Pastries and cakes are great, sadly the service needs a lot of improvement for a certain staff member Understand it was 3 customers policy in a shop at one time. My husband and I waited outside while there is 2 customers inside to comply with the policy. But while when we are ordering (NOT finished to get what we want), a staff member (not the one serving us) told for one of us to wait outside , just one person ordering so they can serve more customers. What a repulsive way to treat a customer. Firstly we count ourself as 2 customers before going in and WAITED patiently outside to make sure there is only 3 customer instore. Secondly we dont know what you are serving what cake and pastries you have on a day. Until I SEE what you have in the counter. Its is a different scenario if you have printed menu for us to choose so ONE of us can go in and order. Should we order separately so we comply with your policy? It is different if we order a coffee, we are ordering pastries and desserts...

This bakery is sensational, they have a great range of food. It is priced slightly higher than many other bakery's My Family and I have been going there for years and the sausage rolls are exceptional. There is generally enough staff to cover the influx of people as this bakery is well known by the locals and the community. I have always been able to get a park out the front Q: Would I recommend this to others A: Yes, we have driven out of way to eat from here

Approx 3 years ago I found the Kerrie Rd Bakery by chance while using the laundromat nearby. I bought a Satay Pie, which was seriously the best tasting pie I’ve ever eaten in my life (and I’ve eaten many). It was so good I went straight back in the bakery and bought 2 more. I’ve since moved to Adelaide and often wonder if they are still making those Satay pies to the same recipe? I reckon it would be worth an 800km road trip just to experience them again

Great coffee, incredible cakes and desserts. Pies are not bad, and staff are friendly enough. More of a grab & go bakery than a sit & sip spot, though there is a little sitting park across the road if you are out for a coffee and a yarn. They also have reasonably priced large cakes to order, and a decent selection to buy on the spot if you're in a hurry (much nicer than a woolies mud cake and probably not that much more expensive in this economy).

The bakery is full of delicious fresh baked bread pastries and cakes my favorite the chocolate Crosiants. Staff are friendly and can make you a beautiful fresh coffee. There is also an area out front with which u can sit and eat which is shaded or shielded from the weather. Five star service and food. Parking available out front and a little parkland over the road to sit in aswell.

Who'd have thought the humble apple cake could so sublime? That the humble apple cake, instead of being the last choice, could be something you'd travel to choose first, and be compelled to buy more than one, because to stop at one is to suffer? Kerrie Rd Bakery do the best apple cake i have ever tasted. By far, far, far. That's three fars of 3 powers; not 3 times. YUM

Best Iced Coffee in town, I am a regular customer and all hot and cold food is absolutely yummy!!! Still is my favourite Bakery, and big shout out to the staff who lift my spirits and put a smile on my face after some of the worst days as a frontline worker, you are appreciated and still love the coffee and food!!!!!!

  • Tommy Jackson

By far my favourite Bakery in Melbourne. Everything I ever get is amazing and everytime I'm there the staff are the best! Always great having a laugh with the Boss Pete he is a legend. I would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't ever been to get down and grab a coffee and something to eat

This is my local coffee stop, going there more mornings for a latte. Very friendly staff, coffee can be a little varied sometimes based on who makes it, but it’s never bad. I haven’t gotten the cakes or breads there too often, but they are always nice and fresh when I do!

Good quality cafe with good service. Coffee is ranging from average to good. Small cakes are quite delicious. Tried them for the first time recently and have been wanting to go back and try more! Baked cheesecake is especially good. Not too sweet. High recommend a try.

Went in to get a quick sandwich for lunch. Had to walk out after 10 minutes, after multiple people queued behind me were served first. Either through prejudice or just being overlooked, none of the three ladies working seemed interested in serving me. Terrible.

  • Richard Wolf

Been going to this bakery since first moving to Glen Waverley. Good sausage rolls and pies, and decent bread an rolls. Coffee is usually pretty good when I buy one. If you need coffee beans or some milk, you can get it all here! Staff is usually attentive.

The front of house staff are abiding by the COVID rules extremely well and I felt very safe visiting the bakery. However the main baker in the back came out the front with his mask dangling around his ear talking to staff, follow the rules. I'm boycotting.

