Subway in Melbourne CBD, the Swanston St, I bought a foot long sub with roast beef on the way home around 8pm. I buy here regularly, everything is normal, except this time. 1. Rude staff attitude: The staff is still new I think. But her attitude was so rude, she just threw all the veggies in the bread, instead of putting everything properly. She did it with one hand. My food looked like a mess. I paid for food, not begging her for food. 2. Trying to cut out food: This place tries to cut out the meets and veggies as much as possible right in front of customer. Usually, I would get 5 slices of roast beef in a foot long sub, however the staff cheated. She places only 3 slices of beef, veggies is so less, but a lot of of jalapenoes. So this place tries to get me spicy. For what? When she fills the sauce, the sweet chilli sauce runs out, but she wasn't not bothered to refill and put more for customer. End up, I got no sweet chilli sauce. 3. Trying to overcharge customers: I ordered a roast beef which costs only $12. She tries to charge me with $12.95. I had to argue with her, she couldn't do anything, so she had to put back the exact price. So when fast food chain like subway becomes a place where customer has to beg for food and customer services? I never go back again. The owner just focuses on making money, doesn't care about customer service or how staff treat the customer. Just another complaint, probably this doesn't go everywhere.

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. For starters they had no interest in helping me. basically ripped open the bread roll. Without even checking just told me there were no more meatballs. Didn’t even spread out the ham slices so the middle of my sandwich was hamless. Got about 3.5 pieces of cheese. Didn’t even ask if I wanted it toasted or not, just put it straight in the toaster. Got about half a handful of lettuce, strangely went ham with the tomatoes. Got LITERALLY 4 slices of cucumber and 5 PEICES of spinach. I asked for lots of olives and as you can tell from the photo I got about 12. Capsicum is barely even there. Wasn’t shy with the sauce though, got plenty of that. And what kind of maniac cuts a subway BEFORE THEY CLOSE IT. He didn’t even close the sandwich after it. He just CUT IT WHILE IT WAS OPEN and then rolled it up. Didn’t say a single word to me the entire time. Not even when paying. Just pressed buttons on the screen and walked away. The dining area was a mess too. Looked like it hadn’t been wiped down all day. If I could give you a 0, I would. But I can’t, so I give you a 1.

The indians here are flithy, they don’t change gloves after handling money but the go and make the next sub. The indian guys are abusive and smartasses that will talk over you by asking what you want instead of listening to what you want or answering what you asked, the manager is just as bad because he doesn’t train his staff to treat their customers respectfully but he tells thw cunstomer to tell him if there is any trouble and argues with you. It is much better to walk to another subway because there are so many in the Melbourne CBD. Absolutely disgraceful this subway

It's Subway, the name should be enough! It was 8 PM, and it was too early to have dinner but I was hungry. Subway came to my rescue. I ordered a Meatball Melt - Subway 6-inch with all the assortments @ $8.95 through their app. The food was ready when I reached and I happily gobbled it up. Of course it was good. I enjoyed every morsel of it; didn't expect any less from Subway.

Fast service, however very messy and no care taken. First they did not have the rye rolls. Second after the staff put in the meat and let it go, it rolled over spilling the meat onto the paper which soaked it. They didn’t replace the paper at all and continued like nothing went wrong. When I received my sandwich, it was soggy and the meat and sauce was everywhere with half of the fillings falling out. There was also a hair inside.

Quite possibly one of the worst Subway stores I’ve been to. The staff are rude, messy and do not take any care when making sandwiches. I ordered a veggie delite which is all salad and they skimped on the main ingredient, the veggies. Basically paying top dollar for bread at this point. Get your act together and learn some customer service skills too.

Just come in here for a quick sandwich. The guy who appears to be the manager is very tense and comes across as aggressive. Not a very peaceful atmosphere for customers. He was also talking to his staff very aggressively, scalding & condescending them infront of customers. I felt really sorry for them. Shoutout to the guy who looks fairly new wearing the green uniform with long ish hair. Ignore ur nasty manager & keep doing you. You did a really good job of making my sandwich x

The staff was very rude. I asked him to add avocado while he added vegetables. Without answering, he threw the spoon as if he was offended. I feel like I'm being scolded even i paid for the food. He doesn't deserve one star and would like to give it a zero if possible. Worst subway I've ever eaten. I cant understand why he works in there. He’d better to learn how to work and treat customers.

