"Great option for a quick feed! Food comes out steaming hot, in great time"
In short, very bland & expensive food. Disgusting spring onion pancake which was deep fried and clearly from a frozen packet and had almost no spring onion in it at all. It absorbed a lot of oil because the oil wasn't hot enough - so we were served an oily flavorless pastry disc. The soup dumplings should be better for the price and to think somebody hand made them to order and they're still so below average baffles me. The spring rolls were bland and oily, and I had to ask 3 times for sauce. Keep in mind, the restaurant only had 4 other people in it at the time. They also charge far too much for a pot of tea which is a real pet peeve of mine. Many cheaper restaurants offering better food will give you complimentary tea. A shame because it is in a great location and the restaurant itself is beautiful. At this stage though it is an absolute wasted space. I won't return and would suggest it isn't even worth trying once.

Sept 2023: It seems they read feedback and adapt! You can now order dumplings as 6 or 15 pieces. Fried quail was renamed salted quail. Wife loved the chicken and prawn dumplings, but sweet and sour pork ribs were tough. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was tasty. Mongolian beef is still delicious! July 2023: If you're going to a film at Pentridge, be warned that your chances of eating here are negligible unless you book. Stop and try to reserve a table before going into the movies. We ordered truffle dumplings, fried quail and sizzling beef with Mongolian sauce. Dumplings were nice, but only come in a serve of 8, when 4 would have been adequate for our needs. I asked if we could only get 4 and was told no. Sizzling Mongolian beef was delicious - I could eat it every day! The fried quail was too dry and salty. Service was excellent. We'll be back!

This restaurant is a surprising find for us. The decor is warm and luxurious. The food is authentic and appealing. We had the sweet and sour whole fish and sizzling honey pepper beef which were delicious. The grilled eel fried rice is the best fried rice I've had period. Beef flat noodles, dumplings & Xiao Long Bao are also comforting and done well. Food pairs nicely with some select tea such as the rose oolong. As you can probably tell, we're repeat customers as the food was consistently good for what we ordered. It's our local now. Also appreciate the young waiting staff (locals I hope).

We ordered pork ribs which has bone in the picture. But it came as sweet and sour pork. They said the picture in the menu is just for reference! I say it’s false advertising! The special fried rice is nothing special. White rice and sprinkles of veg. Seriously the food court has better fried rice. The chilli oil pork dumpling image is saturated in chilli oil. What came was hardly soaking. Plain yellow dumpling with vinegar. What a joke! Worse place to eat and we paid so much for these lousy meals. Never again

Great option for a quick feed! Food comes out steaming hot, in great time. Servers are attentive and readily available. Beef noodle dish was so tasty, I need the sauce recipe! Dumplings are not pictured, and were unfortunately the least impressive part of the meal. Looked and tasted fine, but like straight from a freezer bag packet.

Stir Fried Beef with Flat Rice Noodle
Restaurant is visually great and very clean , not super busy as you wouldn’t know it’s here. It’s on the top level next to the cinema , heaps of parking in the underground parking and 3 hours free . Menu is quite large and food quality is pretty good . Hand made dumplings are being made fresh on the spot. See mixed reviews about staff , staff seems to be changing quite abit but every time I’ve been they all been very nice . Worth a look as their isn’t much Asian food around unless you go to Preston high st
Too amazingly beautiful,I like the braised beef noodle. The soup is really made by the bone soup(nice broth) and the type of needle is so chewy , and the chilly sauce is too good for the noodle. Not only the noodle but also the buns do have all flavour in one bite. Love it. This shop will be my second home whenever I am hungry.

2023: Somewhat bougie dumplings, though food didn't reflect price, only the bright lights. The skin on the Har Gao was rather thick and the filling was of the minced (prawn?) variety. I normally joke to friends about the price of the Chinese Broccoli dish in restaurants, but for a dish of Green Beans, $25.80. No joke.

These king prawns are amazing ...... I loved it. Specifically, the roasted garlic chunks on the top with red chili were tastylicilous . Because I told them to make it spicy. Also, the waiter's behavior was soo good

I have eaten at the restaurant a twice and it was a really wonderful experience. However , our takeaway last night was really disappointing, the flavours good but the meats not very tender- especially the pork and beef’. We had a guest from interstate and found ourselves making apologies. More
The food was absolutely delicious and the waiter was hilarious. We ordered 4 dishes. Dumplings the one that had pretty much everything in it , kimchi fried rice, beef stir fry and mixed seafood platter platter calamari, prawn and fish,
Had lunch here on a weekday so it wasn’t too busy and we were able to get a table quite easily. We had the Steamed Prawn Dumplings, Honey Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs (without the bone) and the Special Fried Rice. The Honey Chicken in
I came in tonight without a booking. Was told by the acting manager for the night that there was a 30 minute wait. Was happy to wait so I sat on the seat waiting. People with bookings did arrive. But there were two groups of three

We came for an early dinner with the kids without a booking. The place was maybe 20% filled, the hostess was not welcoming rather came of a bit rude. In saying that, the rest of the waiter and waitresses were friendly.
Lovely dining experience, attentive staff, quick to receive food. The meals were lovely! The stand out for me was the eggplant teriyaki dish vegetarian dumplings were ok but next time I’ll go go for the buns.
I went for dinner there with friends and get together. It was very soothing place to be for dinner. Joyful ambience giving you vibe of very proper fine dine in experience.
This place used to be our local when we would go to the cinema however, after dining there on Monday evening we were shocked and disappointed with the service we received.
This place is usually alright for a decent quick meal, however today was not satisfactory. Despite the service being alright, the food was not much to it and at one stage
