I have gone in a few times to the Kmart Caroline springs store and tried to purchase from 1 to 3 shopping trolleys totally full and over flowing. I went to the register to pay and waited to be served as I always have issues scanning items and need staff help or machine needs staff assistance several times in the transaction. We made it clear I’m waiting for Customer service and to be served by a person and wanting to check out due to the loads of trolley’s. As we made it clear that I wanted to be served and happy to wait for service. (I need help as the self serve registers increase anxiety stress as this has happened 3 times in the last month) service is bad and they don’t like to help or just ignore you completely or walk off and go on a break without saying anything after waiting 15min in que. Todays we’re 3 trolleys and The guy was serving a customer and nearly finish up the transaction, he seen the loads of trolleys I have and quickly put up signs register closed even when I have been waiting about 10min in the que .This has happened now 3 times to me. We made a comment to a friend that was also shopping with us that he seen us coming and quickly put the sign up. The staff member came up and said arrogantly to my husband that he was abusive to him and started yelling at my husband and told him rudely to leave the store we will not tolerate abusive behaviour. My husband didn’t say anything abusive to him but stating the fact that it was obvious that he seen the 3 full trolleys. Even our friend was a witness that we weren’t abusive till the staff member kept going. We will put a formal complaint to head office.

Disgusting & lazy customer service I just received at the Caroline springs Kmart. Why have a job there if you don’t want to do your job? And just want to stand around and give people dirty looks when they need your help at the self service check out! I had 2 big bulky items and a few smaller items and at the same time juggling holding my crying baby, instead of doing what her job describes and giving friendly helpful customer service she just stood there give me death stares when I kept needing her help with the machine. It could have been a fast and easy experience if she just done her job and came and quickly help me scan through the bulky items. After the first time scanning them all in I had to do it all again because I didn’t know I’d have to pay for my gift cards I was buying separately to my payment method so she was aware I’d need her help scanning the bulky items again and her approving the machine again but no I just got a mean attitude and the biggest death stares for needing her help at the check out. Please train your staff to be friendly and to actually do their job! It’s not that hard! I’m really disappointed with my customer service experience by the girl with dark brown hair working on self serve check out between 5:10-5:35pm on Wednesday 5/3/23

Forcing people to use self checkouts needs to stop ! My self and another customer were paying with cash, there was no one serving on registers(even though there were staff members everywhere). I waited over 20 minutes in the line! The Kmart staff members were just staring at us instead of helping There was only one self checkout register which was accepting cash. When I asked for a staff member to open a register, they said to use the self checkout and they will help me. Of course when it was my turn to scan my items the team member was nowhere to be seen. I ended up leaving the store without buying anything because I don't know how to use self check out and no staff member would assist me. Kmart is literally forcing people to use self checkouts, it's a joke. Not shopping at Kmart , especially this store until this changes. You probably don't care or won't even see this since corporate greed has gotten to your head and you don't really care about Australia customers and Australia value, just dollars.

I visited first time this centre 20th oct 2022 around 7.30pm and had a very bad experience. Unhelpful, reluctant and rude staff, poor customer service. Desk service was closed or weather not available so I was served by a young girl at machine service she was so rude and didn't attend me with respect. Her body language was disrespectful and she was rolling her eyes on me when i asked for assistance. I will never go and suggest anyone to visit that centre.l was very upset . I rank this centre 0 out of 10. I request admin don't keep young staff on service desks they are immature, inexperienced and always in their fantasy world even if they are at job.

The lack of staff at this Kmart makes it really hard to shop here. Waiting in line for one person on checkout while people with trolleys full of stuff are having to go to self-checkout and deal with the numerous problems that arise. Only one person helping with the self-checkout but they are either clueless or stand around ignoring everyone. I see more staff hanging around stocking shelves and talking than where they desperately need to be which is the checkout area. Also, what’s with the lack of bags in this place? There always seems to be no plastic bags available which makes it harder if you’re not running around with a trolley.

The woman on the door today was so incredibly rude. I ran into to grab an esky for my baby shower this weekend. She saw me enter the store and I was in for less than 5 minutes whilst I grabbed the esky. On the way out she checked my receipt, as of course you do. She studied the receipt before asking me to open the esky. How embarassing. A pregnant woman struggling to bend down, open the latches and then struggling to do them up again whilst people look on. Never have I ever been treated like that there. I go there at least once a week. I am more than happy for processes to be followed but that was extreme. Highly disappointed.

