In response to Flanagan and other Haters. You clearly have nothing going on in your life and may need to look in the mirror - you cant hide in the mirror. but you can hide on social media! Look at how you speak to people before you judge others Thank you massively to everyone else and you're support. During Pandemic - the business has worked hard to accommodate everyone and kept going no matter what. Launching personal attacks is not the answer! Funny how people have time to be very negative and write about it but never praise when they have had a good experience. Throughout pandemic we have been an open door for lonely people and all they want is a Hello and ask them how they are! It’s a shame that some of these people feel that their negative energy should be socially recorded - perhaps they need to spend time looking in the mirror to find the answer! Hiding behind social media is weak! We want all out customers to have a good service and keep the Post office and the business going! It’s the negativity that brings down livelihoods! Be positive stay positive! As for Armatige Biddy! You have very personal issues and to state that young girl is working whilst they hide upstairs is toxic - clearly you need help!

I used the post office one day and in my rush I dropped my bankcard, I rang the shop just before closing time, the owner said he had found my card and would wait for me to come back and collect it even though the shop had closed, I am so grateful, it was very kind and I won’t forget it, the hugest thank you to Roundhay Post Office for going beyond the call of duty, it is really appreciated!!!

Rude staff. Opening hours displayed on the web are completely wrong. Update eight months later: staff are still very rude, but even worse they now allow customers in who are not wearing masks, even though this is illegal. The shop is very narrow, and a man without a mask brushed past me this afternoon. Not only are the staff rude, they are reckless about customers' health and safety.

Never use this as a pick up place for Amazon deliveries. The opening hours displayed by Amazon (and on the Royal Post website) are completely incorrect. The postal office proper - where you can actually pick up your deliveries - is only open (if at all) from 9:00 am to 16:00 or 17:00. So this is really useless as a pick up location for people who work regular hours.

Since giving this post office unsatisfactory review in the past. I decided to go again today, this time my experience was totally different. Staff were just getting on with work on busy Monday morning. A bit more friendlier than last time. May be because of the pandemic I appreciate their work more! Thank you for all your hard work.

If I could award zero stars I would! Awful post office because every single one of the staff are RUDE! And very unhelpful. I dread having to come to this post office for anything. Also, decide to open and close at times that suit them with no regard for customers needs! Save yourself the stress and use another post office.

I've read some of the comments and yes, it's a small space but that's fine. It's a village shop. It's a cute little place and they will serve you at the shop till as well as the post office bit. I'm new to Roundhay and the lovely staff have been very friendly and helpful. I look forward to going in to post my ebay stuff x

I was served by the rudest woman at this post office today. She was very short and inpatient, manners were absolutely non excistant and if I wasn't in a hurry I'd have taken my 3 parcels somewhere else. Disgusting customer service and doesn't deserve a job which is customer facing, wish I'd got her name.

Used this post office for 3 weeks with no problems only to be told today that I couldn't send my parcels despite having the correct value on in stamps. Was asked for my name so he could take a note to warn his other staff Rude and arrogant and a disgrace to the Post Office franchise. …

Got most essentials any one would need quickly if they didn’t have time to go to the shops, owners seem very nice and my experiences with them have been great but one staff member who works in the post office part can be very rude at times, hence the 3 starts.

If I could give zero for this establishment and its staff, I would. Rudest husband and wife team I've ever come across. It's my local post office, but I will travel a further mile for my business from now on just to avoid the insulting behaviour.

Changed hands, later opening means you cant do a parcel run in with the school run, nor collect pension to food shop as early as needed . They leave a young girl in charge (dangerous surely!) while family hides upstairs.

I can not agree with most of negative feedback. I am using this Post Office for the while and never had any problems. Staff is nice and polite (sometimes tired like everybody). A+++ service.

Unfortunately, my review is in general view of others. Absolutely abhorrent social distancing and COVID secure measures put in place. Absolutely horrendous staff, so rude and disgusting.

Useless. They make up the opening hours to suit them and on the rare occasion when it is open, there is a slow moving queue, unsurprisingly.

Fantastic shop! Went there a couple of days ago and the staff where so helpful and friendly and very polite.

The owner is miserable it's not like the olden days when the old post master was friendly
