Have been going here for years. No complaints thus far. That all changed yesterday. Special Fried Rice was burnt (and that's putting it mildly). It was charcoal. The smell was unreal. Also asked for Satay Chicken skewers. Got skewers but no sauce. To top it off, ordered via phone at 6:13pm. Was told 15 minutes. Order actually handed over counter at 6:51pm. Funny thing is when I arrived at around 6:30, I was told I might have to wait for a few minutes. No problem, that's fine. Then some bloke came into the shop complaining his order he picked up 20 minutes ago was missing a Special Fried Rice? What do they do, well to appease this dude they disappear out the back and return with a SFR ready to go! This guy takes it, mutters under his breath and leaves the store.... Why funny? Well what are the odds this SFP was from my order? Now to be fair, once I got home and realised the order was wrong, I rang them and they offered to despatch a driver with a replacement SFP and tub of Satay Sauce which they did. However damage was done. $60+ later and not good enough. Waited too long and order wasn't right. Won't be going back again.

Buffet dinner at 7:30. There wasn't a lot of selection. Some noodlea, beef and veg, and chicken. There were fried sprinv rolls, calamari, pork balls. There were some fried rice was and a small selection of soups. For dessert, different flavour of ice cream. Here's the letdown. For a chinese buffet, there were no dimsums or siomai. The fried rice was a few days or at least hours old, definitely not freshly-cooked. The chicken and corn spip was bland and honestly had the texture of something you have with hangover. My son who loves fries, wouldn't touch it. The kicker was the rainbow ice cream which was... Tada! Really only vanilla with different food colours. Thank God i love vanilla, that saved the night for me. The staff were friendly and nice. But food was underwhelming for $28.8 per adult and 12$ for kids.

Overall Waited for 2 hours and 20 mins for food. The restaurant ticked off that our order had been delivered on the Uber eats app after an hour and 15 and we had to call them up to follow up where it was after we couldn’t find it outside our house. . Because they ticked it off as completed, we had no idea as to the ETA and to track the delivery. They mentioned it would be another 30 mins and we waited over 50 mins before calling again to find out it was still at the restaurant and would be another 20 mins. I Asked them to add it in the notes to please deliver the food to the front door. After another 40 mins we ended up finding the order dumped at the back garage in the alley way and there was no contact or communication from delivery driver to inform us of delivery. Very disappointed in the service.

Would not recommend!!! The food that came out was lukewarm at best and the food warmers were cold!! The fried rice had a rancid taste to it. The mini spring rolls tasted off. You are expected to eat off paper plates as well. We also ordered a Jack Daniels and Diet Coke and a Kracken and Diet Coke which we watched the waitress free pour the alcohol (definitely under 30mls) and serve coke with it. Then later she proceeded to clean the board behind the food with a dirty cloth and spray. Leaning over the food. Then left the spray cleaner and dirty cloth on the bench in front of the food. Needless to say we will not be returning!

prices have nearly doubled service is disgusting, no deliveries because theyre too cheap to do them and we get different style meals almost every order! Rude on the phone and very very rude tonight on the phone tried to tell us we ordered different meals when I have the receipt for what we got last time saying now its off the menu and it changes cos their chefs change all the time!! She was very very rude eg menulog, doordash etc and the actual restaurant have different menu's you abuse the customer for wanting 'chinese food' or chinese vegies. If i wanted 'aussie vegies' id go to coles and buy them and cook them ourselves! If im paying 20$ a meal then I want 'Chinese' veggies and food not Australian veggies!! Thanks for nothing.

We went for lunch at Tian Tian and the owner greeted us with a big smile! So that was a good first impression We ordered BBQ Honey Pork with Plum Sauce & 2 bowls of rice. The owner told us that it is stir fried with veggies and asked if we’re okay with that. We were asked to sit near the air conditioner as he would turn the heater for us. While waiting he gave us complimentary prawn cracker too! The food arrived quickly and it was good. Chewy pork.. sweet sauce.. the rice was good too. 3/4 way eating the owner asked if we wanted more rice free of charge. That was so nice of him! We also get a whole plate complimentary chips.. 10/10 would visit again!! Thank you for the food!

We purchased a Groupon deal for dinner at TianTian Asian buffet. It was a fantastic deal for any buffet. Dessert was included too. We travelled from Cranbourne West all the way to Lilydale & it was worth the drive. The food is beautifully cooked, tasty, piping hot & well presented. A nice array of icecreams & little cakes which was a lovely way to end the night. If we lived closer I would order a takeaway for delivery. People in & out picking up takeaway the entire evening. That’s when you know it’s good. Thank you TianTian we had a lovely meal. And your wait staff lady was lovely too.

