"I’m a permanent parker at Kings Cross Car Park"
Our dog Molly ran off in fright from there, long story ,too long for now here, but I approached the attendant, asked if he'd seen which entrance she decamped, or could he keep eyes out for movements - CCTV as we searched. He was falsely giving an impression that was of concern and could see panic growing and was going to help as much as able. Nothing could be further to the truth. In the panic worry dumbfounded disbelief I misplaced or lost my ticket, during this time of searching inside out calling whistling etc my girlfriend an I split ourselves into 2 . I later found that Mr Greasy our helpful, most important 3rd,4th/7th set of eyes tried to put some moves on my girlfriend and take advantage. But this I never knew at the time or this review would have been by reporters and police and coroner's. When after about 2hrs of frantic searching in out, up down, surrounding areas, we came to the realization Molly, had gone, and out of character also, and not coming when called, it was bizzar. So I approach our helpful ally with can't find the ticket now either an thanks greatly for your assistance, if she does turn up here's my number etc ta mate! I gets no youll have to pay the lost ticket fee.$40 dollars v $8. I reckon what! An by now my tolerance for even the slightest problem was well past, I was sick of explaining firstly everything x5 to my girl ,then each passerby x2_ a black dog this big pach here etc. Anyway I state my case and the argument for. He won't cop it. So then I turn nasty. It could just of $1easily led to violence, ultra, nasty sheer mindless wanton violence. Bad bad outcome! I swore I wouldn't pay on principle ,I was getting the car and driving straight our! My girlfriend stayed at the office, and even though I told her not to paid, with a $100 note.all we had other than that wasn't $40/ so when I get to the exit gate jump out to pull the boon from its axis she won't get in cos he won't give the change! This my tip off point. I go animal like start hissing and growling , going MAD! He sees the better of the change a just in time gives it to her. We leave hot bothered angry twisted bitter bewildered an no Molly..
I was delighted that SecureParking offers $17 early bird parking if you enter before 9am and exit after 3pm. The big signs showed as in the pictures; 1. Monday to Friday only 2 Entry between 6am and 9am 3 Exit between 3pm and 7pm 4.Validate your ticket on B1 5. Park on level B1 only But it didn't mention ONLY if you validate UPON entry at a small box. I purposely arrived early and parked on basement 1 (B1) as instructed, the time-stamped 7.02.55AM on my receipt. However, I was told that I need to pay $40 when I came to validate and pick up my car at 4pm. I felt been tricked as it didn't mention on those main big boards. The staff showed me a small A-frame sign hidden behind a box that has a small line at the bottom! I am asking for a refund in difference $40 - $17 = $23 or give me a credit. And I suggest that Secure Park make it clear on those mainboards. KINGS CROSS CAR PARK 9a Elizabeth Bay Road, Elizabeth Bay Entry via Ward Avenue.
The parking facility is very handy and decent quality. Was a good find in the kings cross area that had proximity to the train station to be able to enter the city easily and there were plenty of parks available. The overnight rate on a saturday was $15 which was a pretty fair rate. Only issue was on departure we paid at the machine near the entrance but were made to pay a second time to get out because too much time had elapsed since first payment. This was silly because the overnight flat rate gave us parking for another 7 hours. I'd recommend to others to pay at the gate rather than the machine for this reason and also suggest to Wilson parking to enhance the logic on the machines for such use cases. Otherwise an excellent parking facility!
Watch out and make sure to set a timer if you intend on staying an hour or less. I was 3 minutes over an hour and I got slugged the full weekend rate of $15. Bar the fact that this place does not sign the electric car chargers at all and I had to spend 10 minutes looking for the things, one charger did not work when I got there. They will get you in this place. Parking attendant is obviously tired of telling people the same thing over and over again. Would try street parking over this place as management is terrible. Not parking attendants fault, this is all on the private company that manages it. Shame on Sydney City council for using this company.
I’m a permanent parker at Kings Cross Car Park. Earlier this month I returned from holiday with a suitcase and other bags, parked on level 2 and found both lifts were out of order. I climbed the stairs with my shopping bags and found Mario, the car park attendant, who was so helpful when I explained my situation, I was feeling unwell and he not only took my shopping back to my car but found a place for me to park on the ground floor so I could easily take my things out of my car without using the stairs. Thank you, Mario for making a difficult situation easy. That’s customer service!
Cost me $80 to park overnight despite the $15 weekend flat rate. Would rather park illegally than deal with this carpark again. In response to the owner who has stated "To be eligible for $15.00 weekend flat rate, you are required to enter after 6.00am, and exit before 6.00pm," please amend your sign out the front, it currently reads "$15 weekend flat rate" and does not stipulate your requirement which makes no sense. I would encourage everyone who is considering using this carpark to try any other possible alternative.
I love Secure Parking's Kings Cross station!. Overnight street parking, especially for non permit holders, is almost impossible in this part of Sydney so it is great that there is a 24 hour parking station right in the heart of "the Cross". I visit a relative who lives nearby on a semi regular basis, and always park in this station. It's near the cop shop too. Expensive, yeah, but I'm happy to pay for the security, convenience, and peace of mind the Secure station provides where my car is concerned.
