So it's very difficult to give the post office a 5 star rating because of the disastrous state that they are in. Having said that, the ladies at Pinegowrie did their very best to assist me with a smile on their faces. I don't use postal services if I can avoid it but they assisted me speedily to renew my car license after two unsuccessful attempts at Linden post office due to a sheer unwillingness to help me. The postal service is in a shambles but judging from their interactions with me and other clients in the Post Office at the time, these ladies will do their best to help you despite their limited resources and having their hands tied. Thank you Pinegowrie staff. This rating is not for the South African Postal Services but for you!

Good friendly staff-enormous parking area, clean and well positioned. Like always though, there is so much potential to do many, many things-just a typical example of good talent going to waste! SAPO do something positive and aid the wonderful workers there to be a shining example of excellence. Could be a modern, profitable outlet, but really let down by lack of funding and lack of modernization and technology-still the old hassles of forms and paperwork, will frustrate you every time.

Rude and arrogant staff - they are all useless. There is a reason why they are government employees - they are all just stupid people who lack the mental capacity to do anything better with their lives (smart people generally don't work for the SA gov ). They have the smallest amount of power and exert it on the public who had no influence on them landing up where they are in life - in a rotten organisation that is going nowhere slowly.

There was a very rude white lady that was abrupt the first time I went there, she was just irritated and told me that I dont have the right stuff needed to do my license renewal, I was humble and asking, okay what do I bring, she tells me to read something on a piece of paper regarding licenses. Then the second time I went, it was 8 minutes to closing time and the doors were closed/locked and they refused to let me in.

This branch of SAPO has plenty of parking, air conditioning on the inside, and (almost surprisingly) helpful staff. It's not a terribly busy PO most of the time - though, like most SAPOs, doesn't have a huge number of employees. Still, the wait time isn't generally very long. I would recommend using this branch if you need to do anything at the PO.

Useless they never pick up the phone. Have been calling for months and it has been answered only once on 25/01/2021 and that one time that white lady was unhelpful. Was trying to check if my parcel is there, which was sent to them by customs last year October 2020. But apparently it was not scanned. How useless. I still have not received my parcel.

Terrible service - they continuously hang up the phone - don't think they care about customer service at all - appalling! Unable to track down my parcel for 3 months even though it was last scanned at their branch. And don't fall for the "Leave your number and we'll call you back", haha, that never happens

The Post Office was clean and the staff members were well groomed and polite. There was no long queue, and the service I received from SHIRLEY BOSHOMANE was excellent! She was patient, efficient and caring - I walked out of there with a smile on my face!

been on hold for 5 mins while the gentleman went to check if my parcel arrived from customs. after being on hold some guy started laughing and the phone was cut. tried calling back but stayed engage. tried calling again just rings. Regards Zaheer Haniff

They at least have 3 tills doing licenses and the staff is very friendly. The day I was there the card machines was also working but I suggest that you rather try and have cash on hand just to make your life less stressful at the post office.

Worst service ever. All of them are lazy and has a lot of excuses not to assist. They can close down as there is no service at all. Not friendly. Postal services should be given to somebody that wants to do it. They are useless.

I have been trying call this post office with no luck I know my parcel has been signed into there system on the 24/12/2020 according to the headoffice but how do I know if they are open. Please can we have a contact number

The place needs maintenance but since they are govt owned, one can expect that will never happen. I always renew my car licence here, it takes 5 mins. No issues with collection of international parcels either.

Have no forms for car license renewals, you need to pay someone outside to print them for you. I went home to do online registration rather. Also, very long queues, and slow service.

They never answer the phone which is troubling. Having to physically go into a post office just to check something, especially during a pandemic, is pretty unsafe and inconvenient.

These people find perverse pleasure in locking post boxes that have been paid for. Happened twice in two months.Why? The sooner the government close them down the better.

The ladies working there are super friendly. They have infestructure problems (as all post offices) but they deal with it pretty well. Always with a smile.

Probably the worst place you can go to. All they do is mess you around and drink thier tea. Absolutely useless service. 7 counters for there to be 1 open.

"Manager" would not help with vehicle licensing at 11:37am apparently "the machine stops working at 11:30am". I was the only customer in the place!

Service is good, general area requires a clean up and refurbishment, feels outdated. However the staff are friendly and process requests quickly.

Public post office in good location. Opening hours can be inconsistent but usually open during regular business hours. Adequate parking.
