customers. Done even understand English. Will never visit this place again.
The roast or whatever smells so strongly it fills Collins St and makes me gag. Contain your stink! Get some exhaust fans.
Fast and delicious sandwiches in rice flour rolls. Choose from salads, roast pork, chicken, schnitzel or other options.
Great causal place to go for a quick and tasty lunch. Plenty of space for eating in and takeaway available too.
Food not bad. Reasonable price. But rude staff . Poor customer service. Staff think they are feeding for free.
They put a complimentary tomato sauce on your sausage roll, you dont get that back in New Zealand …
Great coffee for a very good price, served with a smile. What more do you want? Staff very friendly.
Honestly one of the best pork rolls I've had in quite a while! And I've eaten a lot of pork rolls
A cafe/bakery that specialises in really nice Vietnamese rolls. The staff are amazingly friendly.
Great place to grab a quick lunch to go. Had a pork sausage Vietnamese roll...was delicious
Very popular with the city crowd. I love the chicken schnitzel roll with lettuce and Mayo.
Love Kenny’s coffee!! Ladies are always friendly and always smiling! Clean and tidy store
Terrible Vietnamese pork rolls, pork tasted off, hardly any salad! Roll was half empty!
Lovely bakery with wonderful employees and very yummy bread. Price is also very cheap
Delicious homemade baked goods, sandwiches and drinks. A very lovely family run it.
One of the staff is very unpolite and I will never come back to this place anymore
Pies pretty ordinary. Also was given the wrong flavour and couldn't get a refund
Friendly staff and the ladies are lovely. Food is tasty and reasonably priced.
Nem neuong was excellent, fresh bread quick service, great family bakery