I love the team at Tian Tian it’s a cosy place that caters to all, Danny and the team have really good food everything I’ve eaten I’ve loved , the dim sims they do are really light not like anything normal and really tasty with a really delicate coating I have no idea how they make them but they are a 10 better even than the Vic market dim sims , the place is clean and reasonably priced , the chef is truely amazing the flavors are 5 star quality at a 3 star price. I’m amazed at the value and service I’ve received , I can’t recommend the place highly enough. It’s my local for Chinese in lilydale. I would not go anywhere else.

Good selection of beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, pipis, noodles, dimsum, soup and veggies. Not to forget the prawn crackers ☺️ Very nice icecream! Especially the mango flavour :) We'll definitely come back!

Very disappointing. Booked for 7.45pm session on a Thursday night. There was basically no food left in any of the serveries. Had to ask twice for dishes to be brought out. Hardly got to eat anything after paying $28 for "all you can eat buffet". Told the staff when paying how disappointed we were that there was no food. Was offered the excuse that they were very busy, however, there were only 4 seated tables in the restaurant. Didn't even offer a discount for poor food availability. Don't waste your time and money going to this place.

A few days back I thought I'd treat myself to a healthy dosing of MSG (Chinese Food) from this mob, as I do try to shop locally to support the local community. Unfortunately I found the food inedible, the Singapore noodles had been overdosed with curry powder, it was everywhere, I thought I was eating Indian in the sub continent. The Fried rice was poor, no BBQ pork in it and maybe 4 tiny shrimp which tasted suss. The BBQ pork tasted like fairy floss, way to sweet. If I could give 0 stars I would but stupid google forces me to rate it 1 star, lift your act guys, we need edible and decent Chinese in Lilydale!!!!

Food was delivered 30 minutes later than estimated (a total of 1.5 hours from ordering) - we live less than a kilometre away... so I have no idea why it took so long. I was extra concerned when I called the restaurant, the man told me his driver left "ages ago" When it finally did arrive the food was barely warm. I expressed my concern for the cold food and delay in arrival, to which the delivery man rudley responded with "do you want the food or not". I had to microwave the dishes before we served them... the "special fried rice" wasn't anything special. Overall, not the best experience. Will not recommend.

Food variety is sufficient for that price. Served hot and delicious. Surprisingly they have crab claws as appetizers. Desert is yummy too.

Use to love going here for a meal. Tonight it was a Banquet, food was lukewarm, only 7 customers sitting down the whole time we were there. No turn over of food. Then overcharged at the end, Wont be back unless you can order from a menu . On weekends it might be viable for a banquet but certainly not on a weekend night. Listed on menu as 2 sit down times 5.30 and 7.30pm, are booking was 6.30pm and therefore food was already sitting there for 1 hour.

Just ordered from here for the first and last time... prawn dumplings were undercooked pork dumplings inside was dry and no flavour at all.. got lemon chicken wasnt bad but the rice tasted like it had been sitting there for a week far from fresh also got a honey chicken that also tasted like it was just reheated wouldn't know it was honey as it had no flavour and again the rice with it dry and no taste.. wouldn't waste your money terrible we have almost 2 full meals being thrown out as its unetable.

Been here a few times now and the food is always hot and fresh. Cannot fault, has a great selection and the kids love the ice cream! We were here on Mother’s Day and it was busy with only one waitress that did a phenomenal job, plates were collected quickly and our drinks replenished as required. She made sure we were taken care of in a timely manner despite how busy she was! Job well done!

We enjoyed the buffet dinner immensely with friends! Such a huge variety of food on offer, both entrees and mains. Every dish was cooked to perfection with tender meat, fresh crisp prawns and superb flavours. Dessert were on the western side, but still enjoyable! NEVER order online from this place! Ordered at 6.30 - at 8.15 a driver was assigned and he cancelled because the food wasn’t ready - I phoned and was told it was now ready, another driver was assigned and he waited 15 minutes to be able to pick it up! I rang again and was put on hold then hung up on, rang again and hung up on repeatedly. Terrible customer service, food has now arrived cold and gross and chicken chewy!

