Where do I start. Went to buy some kids clothes early in the morning today, no customers in the store. Wait for ages with no nice greeting or apologies for delay. Lady huffs and calls someone over. Must be a supervisor. Lady complains in front of me as if I wasn’t there about being interrupted to serve customers and how much she has to do. Acting supervisor lady reassured her several times but she still went on and on. My thoughts, cant you serve me and wait 2 minutes for me to leave without making me feel bad that I purchased something? Then went to buy shoes. Very busy, lady serving only the 1 customer oblivious to all the customers waiting for service. Obviously can’t multi task. My toddler is trying to tear the place apart and I needed to try different sizes. Waited ages with a line up behind me, so I interrupted the lady who was tunnel visioned to what’s going on and told her politely she needs to call for help. She did. Got the right size but then went to pay and wanted to use u a voucher so asked her to refund what I purchased so I can pay with voucher. I’ve managed retail stores and instructed her what to do. I told her “do 2 seperate transactions”. She ignored me got someone but obviously annoyed as she didn’t want to do it and tried to get out of it. Saying she doesn’t think it’s possible. I knew that was wrong. Told her “of course you can do a refund”. Then more experienced lady comes and tells me it will be 2 seperate transactions , original lady says “yeh I told her that”. I didn’t say anything. Couldn’t be bothered arguing. To shorten this story, if you’re lucky enough to get service it’s bad.

I went in on 18/3/22 to the Dior counter to look at the new Dior Forever matte foundation, and the person who helped me did not have a clue as to what foundation shades and colours are supposed look on a person. I’m an olive-skinned person, and usually you can get away with a shade darker so you can balance it with concealer. She recommended to use a neutral tone for my skin, and couldn’t be more wrong. She could’ve also suggested to go outside of the store to check out my skin under different lighting. I asked for a sample so I can try it out before committing to buying one, she hesitated for a second; she was more focused on a making a sale instead of putting the customer first. She squirted half pump into the sample container, and I wasn’t going to stay there and ask for more. She acted as if she owned the foundation bottle, that it was going to come out of her payslip. I’m sure Dior can afford to give customers a sample or two to try out. I ended up going to David Jones to another sales assistant who was incredibly helpful. I expect to be given an appropriate amount of trial sample before I spend $70+ on a foundation. When I got home, I opened the container to see if I can pour it into the the other container, girl…the sample did not even cover the container itself, there was no way I could’ve gotten anything out of it to cover one cheek. Would Myer rather have me return a used bottle that didn’t match my skin? Or provide an acceptable amount of samples to save the poor staff the headache of an unsatisfied customer?

I recently visited the Eastland Myer store to purchase an outfit, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The two female sales assistants in the men's section miserable or disinterested, they provided no greeting or assistance during the entire 45-minute duration. Even when we decided to make a purchase at the counter, their lack of engagement continued. This level of rudeness was surprising, especially for a reputable store like Myer. In fact, I found this to be the worst customer service I have encountered. It would be beneficial for the store to consider having more enthusiastic and engaged staff. I believe that a positive attitude and willingness to assist could greatly enhance the customer experience. I couldn't help but compare this to my experiences in retail stores in the USA. Whenever I've walked into shops there, whether it's Apple, Sephora, or even Foot Locker, I've been met with exceptional and personalized service. This raises the question of how customers are being treated here and why the brand IS facing challenges - Such as store closures. It is worthwhile to reflect on these aspects and work towards improving the overall customer experience. Staff need replacing on level 1 mens. Terrible.

I don't normally shop at Myer because I believe it is far to expensive for what it is. I decided to check out the men's clothing sales. I do like it that Myer has a big range of clothing. With that said, the sale items stood out well. I didn't have to look for any and the Mark downs were at a great price. I bought 2 Maddox shirts for about $80. The sizing is a little tighter compared to other men's outlets. I'm not complaining, still a great fit. The shirts are %100 cotton and very comfortable. I washed them before I wore them and they didn't shrink. I had to wait for about 5 minutes before I could try them on, that's due to the sales. The only thing I didn't like about the fitting rooms was the curtains. I think there should be a lockable door so no one can accidentally walk in. I will keep my eyes out for more sales.

