They often run out of vegetarian pies before midday while the warmer is chock full of meat ones? They say "hmmm, yeah they're popular" look vacant and a little put upon. Why not put more in to begin with? Maybe two shelves in instead of half a shelf? Wow. There's an idea! It's not a difficult.

Stopped by the bakery for a pie but they had no stock due to a technical failure. They graciously recommended the Banh Mi up the road. Loved the Banh Mi and returned to the bakery for a sough dough doughnut after. The bakery staff were really friendly and the doughnut was outstanding! More

Heads up for the vegans, I went there because a reviewer said they had amazing vegan croissants but they NO LONGER make them. So I didn't have anything :-( Still, 4 stars because they seem lovely, it smelled really good, and I hope they might do vegan croissants one day again. ❤️❤️ …

Unfortunately, can't comment on the bread although it did look good. The place smelled strongly of stale urine. It's probably possums in the ceiling space but couldn't stomach the thought of eating anything there. And it wasn't just my imagination, my sister commented on it too.

Look at all the olives! A fan of sourdough nread, I this bakery for the first time and was amazed by the taste and smell of the olive/rosemary loaf. It was simply delicious and I had to stop myself from finishing the entire loaf. Great find in the sleepier part of Melbourne.

Stumbled across Natural Tucker today and i’m so glad that I did. The girls instore were so friendly and happy to spend time taking me through the options. We brought the bread and sausage roll home and were so pleased with the home-made taste. I’ll definitely we back again!

Recently, the quality of their pastries has diminished, in flavour pand size. There's also too much concentration on doughnut style choices. As for the hot cross buns, $18 for 6 is a bit much. Bring back the days when buying a scroll was an outstanding eating experience.

One of the oldest sourdough bakeries in Melbourne. A place I go to when I'm after good quality bread. The range of options is wide. They offer small and large size loaves which are perfect for a compact or large household. There are also pastries, pies and honey.

Melbournes Oldest Traditional Sourdough! Been in this amazing location since 1984. Amazing bread, unmatched in melbourne, let alone Australia. Pastries that I can never get enough of and old school house made pies - best in melbourne again.

This bakery has some of the best bread and pies in Melbourne. My respect for them as a business plummeted when I found out they surcharge for CASH. Not even a sign to alert consumers of the situation either. Great products don't give you

Known by the local Melbourne community for over four decades, Natural Tucker's sourdough has really come into it's own. This institution still makes the oh-so-famous list of loaves and now has also successfully taken on the sweet dessert

No kidding, every products they sell are all just AMAZING! They have plenty of choices and vegan friendly! Pies are so DELICIOUS and it doesn't upset my tummy (my tummy is quite sensitive with pies/sausage rolls)! You can taste the real

I know my breads. When it comes to sourdoughs, Natural Ticker in Carlton cannot be beaten. Put your own sweetness or saltiness on a slice of this fair dinkum tucker. And they slice it for you as well!. Grab the pastries for when you go

Macadamia brownie superb. Sourdough bread all are good but the Olive is sensational - a crispy crust with soft bread inside chock full of green and black olives. Best sourdough I have tried. Friendly staff add to the experience.

Incredible bread. I will eat half the loaf straight from the bag without anything on it. Could there be more vegan options than just a chickpea pie? Yes. Do I care, as I munch away on a delicious loaf? Absolutely not.

  • Nea Orelma

The best bakery in the area. My favourite loaf is the baltic rye and their the ciabatta is the best I’ve ever had! Stefanino Paninos uses their bread too. Pricing is reasonable and their service is always excellent.

  • Joshua Heazlewood

Used to be gold standard for wood fired sourdough in Melbourne. Has changed in last 6 months, looks like they are adding yeast. Bread is fine but no better than most other bakeries in the area. It's a real shame.

  • Andrew Webb

Great white sourdough with poppy seeds. Will be back for sure. Slicing a great (simple) bonus... the coffee is fine. *update - the fennel, fig and walnut loaf might be the best tarted-up bread I have ever eaten

  • Thomas

Arrogant rude owner thinks his product is something amazing -mate you mixing flour with yeast you a low profile baker not surgeon so get a bit of manners and stay humble -horrible people More

The best bakery in the north alongside Loafer. I visit almost every week to pick up a spelt loaf and if I can't resist, some pastries. The best thing is they can slice the loaves :)

  • Amy King

Delish! Went in this morning to pick up some bread for breakfast after discovering online the sourdough is vegan. The woman working was so lovely, explained to me ALL

  • Stephen Robarts

It might be a bit late now but my personal favorite for hot cross buns. If you have missed out there sourdough breads are spectacular.

  • Greg Healy

An amazing sourdough bakery. Everything is really delicious - you know you’re getting quality ingredients. Staff are lovely.

  • Kathryn Coller

Great healthy tucker. Seriously good food. Bread was sliced well. Integrity of each loaf... substantial More

LOVE this bakery I’ve been back there for the 3rd time today. Just tried their creamy mushroom pie.

  • Carlos Herrera

The best bread ever. This is the only bread, me and the family can eat with no bloating at all.

  • DELANIE LEATHERBY

Great selection of baked goods. Cakes, pies, artisan breads. Highly recommend.

  • Connor Rice

The olive sourdough loaf is the best thing ever, so versatile and delicious.

  • Mark Gregory
