This park is a hidden gem in the city. It's small in size, but it's packed with charming features and lovely landscapes. The well-manicured gardens and walking paths provide a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The atmosphere make you feel perfect, picnic spot or a relaxing afternoon break. It's the perfect place for a quiet stroll or to just sit and enjoy the beauty of nature. A must-visit for anyone in search of a peaceful, serene, and lovely park experience.

A little spot of beauty and peace amongst the city centre bustle. Perfect spot for some lunch, a smoke or just to sit and enjoy the gorgeous trees and surrounding buildings. The buildings have a very London-esque feel, a lovely little escape in the middle of Leeds. The cherry blossom tree in the centre dedicated to Hiroshima and Nagasaki victims always moves me, it's a beautiful tribute to people so terribly wronged. Overall, if you're looking for peace and prettiness in the middle of Leeds - this is your spot!

Great little park hidden away in the city centre. Usually frequented by the office goers working around there it's also a great place for a little family picnic. There's a Tesco nearby which is great if you run out of food and want something quick. Lots of bins means there's never any rubbish lying around. In terms of parking there are some paid parking spots a few minutes walk away from the park. Also very quiet there as the sound of traffic is muffled by the presence of all the buildings surrounding it.

A beautiful well kept little gem not too far from the centre of Leeds. Clearly popular with people who work and perhaps live close by by. Curious as to how this is funded as my local park (Springhead in Rothwell) is perhaps much better used yet shabby by comparison. So, come on Leeds City Council, you have responsibilities outside of the carbunkle building site that is Leeds city centre and start spending money in areas that have for too long been neglected! We pay council tax too!

A small green lung in the middle of the city, in a beautiful square. We stumbled upon it by accident, thinking there'd be even more buildings to navigate through. We found it on a sunny day, and there were people around playing rugby, catching the sun or just reading. It has a really lovely atmosphere. I can imagine that in the before times, with open cafes, it was also full of picnickers. We went again the next day, and I'm sure it'll become a regular haunt.

This is a beautiful little park with just about the best atmosphere you could hope for if you're looking for an early evening chill session. It's conveniently located across the road from the library (toilets) and there's a Tesco just round the corner for snacks. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because it gets a bit too crowded on sunny weekend afternoons, and the benches are a bit uncomfortable. Apart from that it's damn near perfect.

It's a little bit of peace in the hustle and bustle of Leeds City Centre. Whilst it can be a little busy during the week with office workers and alike on a weekend the square is almost deserted. I would recommend grabbing lunch and wondering over for a sunbathe on the grass or picnic on the benches. Whilst this is heavily used area weekdays it's spotless... However that might be to do with the phenomenal ammount of litter bins provided.

Always find parking here day time/ nighttime. Quickest walking access to city centre shops. Reasonably priced under £5 for 2-3hrs. Avoids a lot of city centre traffic takes you through ring road - one traffic light you’re here.

Picnic area

Park square is a beautiful park in the heart of Leeds. It’s lovely and peaceful despite being very central. The flowers there are beautiful. Park Square had lots of seating and benches and we were able to enjoy the peace and the sunshine. Beautifully stocked and maintained. There are some lovely old and new building surrounding it and you feel a million miles away from the city.

Lovely small park in the city centre. Currently dormant for the winter. There are 4 huge rose beds and a circle in the middle with trees. The rose beds are all pruned ready for spring showing that the gardens are professionally tended too. Park is popular with people having lunch breaks or walking dogs. I’ll be back in the summer to see the flower beds in bloom for sure.

Nice, quiet, square gated park surrounded by offices and businesses. It's very neat and well maintained. There is fixed seating benches but the grass is always nice to sit on in summer and Tesco is on the next street so it's perfect for mini picnics, sunbathing or lunch breaks. I've occasionally seen giant jenga, giant connect4 and table tennis being played here.

Very clean and well kept garden. In fact, there was a person working on the garden when I attended. Beautiful flower beds, well groomed lawns, and beautiful well established trees for shade. The only comment I would have is the bench that was free that I sat on was damaged. Really enjoyed spending some down time here.

It was quite a nice park but there isn't much to do there itself and it's a little small, wouldn't recommend if your after a long walk or something family based but as a nice meeting point it is perfect, nice place to relax and have a chat too if you intend on just sitting somewhere for a while

  • Shredder Chris

A lovely little square, surrounded by elegant buildings and some interesting architecture, tucked away in the middle of Leeds. Even on a spring day before the roses are in bloom it is a sociable spot with groups of people meeting outside making the most of the more relaxed lockdown constraints.

  • Jessica Petegou

  • Daniel Edwards

Such a beautiful place to just sit and think! You have a space of trees, plants and flowers neatly maintained. Plenty of benches to sit down on and the light hum of traffic in the background showing the world still goes by as you sit and chill! Highly recommended to anyone walking by!

  • Brijesh Sonigra

Immaculately kept ground in the heart of Leeds prime Park Square location. It is like a small haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre with good amount of shade, plenty of benches to sit on and beautifully kept flowerbeds. Great to spend a warm summer afternoon at.

  • Helen Connell

There is a beautiful park which is ideal for lunch in warm weather. It felt like an oasis of calm just walking through the spacious park. There are a great many offices in the area and the park provides a great place to wait if you are a little early for an appointment.

  • Rachel Turner

Lovely place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, especially for a lunch break as there are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the park. It's well kept and maintained with nice plants. It's not very big but is massively popular, especially on warm days.

During rosses blooming it is so beautiful place. It is a lot of precious roses which smells nice. Not big area but still kind of eden in crowded city centre. Good to sit and relaxing with cup of tea for a little bit.

  • Gaming Hub UK

Great place to visit and just relax from a days work. I would suggest keeping a bit of security as the place while being very crowded sometimes has that small feeling that something may happen to my belongings
