Parking lot
"Probably the most expensive car park in the world (as of 23 Oct 2022), if there's such a tally! Pros: Clean"
"Have parked here three times over the past month"
"This is the worst experience I've ever had hands down"
"Don't park at Secure Parking - if you stay over by 15min, you have to pay for the time at full casual rate if you got an online rate - ended up paying nearly 3 times the initial parking fee just for 25min over"
"Really bad set up"
Probably the most expensive car park in the world (as of 23 Oct 2022), if there's such a tally! Pros: Clean. Really praise the lift waiting area has automatic sliding glass door (double side) full partition to block of (if any) unhealthy car exhaust. 3 lifts are so well kept way better than Parliament House and NSW Health office buildings. 2.1m clearance Cons: EXPENSIVE $$$$$. Quite narrow, when there's an oncoming car, either car needs to stop to give way (especially around the curves/turns). DON'T accept cash payment. (Suggestion: Secure Parking may consider changing their self-service pay station machines to accept 18K gold coins for the parking fees they charge.) I wonder where the power for those charging stations come from. Solar panels on Fullerton Hotel's rooftop? Better NOT from the grid. Value for money: ❌❌❌ (maybe except to the hotel patrons. BTW, the car park lifts Ground floor locate outside of the hotel but very well covered for wet weather. Not sure if the hotel has internal access to car park lifts at other level/site.) Many Many other car parks with much better parking rate very close nearby!
Have parked here three times over the past month. All booked for early bird parking on a Wednesday. No issues in finding a park. Easy access to lifts that are quick. So far, so good. I'll keep using. Yes, prices have gone back up now people are coming back to the city but I guess that is to be expected. Update: Spaces for early bird parking now seem to have been limited, and now need to be booked weeks in advance rather than a day or two like I was. So the convenience of booking a park when I know I'll be working in the city only a day or two beforehand has gone. I'll be going back to the Domain carpark. It's only 700m away, the walk will do me good, there's always plenty of parks, and its $22 for early bird parking including booking fees. So cheap.
This is the worst experience I've ever had hands down. First off, 30 dollars for the first half and hour, and 20 bucks for the next! Insane. Somehow forgetting about the astronomical fees, you are required to pay at the only pay stations in the whole place, on one floor. There is no cash accepted. You can pay wave either. If you're lucky, your card will be accepted. If you dont have a physical credit card that the machine accepts, then the person behind the help button will just tell you to call the emergency line and manually pay for your parking. We were on hold for 10 minuted before the line just went dead. Don't ever, ever, ever park here. Ever.
Don't park at Secure Parking - if you stay over by 15min, you have to pay for the time at full casual rate if you got an online rate - ended up paying nearly 3 times the initial parking fee just for 25min over. Wilson Parking has grace period of up to 1hr over stay free and good customer service - and Wilson Parking try their best to look after you. Secure Parking customer service not helpful - just greedy money grabbers.
Really bad set up. The drive down to the bowels of hell to find a spot, and the drive back to the gate. I timed my drive and it took 3 minutes just to get near the gate. And then waiting in line to get out because there are no tickets and everyone is trying to get their phone. Went over the hour by 1 minute and got charged the $30 extra. Emailed them a complaint afterwards and was ignored, no response after a month.
The keep spamming me with SMSes even though I don't use their service. After complaining to their support, they said they'd stop sending me messages, and I *still* got another one just then. The fact they send these SMSes without having verified the phone number is disgraceful, and should be illegal. Oh wait - it is illegal!
Quite expensive but a very spacious carpark. Only issue is trying to leave during peak hour from 5pm as its one lane thats banked up and so many pedestrians in the way unable to exit carpark (allow at least 15mins to exit if leaving at 5pm) otherwise very clean carpark and quite secure.
Overall a clean well laid out Carpark. Most of the upper floors are reserved so you end up having to go deep into the dungeon to find a space. The payment machine also doesn't take phone payments so you have to go to the payments office.
Worst parking garage in Sydney. I got stuck because they don’t accept cash or Pay wave. It’s almost impossible to pay for parking ticket unless you have your physical card.
A bit pricey but very convenient.