  • Meaghan Walker

This is a very popular local bakery. The baked goods are fresh and delicious. They now have a sandwich bar, which is a welcome addition to the area. The coffee is delicious and it is a very popular place for people to drop in and get their morning coffee.

Can't thank the amazing team at Kerrie road enough for the gorgeous flourless cake they made for mt sister's birthday. Absolutely devine cake, with a beautiful chocolate plaque. Ordering was super easy and my partner has no issues picking

Had a pie and some pastries for lunch. The chunky beef pie had chunky pieces in it. The pastry was flakey. The almond croissant looked flat but still tasted great, and the almond croissant was surprisingly nice and light. Excellent bakery.

  • Rey Dey

Coffee and pies are delicious but mostly I wanted to comment on how brilliant the staff are. I found out one of the young girls serving were having a rough day and was amazed because you could never tell and I have so much respect for the

What an absolute gem of a bakery!!! I desperately needed a grazing box and they not only exceeded my expectations in price, quantity and quality, but they were such a lovely bunch of people too. Will definitely make this place a regular.

  • Karen Gray

They helped cater my dads 80th birthday with dozens of mini tarts (petit fours), huge hit. Everyone was impressed. Looked and tasted amazing. Highly recommend this bakery. The staff were fantastic, brilliant service and really friendly

I love it when I turn up at a new (to me) bakery and people are queued up out the door Coffee excellent, hot chocolate excellent, cakes, slices and usual bakery items in abundance. 8 of us and everyone was happy. Highly recommended

Delicous pasties and apple tarts here. Cant believe i didnt know about this place so close. 3 months on and its been a weekly event coming here. The apple cakes are the best, but get here before 1 or 2pm or they are all gone!

  • Norman Chia

Lovely bakery that makes delicious bread. Our son loves the pies and sausage rolls, especially the cottage pie. Pies around the $6 mark, depending on type. Can be cheaper. Pastries are ok. Coffees are good. Friendly service.

  • Brianna Payet

My partner and I drive quite a distance out of our way to come here. The food is incredible. I crave their pies and jam tarts often - I've become a regular customer, haha! Best café in Melbourne. (in my opinion, of course!)

  • Hana Sugimoto

I’ve had many apple cakes and this place has the best apple cake I’ve ever had! Please try them! And their pies are great too! I can’t wait to keep coming back to try new things because everything looks delicious!!!

Absolutely without doubt the best bakery anywhere and the 60 or so members of Tally Ho Fitness Group who have enjoyed their rolls, pies and muffins for the last 40 years or so unanimously and wholeheartedly agree.

  • Warren Jennings

Good local bakery with a larger than average range. Serves decent tea and coffee. The pies and sandwiches are very good. Can get very busy but the service usually copes very well. Has limited seating.

  • Sandy B

First time at this bakery. Ordered a pie and meat pastie. It was late in the afternoon but they were still very hot and fresh. Reasonably priced too. Very impressed and would definitely return.

  • G P.

Great coffee! Also had a very delicious brownie. Staff were polite and efficient. Next time I will give 5 stars if they smile and talk in a friendly way and make me feel more welcome.

Brought pies here on a recommendation of a friend. Loved the satay chicken pie. Also got some frozen lamb and rosemary pie and steak, bacon and cheese pie to take home. Loved it

  • Brooke (qu33nofoz)

Waited 5 minutes to be served with no other customers and 2 staff members standing talking to each other, to receive a sausage roll that was completely black at the bottom.

  • Susan Cousins

  • Kathryn Bickerton

We love this place! A huge selection of sweet treats. Also pies, sausage rolls, croissants. Lots of bread. They also sell coffee. Outdoor seating on the footpath.

  • miner mayn

Good food, appalling staff, avoid the lady with nose piercings and rainbow hair. Rude, bitter and clearly doesn’t want to work there. Ruining a good business

  • Zeph

The coffee is not bad. Excellent variety of cakes. They make sandwiches too and sell hot pies. Popular with locals on weekends, especially in the morning.

  • Tech leaders

This place has quite clearly the best bread in the southern suburbs. Baked fresh and with good ingredients, move over bakers delight; Kerry road is king.

  • Sandra Dowling

The pies are still good but not as good as they used to be. The contents are good, but the pastry was better years ago.