It's a fine store, but the staff need some improvement. If there were more staff it might balance out, I know there are staff shortages everywhere at the moment. When the self-checkout is expectedly useless and malfunctions, maybe the *single* staff member at checkout should do more than just stand there ignoring people. Came in for something quick, after waiting 10mins at checkout I just left... K-mart, stop pushing garbage self-service machines, put a minimum of 2 people in checkout and train them to deal with issues.

I was at the Kmart in Caroline springs I put my money I. The self service and is took my money and there was one single staff in the whole Kmart and he didn’t know what to do he kept on trying to call other staff and managers but they all didn’t answer his call and the. After 1 hour of waiting I got my Chang’s back and then I walk out and see 3 managers just standing around and chatting and then I tell them what happened and all they say is sorry I apologies don’t recommend coming never coming back

I came to this Kmart late at night to print some goofy photos of my dogs, at about 15m till closing time the printer malfunctions Elisa was very helpful despite the printer have one issue after the other and a colleague Olly was kind enough to help her through this absolute disaster when he wasn't even working! Sounds like he really knows his stuff! I am very grateful for their dedicated assistance and great customer service thank you Daniella, Elisa and Olly

I'm a frequent shopper at Kmart and recently, on a Sunday evening, I was assisted by Gabrielle with a number of items at the Customer Service Counter. Even though Gabrielle had to assist quite a few people, the smile never left her face and she was very cool and calm, despite being so busy. I was very happy and satisfied with the customer service I received from Gabrielle, she was incredibly helpful and definitely sets a high bar for other Kmart staff members to follow.

I was served today by alex and he was unbelievable. His shear knowledge on the self check out was second to none. As i approached the registers today i saw that there was no one on a physical register and alex reassured me the he would help me with my overfilling trolley. I didnt believe him at first but in a constant rush he reassured me that we get through this. 26/03/2022 was a great experience. Highly recommend only when alex is working. God i love that kid.

Has a great variety of stock, set up I thought will be smaller than the other kmarts but it's the same. Daniela was quite helpful and kind as I had a toddler with me and she was very nice to him unlike other places I've been to where staff have said oh make sure he doesn't touch anything. He didn't but, there's a nice and rude way of approaching things. I'll be back. Staff here seems a bit friendlier

Store was clean and good lay out. Lost a stars as all check outs closed, only self check out was open with one staff member servicing customers and machine constantly asking for a bagging code. Trolleys left in the way at self check out, made payment an unpleasant experience. Poor staffer was doing all she could but really should have had help.

Kmart's customer service standards have dropped. Returns are becoming more difficult, and look like they are not interested in supporting customers with returns. I am sure it is not the staff at fault as they appear to be following instructions from the top. At this rate, I won't be surprised if customers will start going elsewhere.

Boycott kmart, asking a 70 years old lady to prove her vaccinated cert, she showed them that in paper but they didn't satisfied, and still asked that lady to prove that certificate is her by asked for her licence, since when a Kmart staff can check a person information like a cop? This is ridiculous Kmart

Went there second time around and the staff at the entrance were not friendly or welcoming. As we were exiting, I don't know why they checked my husbands small bag the size of A5 paper, when we already purchased a whole lot of items. Other Kmart store are not unwelcoming as this one.

This Kmart is really spacious inside and is very neat as well, although some sections weren't restocked and some items were in the wrong items. For example a pack of socks were all the way across the store... Overall the shop is great! Love the customer service as well ☺️

My daughter and I love shopping at this kmart. Staff are always nice and helpful. Tania is one of our favourite s, she always greets us nicely at the entrance, says good bye as she checks our receipt on our way out and always helps when we have enquiries.

Very inexperienced staff. They didn’t know how to process a zip payment. I was going to returned an item and I was forced to have a voucher instead of refund to the card. Try to avoid this store at any cost. Had enough with Kmart.

Caroline Springs Kmart should change their name to Laverton market. I can’t believe how disorganised the place is, and how much stock is on the floors. You should go get your staff cleaning lessons and haircuts.

Visited it during our stay in Melbourne. I found the collection of clothes same as Walmart I'm Canada. However found home decor items & kitchen gadgets reasonably priced & of variety

Was there on tuesday 29th november 8:30 pm the music was SO LOUD my partner and I had to scream at each other. The experience gave me a migrane. It was awful, never going back.

Always a good place to pop in to.. you can grab a bargain, grab that special something that you are wanting..prices are good. Love there linen products for my home.