Went here for a family meal for 6 people. The entrees all came out at different times, with one entree coming out at least 15 minutes after everyone else had finished. Then they proceeded to bring out the main courses, whilst entree was still being eaten. The main courses were also brought out at different times with the last course served after everyone else had finished. Food was good, but service was appalling

So disappointed TianTian I ordered my meal and asked for the meat to be removed. After receiving my meal with meat I called to express my concern and they blatantly said, “unless you have an allergy to it we will not honer it! We’re to busy.” I was so disappointed as I’ve eaten here many of times, will not be returning after that

I ordered my usual take away and instead of getting the great cantonese Fillet Steak we got beef not fillet steak BUT stipes of beef taste a lot different and the sauce although tasted ok it tightened my husbands breathing and I no they have new chefs but it isn't working sorry the owner is loverly but if I complain staff make out new recipe's or we are just complaining sorry

I was very disappointed with the quality of food and delivery estimates, we ordered at 6:20 with a delivery time of 7:30 and it didn't arrive until 8:15 and when we called at 7:30 the restaurant said it was only 10-20 minutes away, further, the two cokes we paid for did not come at all. The lemon chicken was soggy and the chicken and corn soup arrived lukewarm.

Ordered takeaway spring rolls, dumplings and satay chicken noodles, and I was so disappointed. The spring rolls were flavoursome, but two very small rolls for $5 was very overpriced. The dumpling pastry was very under-cooked. The satay noodles were ok, very flavoursome, but again the noodles were under-cooked. I will not be going back.

I had ordered the twin pack, the soup was watery, the fried rice had no flavour, meat and veg was out of portion (there was rarely any meat), lemon sauce was clearly already pre made considering there was glad wrap on it. I would not recommend unless you want to pay for over priced food that doesn’t meet the expectations you want.

2nd worse chinese ive ever had in my life. I ordered honey chicken and fried rice dinner pack. Chewy big pieces of chicken with dodgy rice that was so gluggy and tasteless. The 'honey' part must have been a dollop of honey mixed with hot water soooo disgusting. I ate it, i was hungry but ill NEVER eat there again. Y.U.K.

Have been going since I was a baby. Food depending on the chef is sometimes good, but over the last many years has been a disappointing experience. Latest simple meal we got takeaway was prompt and ready straight away, but food was exceptionally bland, with the occasional .5cm piece of bacon or meat.

Ordered beef dumplings, kungpao chicken and fried rice with delivery, they tasted great but afterwards I suffered from heavy food poisoning all night long. BEWARE! (to answer the question, I ordered them yesterday, March 24 around lunch time. Still sick while editing the review, unfortunately)

Last meal 2 weeks ago was amazing. Last night was still chicken & veg, and lemon chicken and fried rice, sadly not nice at all. Fried rice cooked in a dirty wok, had black all through it. The chicken & veg full of garlic soy and oilly, and I dont like garlic. Lemon chicken very oilly.

Best all you can eat Chinese we have ever had, plenty of variety and hot and fresh. We have been four times and cannot fault anything, do yourself a favour and get down there for a ripper cheap feed

Don't order online!!! I ordered at 625 for a 730 delivery, rang to follow up at 745 to be told 'the system was down' but the magically had my order now. Then told my order would be another 30-40 mins!! So much for a 730 dinner!!! IF it comes at 830 I hope its worth the wait!

Went on a Friday night. Food was below average, Luke warm, not so tasty and they use msg. Found a bug cooked into the apple pie and staff didn't seem to care. Would strongly recommend to stay away!

Best Chinese restaurant in Lilydale! Highly recommend the Mongolian Lamb. Haven't been for a while and when I went a few nights ago I could not fault the quality of food. The chef is definitely a keeper. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back soon.

I really like there food just it use to be better portion sizes but theve cut down on amount lately for the same price I get things get more expensive but people pay for good things and most times willing pay more if theres more or it's the best they have had

The foods are really nice and have pretty good selection. They even have the dessert and ice cream, too. Mini black forest cake and choc ice cream is the best. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing when I visited. Lovely services from the staff and the owner.

Ordered the Szechwan chicken and flavour was OK and good portion size, but as so often with Chinese restaurants in Oz, it came drowned in sauce which sort of ruined the dish. The search for a good Chinese restaurant in the Croydon-Lilydale area continues.

Food less than average no service corkage fee of $8 more than what the wine cost me then to add insult a charge of $2.58 because I chose to pay by eftpos I'm never going to eat there again

I drive 15 min for great food. I'm always happy with the food at the palace. Been coming here for many years and never had a problem. I love the beef and black bean sauce as its delicate and cooked to perfection.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the ladies at the front counter and not to mention how slow service is! Lemon chicken tasted like it was heated up in a microwave about 3 times before serving it.

We eat here regularly and order take out regularly. The standard of the food is consistently good and reasonable in cost. We are one of many locals who regularly dine in. Well worth visiting.