Unfortunately had quite unhappy experience with Myer online and Myer Eastland. I order something online and it came in completely different thing (100 cheaper). I called custom service, took me 20 minutes to get through. They ask me to go to any store to exchange it to the right one. When I went there, staff was questioning why it happened and don’t know what to do. The staff was trying to help me but I still end up waiting for 1 hour for different discussion and another call to custom service and still not getting my product. They promised to give me a call the following day. Did not receive it so I called the store. Ask me to go in again and to the help desk. There is clearly a mis connection between different department and created so much Trouble for me. Had to rearrange my days and works to went into the store.

On Saturday I had the best experience ever! I thought I would have a browse in Taking Shape, I didn't need anything. I was sooo impressed, not only did they have a huge variety of clothes, some a little different from the boutique but it was 30% of the markdowns too. It was Sam & Lyndal who made it so special, they were interested, they made suggestions, they looked for sizing, Sam run down to the boutique for a size for me. Nothing was too, hard! It wasn't just for me either, every customer was treated the same. It was a pleasure to shop, I ended up with five garments, two of which I would never had tried, let alone bought, if not encouraged by the ladies. Thank you and congrats on the great service. - Caution: If you enter this place even with no intention of buying anything, you’ll end up buying quite a few items due to the way they’ve well organised the shop brand wise and products wise.. haha.. - just love browsing at this place and always grabbing something interesting and worth buying.. - Staff is excellent too.. special mention about a lovely girl called “Saku” at REVIEW brand collection.. she helped me getting the best long winter coat for my wife… - tip: go for the Myer membership and keep redeeming the points in your shopping wisely.. cheers

My review is for the really gorgeous lady that works in the women’s clothing department. Her name is Mahalia and by chance, she’s been working when I’ve been in to purchase clothes for a few special events. Mahalia has gone out of her way to help me find the right size, the right style and overall is just a wonderful and helpful lady! Myer, and in fact any employer, is very lucky to have someone like her working for them. Customer service is second to none, genuinely happy and attentive. Thanks so much! You’re one on a million!

The best phone service i have ever experienced at any Myer store. Karen, in women's accessories was so helpful and friendly. Given past customer service (or lack thereof more likely) from the store, I was dreading having to call to see if there was an item there. Myer Eastland you have the BEST KAREN working for you. I hope this gets passed in to her, because my experience in dealing with her is restoring my faith in returning to the store in the future. I can only share my experience for click and collect as i was picking up my order the staff member wasn't really friendly and the person in front of me was complaining about the wait and lack of service as he was trying to purchase something.. it's always nice if customer service can apologize for the delay if something is taking longer than usual it would of made the customer in front certainly happy and reassured me also otherwise the store was good and my items were received in excellent condition

Myer Eastland is where I do all of my shopping for clothes, high end cookware and men's aftershave. The staff are always extremely helpful. And when Myer has a sale on you had better believe its amazing. I got a $500 full wool suit jacket for $138. The lady at Ferrari formal wear always knows the exact fitting and size I need for an entire suit deal , which includes the pants, shirt and tie. I will always continue to come here. Thank you to all of the staff.

I would have loved to have time to go in & look. Use to live in Melb. Love the new Mall. Toilets I felt for the older people & people with injuries that would struggle to get from 1 side to another . Sitting areas would be good for a rest & waiting. Lovely colours . Great atmosphere . I love Taking Shape was excellent. City chic did not have what I was looking for . Went to DFO Branddmart City chic excellent. Did some damage buys there. Boots. Coats.

Absolutely horrendous service. We waited half an hour for an assistant to come serve us in the shoe area, as all the shoes were unlabelled and needed an assistant to bring them out to you. I went to talk with an assistant who was walking by before they sent me to talk to the checkout counter. I went to the checkout counter, who told me to wait for the assistant in the shoe section area. I would never return, and would rate this 0 stars if I could.

