Don’t click and collect at Target Chirnside, pay the money, get it delivered and save yourself the frustration. Friday 20/5/22 I called the store to see if I could get the click and collect brought out to the car park delivery point because it was a massive order of birthday presents for both my toddlers and I wouldn’t be able to fit it all in the the trolley with two toddlers.. Lisa, the lady I spoke with said they don’t do that and that she couldn’t cancel the order for me when I asked her too. That’s fine, they have rules or what every but just not helpful. because I couldn’t physically collect the order, there needs to be some other form of collection, during the lockdowns they managed to come up with a solution and everywhere else still implicates these upgrades. I contacted customer service and honestly got so frustrated. They never replied to my email, I then had to call and then another email to get it fixed. It should’ve taken one email or just a better click and collect process.
I generally prefer to shop at Target then Kmart for quality and service especially at Target Eastland. I really appreciate their excellent customer service, the staff are lovely and helpful. I wish I can say the same for Chirnside Park Target staff. Some young staff are lovely and friendly. I can't say the same for some older ladies there. The click & collect lady named Di had served me twice. Once, she didn't greet, didn't respond when I said "Hi" and handed in the parcel without say anything. Even after I said "Thank you". and Today, I picked up the click&collect again and she threw the parcel on the counter and said nothing. It's not really hard to smile, say "Hi" and "thank you" and engaging to customers when you are working in customer service.
I like Target as a brand and the staff are friendly, but this particular store looks very tired, dated and in desperate need of a makeover. It is most apparent when you compare this store to say Eastland, Glen Waverley or Forest Hill: MUCH less range of stock, worn carpets, dingey lighting, drab appearance. It honestly almost feels like an old school Dimmey's store or Target Country store back in the day: very run down. People shouldn't have to experience a lesser branch just because of where they live. Drive an extra 10 minutes up the road and go to the Eastland branch instead.
Appalling customer service I had a catch order that they failed to give me with my click and collect order when I previously came in on the weekend. Diane who served me today was very argumentative and she wouldn’t let me leave my box/packaging behind (catch box). I had a 11 month old with a pram Diane could clearly see that I couldn’t carry the box. I ended up just leaving the box there and she continued to yell at me saying that I couldn’t, when previously when I’ve collected things younger staff members have let me leave the box/packaging behind.
This place smelt absolutely revolting for over 2 weeks. I ended up complaining and got told that the carpets had been steam cleaned 2 weeks ago and was trying to dry. So in the mean time while they are still drying out, we have to breath in the constant smell of dirty wet dog/wet towels that you forgot were in a bag after going to the pool or beach for a week and have gone musty. Disgraceful and very unhygienic. I feel sorry for the staff doing an 8 hour shift and breathing it in.
Ignored by greeting staff on the way in. They finished their conversation before addressing my question, wouldn’t have cared so much about that if even ONE staff helped loading a Portacot. The customer service lady didn’t even wait to see if I could fit it into the bottom of the pram before walking away. Walked past at least 4 staff almost dropping it, I worked at big w. No way our manager would have let this happen. Pathetic
There is NO SUCH THING as Customer Service in this store ....1 person on the floor and she couldn't have cared less about helping anybody with any query. I, for one, will not venture back into this store, ever.! I spoke to the 'manager' expressing my concerns and got the impression that I was waisting her time. I will now travel the extra distance to Eastland and see how they fare..
In need of a new fit out. It's a nightmare pushing trolleys around in this Target as their current layout doesn't match the tiles vs. carpet patterns on the floor, so your trolley will randomly catch on the edges of the tiles in the middle of an isle and go crashing into the shelves ♀️ Staff are otherwise brilliant and the range they have for a smaller store is great.
I went into Target today to purchase an item from the toy sale. The shop assistant (I didn’t get her name) who was a little older, was so helpful. She looked up an item I was after and ended up getting me a trolley. Way beyond the normal service you get. I ended up walking out with a trolley full of toys. Such great and personal service. So refreshing. Wish I caught her name.
So did a click and collect 3 weeks ago just for 5 packs Pokémon cards rang once a week for 3 weeks only to be told that they are coming from Doncaster which is 20mins down the road maybe I should go drive and collect them for target. Worse click and collect ever go to big w so much better and with updates if any delays.
Good shopping center. Not too big and not to small. Some of the shops need to make more space so wheelchairs can move around freely without knocking clothes of the racks. Don't like the setup of Kmart. Counters need to be at front of shop like they used to be, not in the middle. Too awkward with my wheelchair.
Usually have what we're after and the staff have always been helpful and friendly. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because of the newer layout of the store doesn't match the way the carpet is put down now. It's annoying with a trolley and just messes with my head and OCD
Ridiculous process for click and collect with 1 staff member checking you in and 1 staff member collecting like 2 orders at a time. Great way to stand around waiting in close contact with 20 other people for 30 minutes plus waiting. Well done Target Chirnside Park
Target used to be the place to get nice inexpensive clothes. Prices are now overly priced for the quality and the colours are incredibly drab. After bad customer service and finding out that customer satisfaction is low down on the list. I'll no longer shop there.
The staff are nice but really average if you compare to Eastland, they have way more of the range at Eastland. They barely have licensed pyjamas at Chirnside and don't have the huge Disney section. Could really use a full store revamp, feels bland.
Very happy with their click and collect process. Ordered it online and the next day my items were ready to be picked up. Very quick and easy process. Well done target for working so efficiently through these challenging times.
I do love target, their clothing is really up there for women, but I really wasn't impressed with the self serve, only 2 registers to walk through ,and heaps of self serve registers, not a big fan sorry, but really nice store
The only thing about Target I DONT like is that they only have self-checkouts, no manned stations. But saying that, someone will help you. Puts me off going in there as much as I used to though
Found items easily, nice set-up now tried on clothing all ok. Self serve register easy to use and no problems, help was there if I needed it. But it was simple.
Do not like the fact if is self serve. I like to have a friendly face greet me. I do very little shopping in Target due to lack of staff attended registers.
It's a good store and the staff is friendly. I wish they stocked it up regularly. A number of things have been out of stock lately, maybe because of COVID.
Good range for all ages and a nice extended size range. Prices are fair. Staff have always been helpful. Store is not super pram friendly at times.
I've always loved Target clothes but the larger sizes aren't appealing in style or design. Also I can't get tracksuit pants that I like anymore.
Always friendly service. Recently the range has been reduced. Unsure if this store will be one of the many targets to close across Australia
Such a nice shop but they don't carry a huge amount of stock. It is a little store but it has great staff.
Was nice, good items, tell the person at the front entrance Eamon sent you, and have a nice day
In desperate need of a makeover. Feel like I'm back in 1999 when I step in there.
I was looking for some items and found what I wanted , so a very good job.
It's a target store, it's not bad for shopping at
I always find what I want here
