"Beautiful in the spring with the purple blossoms! There's a cool fountain pad that kids can play in the summer - although it's really close to the busy road so it's not exactly the best place for toddlers to run around"

We enjoyed walking around the park at night. Weather was perfect..people where great...scooters were available with plenty of room to get acquainted with the operation without worry of running over people on accident. This area is well lit and feels safe. We had a super great time playing in the park until 10pm on a Sunday night.
My family and I came for Christmas in the Park. Entrance is free. We had a great time. My grandson enjoyed the lights and displays. They have fun rides and games for kids. There's booths with various types food and drinks ( Hot Chocolate). You can park at the Convention center lot and walk over. There's also Ice skating.
Beautiful in the spring with the purple blossoms! There's a cool fountain pad that kids can play in the summer - although it's really close to the busy road so it's not exactly the best place for toddlers to run around. If you're already in the city, I would go check it out, but don't make a special trip for it.
Had a Blast at The Last Day of Christmas in the Park with my Pops and Family. We drove down from the East Bay Oakland and Hayward. My BabyGurls got to Hangout with their Grandpa. I got to see my Brotha Ray. Life is Good and God is Amazing. I am a very Blessed Man. Peace and Blessings y'all. One
Came down for the San Jose tradition Christmas in the Park. I’ve been coming to Christmas in the Park since I was a child, and have made it a part of my Holiday ritual. Thank you to the volunteers that come out at work in these cold temperatures just to help give a little joy back to our City.
Undoubtedly the best incarnation of this Plaza is Christmas time, when it is made resplendent as Christmas In the Park. A little patch of San Jose, an otherwise mostly non-descript of suburban sprawl, is made cheery and festive. My son's middle school even had a hand in decorating a tree!
We’ve been several times, most recently for Christmas in the Park. Pet and family friendly. We went on a Friday and avoided the weekend crowds. Great fountain/splash pad in the summer. Parking on the edge of the perimeter or nearby lots/garages. Close to many things.
It could be a nice place to relax if there weren't so many homeless people smoking and camping in the park. Basically half of the park was not walkable due to homeless camping. The other side of the park was nice, the decorations were lit during the holidays time.
Christmas in the park was beautiful. There were many Christmas trees by different organizations, schools and companies (we did not know that we could also place a tree there). It was over crowded. There were many street vendors selling food
Since it was very cold, we decided to drive around the park a few times to see tge displays for Christmas. It was as lively as ever, but I did see few more good trucks across the street. Also, did see some carnival rides across the street,
Went there last weekend when getting night. It's really nice to get a walk around, sit on banks or just chilling when there are no stupid(sorry I gotta said that).guys Skating all around.. or many homeless, Im afraid of them, but park is
You have to pay for safe skating. This place looks cool, sounds cool but when is enough going to be enough. Paying extra to skate safe should not be charged for the kids, or teens. I am extremely disappointed. Trying to make the Holidays
Cute little park nestled in downtown San Jose. There's a fair amount of shade here to beat the summer heat along with a small "water park" for the kiddos to run through. One of the most iconic street spots in SJ when it comes to skating.
Just walked through, much nicer than it use to be back in the 90's. Fountain looks like fun for anyone that's hot. Area's always nice for Christmas holiday time.. or music in the park!! Kinda miss San Jose a little...
Overall, pretty nice. Has nice public artwork. There is also an electrical outlet that is open; however, I am not sure if that is only for the duration of the festival that was being held at my time of visitation.
It gets worse every year, There are Christmas trees lined the road, there are decorations, there are people selling things everywhere, There's a lot of smell around, The only good thing was seeing a cop around.
The festive atmosphere comes alive in this place with a medley of beautiful Christmas theme displays, wine tasting and food stalls. Also was witness to a beautiful music display by a children musical choir
Christmas in the Park here is packed with people, but a great experience! As you approach the center of the fedtivities, there are food vendors and toy sellers in droves that you have to walk through.
Maybe have to donate more for a satisfying Christmas in the park event... Vendors are monotonous. Many decotative trees but not so good in the photo. Creepy designs sponsored by
I was there for Dia de Los muertos celebration. The event it's self was beautiful, however, across the street we were being verbally harassed by two guys yelling racial slurs
Christmas in the park was a very nice. Love the Churros and Mexican hot chocolate. The decorated Christmas trees were pretty as well as all of the other holiday displays.
It was glittering all around & people were participating in large numbers for Christmas celebrations. It was a real fun beingbthere, particularly the youngesters.
Christmas at the park was great for families. There are plenty of street vendors for food and unique items to buy. There are plenty of kid rides and stage shows.
Came during some sort of Christmas thing. Kind of a dirty venue with trash and smell of cigarettes. The christmas aspect was nice however.
Great park in the middle of San Jose. Lots of people like to sit, and others play in the fountains. Love walking around it for exercise!
Christmas in the park is back and as beautiful as ever. Small crowds so far, festive and fun. Must see for anyone who loves this season
Christmas in the park 2023 was very busy but it was a great turnout! Limited trash cans and no restrooms so be prepared for that.
We had a great time with family. Nice to celebrate our beautiful heritage last weekend for the Dia De Los Muertos festival.
Was quite empty this Sunday afternoon. Most restaurants were closed. The iconic fountain in the park was also shutdown.
The park is beautiful, there are too many homeless people in the park. A few portable restrooms around the park.
Had a wonderful time at Christmas in the park. Took family from outta town to see what San Jose is about.
Spend Christmas in the park wit the family Martinez. A few pictures wit my girlfriend n her family
I had a great time at Silicon Valley Pride. There was good music, fun, food, and cocktails!
The Plaza always have wonderful events planned. As usual, there was Christmas in the Park.
Neat park area in the middle of the city with foundations and places to sit and relax.