Be very careful if using this car park ongoing. I have been chasing my deposit for almost four months! no response apart from service managers forwarding my email on to a team who seem to not action it nor provide an update. I have been copied in to many email trails with group email addresses prompting the deposit to be issued to me however it is never processed. Use my experience as a warning and perhaps try another carpark nearby instead!
Called in advance to ask if they do weekend flat rate on public holidays, was advised they do. When I put the ticket in at the paystation it charged me standard rates - of course I called back the same number and they advised they don't have weekend rates on public holidays after all. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake they insisted I pay the full rate. Felt like being scammed.
Good location, but if you enter at 5.55pm first hour is not free, you pay hourly for entire stay even though it's night parking at 6pm onwards (flat rate $15) it's still billed hourly. Sign says first hour free, so don't make the same mistake I made! From 5.55pm you pay hourly as long as you are there and it won't adjust into flat rate.
Misleading, night Weekend rate states $15 when I went to pay I was charged $80 because I left the car overnight nowhere does it state on their site or boards this charge every other parking lot charges double the night Weekend rate when keeping their car overnight on the weekend. Beware
Easy to navigate car park even for larger cars and SUVs with wide lanes and ramps. Good location for Potts Point and Kings Cross dining. Located behind the fountain park. Rates are pretty good too. The first couple of levels are for reserved spots. Lift access to all five levels
Secure Parking - Kings Cross Car Park is a great place to park when one is visiting the East End of Sydney CBD. I've parked there many times and they have good rates, plenty of spots and it's easy to locate and more. Well run too with top staff!
We parked for weekend rate of 15$ a day and we stayed for a night. Expecting to only pay $30, we were very surprised and disgusted when we recieved an $80 bill. Read the fine print, and the sign is very misleading
Clean but needs more lighting on the lower floors as the parking is very close together and difficult to navigate directions to lifts and stairs and exit signs due to poor locations and in low lighting
Can't believe they put such a robot heartless people to work for Sydney council and those misleading advertisements to lure people to park for $15 but ended up paying $40 such a dirty business game!!!!
Great location! $15 night rate on the Friday when I went which was a good price! It's always been the best option rather than driving around for half an hour for a parking on the street.
Its a little pricey (better than others though) but its open 24 hours and is 5 stories high so you'll ALWAYS find a spot. Entrance is off Elizabeth Bay Road
Not a huge parking development but well located for good access to Kings Cross and Potts Point. Could be cheaper but you are paying for location.
Parking here while staying in Macleay street Potts Point was very convenient. We purchased tickets from our accommodation. $30 per day.
Good location and pretty easy to navigate. Fair cost. The only thing i could suggest is a sign out the front to say available parking.
Beware of their weekend rates. Discount is only up till 6pm before hourly rates kick in. Many have been stung by the fine print.
I was surprised that this place existed so close to Kings Cross - and it has a flat rate of just $15 on the weekend.
Great service. Very convenient. Any probs see Harry at the window! He'll help you. Thoroughly recommended …
Misleading 'Weekend rate' of $15... see the fine print, it only applies if you enter after 6am&leave before 6pm.
In what world is 6am to 6pm a weekend flat rate. This is obviously set strategy to scam you out of your money
Easy and local, but quite pricey at night. That said if you can't find a nearby park, it does the trick.
Well run. You can't pay with a credit card (NFC) at the exit gate, you have to use the ticket machine.
Great easy parking when visiting Kings Cross especially after dark when street parking is taken up
Got scammed by the “must validate ticket” and had to pay full price. Careful of the fine print.
Way too expensive! $75 to park our car for one day? Forget it! We found a spot on the street.
Met Rosemary an awesome Lady at the counter. Guided us what to see in Sydney in a few hours.
24 hour access and reasonable prices for overnight parking (6pm - 6am) in central Sydney.
Good location, good spot spaces but a bit tricky to find your car when you come back!
Fun to see cars parked in there that have spider webs attached to the ceiling! …
Have to repair car at 6am in the morning on Saturday morning to get the weekend deal
It's a parking station. Leave your car, retrieve it later, for a small fee.
Great location and decent price in the very hard to park Kings Cross area.
Good location with ZipBy ticketless parking. Download app before arriving.
Excellent for those, who drive an electric car and need to charge it!
Perfect location, nice and clean, well lit area, felt very safe.
This carpark is 24/7. It's improving. Keep up the hood work
Recycling and electric vehicle spots in addition to a park!
I'm still parked here. I hope it won't be too expensive
He hated all this, and somehow he couldn't get away
Conveniently located car park and not too expensive
Conveniently located, $15 on weekends, reasonable
Because it's almost impossible parking in the X!
They had a spot. I had a car. It was meant to be
Too many permanent and not enough daily parking
Good location. OK price considering location.
A bit pricy, alway avalible patking, big lots
80$ for an overnight stay. What a robbery.
Park here frequently. Good rates. Secure.
Spacious Not too close to centre kings x
Entrance is difficult from the east side
Although hard to find was easy to park
It's a great carpark we use it often
