This is one of the better Kmart's that I've been too. I'm not sure why, but I like the layout of the store. They have good quality products from technology to clothes, from accessories to toys. Staff has always been nice, although going in today there was a Kmart employee at the entrance who greeted me as I entered, but she wasn't wearing a mask, when I was leaving I saw her again not wearing a mask and standing close and talking to customers. I understand that maybe some people have exemptions from wearing masks, I don't know if she does. I was not scared, I just don't want to go back into lockdown because of a silly mistake like this. Other than this I have had no problems with the staff or customers.

Such a bad experience of shopping (30/12/2023 at 7:55 pm). The girls at the counter closed the paying counters right in front of our face mentioning that the store is closed while we were still standing to pay before 8pm. We were waiting for the girl to come and help us to pay as the counter was posing an error, when she came to help, she just closed it on our face mentioning that we are closed. That is so rude. Our daughter started crying in front of her as she realised she could not get her toys now but the staff girl was way too rude to respond politely to her. Not very appreciative. The staff need to be trained for better hospitality skills.

average Tidy and easy to navigate, I go there a lot as it is my closes store being 10-15 minutes drive but many times it does not stock the items I am looking for. An extra 10 minute drive to Epping Kmart is better with stock sometimes. I recently used the print and create instant print photo machine and I am very pleased with it! 5 stars for this machine Easy use and instant prints in a few minutes. I wi fi my photos from my Samsung phone to the seated creation PC's, got a receipt and scanned it at the printer station. The Kmart plush toy selection is cute.

Kmart is my favourite store EVER! Their prices are very suitable for their products and it’s all good quality! Their costumer service is really good but sometimes you can’t find any workers around to help you but eventually you will find them. One thing I don’t like which is unlikely, it’s that online sometimes they say it’s out of stock but there is stuff or is in stock but when you go in stores, you can’t find it. And some shelf’s are messy or in organised. Overall it’s an amazing store with a lot of items you would love! They always have a variety of options! 9/10 would recommend!

Secondly was the "WHOOP WHOOP" sound, this means to evacuate the building, upon asking staff what to do, regardless of staff member, all customers received a "I don't know, just wait" response. Staff are not correctly trained with emergency protocols.

Excellent customer service and they pick up their phones unlike other branches I called 4 Kmart's near me only south Morang picked up their phones and answered my enquiry others went to the switch board regardless of the number I chose it kept ringing for ten minutes and no-one could be bothered picking up the phone to answer my enquiry . Great job staff at South Morang you show the others how it's done . Ten out of Ten I drove longer distance to South Morang to get my supplies just because the picked up the phone and made time for me.

Cheap price, reasonable quality. BUT customer service ZERO star. The self check-out counter ZERO star. If you want customers to do self check-out, at least make sure products have proper packaging, things like individual glass/ceramic wares are not suitable for self check-out unless it has proper packaging to avoid damage. AND DON"T direct the customer to the self check-out if you can see that the customer has a FULL TROLLEY, that will be real unreasonable and bad customer service. Today was the worst even experience I had with Kmart.

Second time this has happened so definitely feel compelled to share. I asked a Kmart worker if they had any stock for this particular bike. He checks and said no, just got the display model left He then offers to call another store to check. I say yes thank you. He pulls out his phone walks away, and never comes back.....We wait and wait, then I see him carrying boxes and acting like he never saw us before. Second time it's happened, and only in Kmart. Kmart...this is so frustrating

Awful customer service. Asked for a trolley as they require coins and I didn’t have any on me after being reprimanded by the lady at the front for not bringing coins she told me should would give me one but I must return it when she gave it to me I noticed it was actually a target trolley. As I went to leave the same woman whose name tag I could not see was yelling at a man bc she believed he had coins he could use for the trolley. Absolutely appalling

The old short woman that was working at the photo Center on Saturday afternoon (9/9) really needs to work on her attitude. I simply was asking a question. Her response was disgusting. Made me feel dumb and also to respond like that in front of younger staff makes it look like it’s ok to speak to customers like that. Let me tell you in my business we have a 0% policy if staff act like this written warning then next time you’re out. Do better .

Girl named Aaliyah was at checkout today around 5:15pm, I asked her for a bag and she just said “none” and then ignored me while I stood there, a young guy was also there and said “what’s up” when I was about to walk away back to my check out. Are these people being put through interviews? Wow the service... UPDATE: Still no response from Kmart here, guess they don’t care about the level of service? Is there a manager or boss? Hm

In these stressful times when we can't just go into stores and buy the products we need I received exceptional service from Ann over the phone. I spent almost 1 hour on hold with Kmart Epping and the Campbellfield stores and then I gave up. I called Kmart South Morang and Ann answered straight away and provided great service and helped me with my order. Thank You Ann and the Kmart South Morang team!

Really unimpressed with the staff in the service checkout area tonight. Steph failing to deliver attentiveness or greeting to customers with issues in the self checkout area. Was spoken to informally then yelled out to later upon leaving the store to confirm purchase of items. Was disappointed in the lack to professionalism as usually staff are wonderful and helpful.

The girls down the back counter doing photos are so rude. Because I was hanging around the counter they told me I couldn't and to go and do some shopping as my 1 photo would take an hour. No where in the store does it say you can't stand and use your phone. I wasn't harrassing them. Clearly they don't think their abilities to do their job are of great standard.

I went in here in early-mid January 2023 looking for one specific item. The staff were nice enough, but the place was a mess. Stuff all over the place in Sound & Vision near the service desk, and generally just messy elsewhere. Hard to know whether you have an actual item if it’s all sitting jumbled up on the bottom shelf instead of being neatly on display!

Typical Kmart store, they have a good variety of items that you can view and purchase in person, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. The line to check out items can get very long, and as the checkout is placed in the middle of the store, it can make moving around certain areas difficult, but overall it's not too bad.

As I waited to be served before I could even walk up to the register the cashier lady rolled her eyes at me. I also don't think they should check peoples bags every single time cause I had to walk back to get a tag removed off underwear that I had bought and I had to walk up to a man which was super embarrassing.

I still find the (4+ year of registers in the middle of the store) set up of Kmart ill-designed. The quality of the merchandise has dropped, esp women's clothing (design and material). However, has what I need, is convenient and I will continue to shop there unless I find a better option.

Great value but position of registers in centre of store has often stopped me buying more. I see something on the way out and won't return to register for one item, whereas if registers were at front of store I would add that item to my basket. My friends have similar criticism.

We end up going here even when we don't have to buy anything, haha! Has a variety of options right from home decor to apparel to toys and electronics. We always pick their uniquely designed cutlery and/or tea-towels, and scented candles.

I must say that there array of clothing and other goods in the store was improve since the last two years. The designs, the quality, the stocking and yet maintaining their goods in an affordable prices. Worth a visit. Highly recommended

Rude customer service. Arrogant customer service member who was asked a simple question if a particular product was available and just spoke back in a really rude manner as if the question and the quick conversation was a burden.

Out of stock of size 2 boys shoes and single mattress protectors. Being pretty general items that you'd expect multiple versions of.. that's not great, . It's all I went there for. I love Kmart. but -2 stars for lack of stock.

I placed a click and collect order at 9:30 am and waited and waited to hear if I could pick my order up before 4pm same day as it says in email. Ring the bloody store and phone just rings out. What a joke.

Went on a Friday after 8pm with my nieces. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and it was not busy and everyone seems to have been happy (other customers and staff). Guess best time to go late Fridays! :)

Things are generally well organise and the staff are generally helpful and welcoming. I’d have liked if they had more varieties here on things regarding pets. I like that they open till late!