0/5 A homeless person was convulsing and throwing up at the front of the store, when the store owner and worker were asked to call an ambulance they replied "No, he is here everyday and maybe this will make him go away" alluding to the hope of his death. also this was actually the sloppiest and most disgusting textured turkey sandwich i have ever eaten. would boycott, these people and the food suck. there is another subway less then a block away.

Rude or perhaps doesn’t know how to human interaction came in ready to order, they clearly see me but proceeded to ignore. While making my order the girl said with small volume as if any louder and she would be in big trouble. Relax guys, they aren’t rude, just extremely introverted

Worst subway Ive ever been to. The staff were rude and complained when i asked for my sub to be made a specific way and when I finally got to eat the sub it tasted like garbage. The veggies tasted off, I couldnt even finish it. And when i told them what a terrible job they did they had the audacity to thank me. I will never be going back to this subway. I wish i asked for my money back so they got the point.

Worse subway in Melbourne by far, avoid this place! I have been here twice in the past year and the workers are always rude, went last sunday, bread was rock solid hard, chicken was cold And one last thing that they should talk about is changing gloves after every sub (which they didn’t, bad hygiene) I worked at subway for a few years, there’s a better subway around the corner don’t go to this one.

I ordered a chicken teriyaki salad from app and pick up in store. I required all salad, only without Jalapeño. Once I opened it, the amount of ingredients are ridiculously small portion, which never happened to me when I got from others subway shop. Haven't said that, there are full of sauces around the salad box, and it is not hygienic at all! Truly disappointed and I will never return!

I bought a Sub here a coupe of days ago. The place had just been cleaned when I came here, so it was pretty clean. The service was okay, not much to write home about. Although I have seen mixed experiences with them (when I have been with friends). The sub was well-portioned, exactly as expected. Overall, this branch is okay. I would come back if I was in the area.

The subway was good last year (I guess it was under different management), but now, the staff working there are rude and messy. I have been to subway restaurant where the packing is neat and they seldom spill the food , over here it is just the opposite - messy. I do not recommend this subway to anyone.

don’t go when it’s busy, they don’t take the time to make sure your sub is packed nicely and rush through the process, wich just ends up leaving you with a disappointing tasting sub in the end. never had a problem with subway until i went to this one.

I visited the place at 2:05 pm and was hardly busy at all. I entered the store and unlike any other subway, thete was no greeting. The man serving me had the worst attitude ever. No smile and being just rude. I wonder how have they been hired. The place was clean and tidy but the staff behavior just annoyed me.

Stale bread for $9.45. I just got served stale bread. They didn't even ask which bread I wanted today- which I thought was no issue- but to serve bread that was off? It was hard as rock and quite cold after toasting. Never had this issue at any other Subway previously, Plus unfriendly staff to top it up today.

I asked for a ham cheese and tomato jaffle and the worker kept asking me what I want on it and I kept saying ham cheese and tomato jaffle but they didn’t seem to understand even tho it is on their menu. They didn’t even know what the jaffle machine was

A very convenient location in a busy area for a Subway. There is seating, although limited and right now is closed during the COVID lockdown. They prepare the meals quickly and as well as expected, although service is often lacking a personal touch in these busy areas and this was the case here too

Very good customer service by one of the Indian guy, name Paramjeet , I am vegetarian, so I have ordered vegi delite, but even I forget to tell him about changing hand glows, but he take care about that, and while making my subway he change glows twice, I really appreciate that guys work

As per subway order u can’t accept only bread in footlong order ,,, I ordered here sub footlong they give me only. Bread nothing in the order …, ya u can see only some sauce and little bit toppings. I never recommend to choose this if u are hungry

Vegies and meat are mixed well here, so vegetarians avoid this place. when you ask the serving person to change gloves after touching meat, they get upset and behave rudely. The Indian guy who serves with his left hand is the worst, rude, arguementative. Avoid this subway.

Subway in general is hit and miss on the freshness of the ingredients. So far this one has been ok. There is ample seating. The staff aren't really friendly, but they get the job done. Not a long wait time, even in peak lunch. It's ok.

A great place to eat fresh. I visited the shop, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Tables are clean. The purchase price will depend on the location. So it was more, than I would pay on the Gold Coast.

Just outside Melbourne central and opposite the state library. Best place to get your subs. Place has plenty of space to sit and dine Sweet staff.

Not buying it again, I got a Meatball sub, and the taste of the meat was just tasteless, not buying it again. My favourite option is the Cookies