A wonderful shopping experience at this beautiful Shopping Centre that has such a great range of shops to choose from. The parking is easy and the Centre is alive and vibrant. I think it is the best Shopping Centre in the Eastern suburbs due to the ease of parking and the range of shops available. Very compact Shopping Centre that is easy to find what you need with very good choices of outlets. Give this Centre a try as you will be impressed.

I think Myer has taken so many mis-steps over the last five to ten years, they have lost an identity in the retail landscape. Their only real value proposition is that they have a footprint and occasional worthwhile sales. It is a shadow of its former self and is a beacon of lost opportunity. Customer service is poor, staffing levels are poor, store layout is poor, product range is adequate, pricing is sometimes acceptable and sometimes poor.

Always a good default, though usually quite pricey. I love coming here around Christmas to check out the Giftorium, but I almost never buy clothes here due to the prices (except perhaps the Dangerfield-branded dresses, which are actually under $100). Also has a very good range of toys and homeware items. Kudos for the recent addition of the cafe. There's also a parent-friendly cafe upstairs with a huge playspace.

Click and collect is terrible from this store. Ordered something days ago and it still shows up as “processing” when I track the order, tried calling several times to figure out if the order will be finalised and ready for pick up or if they are now out of stock because they took so long to pick the items from the shelf - still have not been able to get through to an actual person at the store!

Not enough staff and staff not willing to help each other out. Went to the counter and waited about 20 minutes to be served. I felt sorry for the girl that was behind the desk because she was by herself. She paged for help and no one came. Went out the back to get someone to help her and they refused. There was as least three other staff members I could see around the store moving clothes around.

Staff members at ladies bra station are awesome. I feel for them as there doesn't seem to be many pay stands around and they get quite busy, but still have time to smile and help. Store, on the other hand has changed considerably. No Dangerfield or princess highway sections anymore. Where have the cool brands gone. Bottom level now has exercise and gym clothing, products and equipment.

Special thanks to Karen in the handbag section yesterday afternoon. She was unfailingly pleasant and helpful, in spite of having a queue of eight customers waiting for her assistance. When I commented on how busy she was, she confessed that she had been working ALL DAY WITHOUT A BREAK!!!Very unfair. I hope her assistance can be acknowledged by management in some way. She deserves it.

The mens section at Myer Eastland Ringwood VIC is overpowered with the smells of rotting sewers and bacterial filth coming from the toilets. It made me want to throw up. My brother had to take his son to the male toilets and he returned with these photos showing how disgusting and filthy the toilets are. Explains the smell of rotten mops, sewerage and filth I guess

Knowing i was shopping for a watch as a gift, she took her time informing me about the watch and set it all up for me. Super informative, helpful and genuinely cares about her customers. Horrible customer service. Older lady in the 'intimate apparel' section when I asked where the change rooms were was extremely rude. Was pointed around to different change rooms 3 times, then because there's no lockable door I accidentally walked in on someone changing because there was no attendant. Would give 0 stars if I could

I really enojoyed the caffee on level 3 at eastland. Its great for familys and children. Me and my partner shared curly fries and it was plenty and tasty, well worth the price. Very quick and friendly service, iv been there a few times and cant wait till my son is older so he can play there and have lunch as well. Love it

I really struggled to get service to help with finding the right size of clothes and things. Eventually, someone may have seen us looking lost and disinterested and offered to help even though it wasn’t their section in the store. We left with what we needed and more thanks to them.

The Lancôme counter, is despicable. I wanted to look at the different brushes bet there were only 2 testers that looked like they were 10+years old. Then the lady spoke to me like I had never used mascara in my life, advising me that it wasn’t safe to use testers on your eyes…..duh

Unfortunately the store itself isn’t as good as other Myer’s, and they are constantly doing some sort of pointless reshuffles or renovations to annoy customers. The Cafe deserves 5 stars, but it is a separate business to Myer. I highly recommend the cafe.
