Just visited tonight for a quick shop. Tried on a few clothing items and asked the fitting room attendant for help with getting a different size for me to try on, to which the reply was "yea you can go get it".... So I said again I was asking for help (maybe it was unclear the first time? I don't know so I gave them the benefit of the doubt), and they just looked at me blankly.. ummm aren't they stationed there to help customers? Or at least try? Honestly if it was policy due to Covid and they told me, I would have understood. Anyway, I paid for my items, cashier staff was courteous and friendly, no complaints there. Probably the only reason I didn't give this review a 1* to be honest. Walked out and my shopping bag beeped, I chose not to return to the cashier as they were now busy with another customer so I went to the young staff stationed at the entrance so they could check. He gestured that I was fine to go and when I asked can he please double check he just said it should be fine. It was almost closing time so I left. What happened next, you asked? You guessed it. It beeped at the next grocery store I entered .. To sum up, a very disappointing trip. Would love to see Target increase their staff training...

A lot of empty shops and cafes. To be expected under current circumstances. Half shutting at 5pm on a Thursday night! Not that much foot traffic. Found a good shoe shop sale. Cannot recommend The Coffee Club! Shocking lack of service . Not a decent table that wasn't piled high with dirty dishes and other people's left overs! If I hadn't already paid, I actually should have asked for my money back and left! My food sat there getting cold until the cook finally delivered it right onto the table of dirty left overs! Then proceeded to carry them across my food! I had to take my food off do she could put the rag over my tBle to "clean" . Food was reasonably tasty but cool. As was the cappuccino with no froth on top! Not a lot of other choices to go to at the moment. OPSM were very good. Fruit shop always good. 3 supermarkets. The place has seen better days.

Very rude manager when attended a few months ago and wanted an exchange query for my older mother. The regular worker was lovely but wanted the managers help. When they came, instead of being helpful was very condescending and rude. I wish I asked his name. But it was a male manager on a Thursday evening I can’t remember the date. What was worse I contacted target online and they said to go down to the store for further help. After the encounter with the rude manager, I did go direct to target again and only received an automated message that closed the query. I love target and the stuff they sale, but will not coming back to forest hill store purely for this reason. ( this was a few months ago, and I was going to post it at the time, but decided not to.. but today I decided too.)

I entered target forest hill at approximately 5.02pm when i was greeted by a smile by a young little brunette greek boy with a mullet who then helped me then helped me find goods around the store. Especially help me find lots of toys in the toy section. He then helped give very helpful recommendations, he knows the store very well, swiftly leading me to the toy section with no hesitation. I love to see this passion and pride for his job, WELL DONE!!! This employee helped my experience at target forest hill a very pleasant time i would like to shout out the young little greek boy.. his yiayia would be proud!!! 10/10 every time I need a little something I will 100% go to target forest hill! Give this amazing employee a pay rise!!!

Re- Target Forest hill. Ordered 4 T-shirts on click and collect October 5th 2021. Today’s 27/10/21. Still only 1 available as that was what was availble in store. 3 more has been shipped to Forest hill store according to their emails a week back. Still have not been asked to come. Understand, it’s lockdown and only C&C available but other retails companies are super fast and won’t keep you for months let alone a week if they can help it. Ordered few click n collect items from Forest hill recently all of them has been super slow when ever an item has to be shipped from another store to Forest hill. Overseas orders has been quicker !

Forced to use hand sanitizer on entrance not a problem, being a push pump bottle that everyone touches... Problem, just get one where you put your hands under with a sensor, much more hygienic, the sign says ask for assistance where the hand sanitizer is and I didn't want to touch it so I asked for assistance and the lady there just said "off you go"... Why have a sign offering assistance if you're not actually going to provide assistance. Instantly left.

Good sized department store that's well layed out. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Unfortunately if there is a popular item on sale /in the catalogue you need to get in fast to make sure you don't miss out. Otherwise good sales are featured regularly, in season items available and well thought out variety of products. I can always find something that "fits the bill" if not the exact item I was after.

