they have sales posted to a certain date. I needed a specific product, that was of the intimate nature. guess what, it was only till 2pm. the product I needed, was double the sales price, if not more. I asked, about this and sucks to be me. they said. so if you have to double the price. why on feminine hygiene products? sorry, lost me as a customer. for good. your staff all knew what I needed. but I got there after 2pm. the new flyer, not til the next day. so why stop at 2pm MDT? it caused me to totally run out of money, on what I ended having to pay for, yes, feminine hygiene products. so. I cannot afford food, juice. on top I got food poisoning on Sunday and now have 40°c temps. I need juices and stuff and am dehydrated and nauseated. and can't afford til next week pay day. over a week. 8 days of nothing to help me. my doctor and new pharmacy gave me Pedialyte for my issue. shoppers drug Mart would never do that. ever. especially on 101 str. both owned by the same Lady. she's rich I am sure edit: customer service representative corrected my issues and made good on the sale prices
Either they need to train their staff efficiently or else stop ignoring the line ups. I had a lady helping me with the returns, in spite of me requesting her to let me use the card for a refund, she was denying because the card number didn’t match the number on a receipt. I as a customer told her that if its not the same card it would automatically decline, but she was like no it will go back on this card thats why we need to see it first. Later her senior came and told her that the number differs because i might have used the tap, which was the case. This whole thing caused a line up behind and i asked cashier to help the lady behind me first and she said no its okay. After that she forgot to have me sign the receipt and called me back, which made that lady in a line so mad that I had to say sorry to her and she for some reason got mad at me. I mean those other workers who clearly saw that the cashier was struggling and there was the line up they could have hopped on to one of the tills. But no they chose to ignore the entire situation.
If you've ever wondered what it's like to be treated as if you were homeless, this Shoppers is for you! I bought a charging cable there and an actual helpful associate unlocked it for me and helped me check out. He told me I could return it in case it didn't meet my needs. Nice! Lo and behold, tried it and I had messed up. It didn't work for my computer setup. I went back to return it and the associate — with a nice smile — told me she was sorry but they have a no return policy. I told her that I was told otherwise. After talking to her supervisor, the answer was the same. Then security came over (three of them) because I allegedly was harassing the cashier. After I kept demanding my money back, they got in touch with the manager who finally okay my refund. Wasted 15 minutes of my life for nothing. I do not intend to step foot here again.
I work in the Oxford tower so coming to this Shoppers Drug Mart location is convenient, it’s right next door. Shoppers Drug Mart is owed by Loblaws which is Superstore so all the same stuff is here but at a better price at Superstore. So use this store sparingly and get better prices at Superstore. Are they overpriced, yes but if you watch for the sales and use the Optimum loyalty card you will get good prices and collect a lot of points that can be used to buy things in the store or at Superstore. When staff is available they are friendly and courteous. Since this store is in the Edmonton City Centre Mall there is no washrooms in the store. There is 2 floors of store and entrances inside and outside. I guess the store is like a really large 7-11 a convenience store with a pharmacy.
I generally have a great experience with the staff at this location. They are always quite friendly and helpful. Athena in the cosmetics department is a delight! She offers prompt assistance and is friendly while keeping a light presence but not hovering. Update few days later: beauty manager Erinn is so awesome as well. She made some great product reccomendations that I am super happy with and was prompt to refund me the next day when I was accidentally charged twice for something and even added in a little free gift:) The cosmetics department here is overall a win. City centre sucks to work in so props to all of y'all ❤️
Grabbed items from three for 5 aisle. Went to the cashier. Showed up $2.19 per items. asked the staff. The staff went to ask another staff. And another staff came to grab the item to the back. I showed them where I picked up the items. A staff came out told me oh those are $2.19 as priced on the screen… they spent 15mins to find out something that the self-checkout already told me. Staffs are clueless and undertrained here. I’m not looking for price check I’m looking for the explanation of why there is a discrepancy from the tag and the check out screen…
Beautiful place to stroll around and shop in Brewery and Unity Square. I love Shoppers. I love this store and the staff but there is a huge need for restricted security. Each time I went shopping there was an angry person shoplifting. Just scary all the way to the lanes . This area is beautiful I love to walk around but I get hesitant other times because it's when the standbys are showing up.
Haven't had such great vaccine experiences in a very long time. One in each arm, hardly any pain even in the worst one as I'd predicted, and very little pain going into the skin. Highly recommend if you don't like needles. And I have fibromyalgia so this is an extra star.
They are selling chocolate that’s broken It doesn’t taste like normal cholocate Moreover they said it normal You can even see there are some problems on it….so horrible Worst customer service ever
