"Oldest Church in Leeds founded in the year 1579 built in 1632 AD located in the quiet place with scenic beauty, memorable building for citizens of Leeds"
The oldest church in Leeds city centre. Built in 1632-34 English civil war?. Normally it is open for a few hours on Saturday. But I attended a Christmas carol service and that is why I can sit the church inside and see outside with light in darkness. I think the church is quite well maintained and it should be not just preserved but also utilised. Think about it. The location of this church is excellent for Leeds residents and tourists. A must go for the history of Leeds. An oasis for spiritual rest among such a busy city.

The park is pleasant, but the C17 church interior alone is worth the visit to Leeds. Particular highlights are the wonderful screen and the plaster ceiling. But note that it is a redundant church and is not open very often (11am-1pm on Fridays as of February 2020), thanks to volunteers.
A very lovely quiet place with incredible scene during sunny days. Located in Leeds city centre and not difficult to find. During the year sometimes there will be some events within the park around the church, such as Leeds Light Night. Nice place to relax alone or with friends.
A well run and beautiful exhibition for light night leeds. This was one of the quieter ones so we could easily access it even with our son in his pushchair. Such a beautiful church!

Beautiful old church, dating to the 1630s. Only open for visits on Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm, but well worth a look of you can get in.
To be clear this is more about the gardens which are a nice sun trap in the middle of Leeds. Good spot to have lunch and chill out.
A nice looking church - be careful when walking around it when it has been raining the ground can be incredibly slippery.
A beautiful old church with charm and beauty, and a place of prayer and stillness in a bustling city.
I loved this place long time before. Then everything was different but that always full of people
Lovely quiet place to sit, relax and discover the church architecture and its grounds
Lovely little spot especially when the sun's out. A little gem in the centre of town
Really building over 100 years old and nice gardens to sit in the summer months
If its a church and it's a place of worship for the Lord = instant 5 stars.