I have been looking for a serving tray for a few days that I haven't been able to find in any other stores. I arrived at Forest Hill today and there was no stock on the floor. I asked Sandeepa at the front register to please see if they had any in stock and between her and another gentleman, whose name I didn't catch, I managed to walk out with not one but my ideal two trays. Thank you both for your help!

It is just ok now. Some time back, you used to get a reasonable choice of products. My choice for singlets was down to one brand and 2 types, neither of which had my size. I looked at dressing gowns as well and forewent purchasing because the quality was quite poor. The seams of the one I chose were splitting at where the shoulder met the hanger. I left the store empty handed.

I’ve got some my kids toys and clothes etc. I am just so unhappy with one staff at register. She looks so not kinds and throw my item after she scanned. It makes me so upset how she behaved. I will avoid to come there again. Why are they still working if they don’t want to be nice to customers? I don’t understand at all. She ruined my whole day.

Staff refuses to honour advertised prices. They said the sale had ended, but they'd forgotten to remove the sale labels. Many prices not shown. Lack of staff on floor. Items hadn't been re-arranged, so I picked up something from the Manager's Special for $5, which scanned at $25 and they could not reduce the price, as it was "incorrectly hung."

The worst shopping experience ever and over charged on items. As l was a former local l rang up. No had to return to the store for a refund Where the same person who was quite smart in words but needs training took no responsibility for her mistake. Will not be back . Very poor customer service But no service l would say

Use to adore target when we first arrived in Australia, sadly buying stuff there is the luck of the draw, gave stuff I bought there that didn't last and other stuff that didn't last. I rather go to to max, better quality price ... Anyway, still go occasionally, just please, do not buy shoes there

Checked and bought a product that is available in store "Estimated ready to collect today" (pasted from website). Called in-store and assisted by a rude person said to "call HQ for an ETA and hung up". Misleading information and this person need another training here especially "customer service"

The staff are fine but their manager was rude - didn't allow us to exchange or refund, and put up a big fight with us. I brought the same item to Chadstone, no issues or questions asked. Given it's so dull and dingy in the Forest Hill branch, I'm more than happy never to go there again.

Not bad. I like to see more friendly staff and better service. Fee experiences and I don’t like it. In prime location and not great with choices and staff support. Hope like BIGW not going to get shut down. Hope the store pick up standards and provide offers and better customer service.

I'm really beginning to wonder about Target, and if senior management even know what their business model is these days? It gives the appearance of an oversized $2 shop, bits and pieces of stock, haphazard layout, random items, incomplete ranges. What exactly is this shop these days?

Relatively large target that's easy to get to parking wise. Inside the store is reasonably spacious and easy to get around. Came here to shop for kids clothing and we found what we were after so no complaints. Sunday afternoon and there was no wait at the registers.

There's a male staff member here with pink/purple hair that made my trip to this store incredibly unpleasant! He was rude, bossy, condescending and displayed narcissistic behaviour. He was absolutely tripping on his 'power' as a staff member. I do not recommend

Always a great place to wander around it's hard it Click and Collect I find a buy more when I walk around the store because I can hold it against me to close all that sort of thing if you know exactly what you want then now is perfect but I prefer to wander

I'm afraid Target are slipping closer to a Kmart style of store but keeping the Target prices. It's harder to find staff than it used to be, the range of brands is dropping & that means the quality of the products aren't as good as they used to be. Shame.

Good store. Clean. Has plenty of variety of products. Can run put of stock if there is a run on eg heaters when very cold weather strikes. Cheap prices. Helpful staff. The checkouts need to be near the exit as people are used to this in variety stores.

Went to Target today with my grandchildren to buy some clothes but when we got into the line there was one person at the cash register and seven people in line. There are absolutely no staff working there at all + no one to ask for help if you need it.

We ducked in for a "C&C". But we went looking for other stuff like bright and colourful clothing. But there was nothing really to excite us. Bit of a shame as we used to enjoy a browse and invariably we would walk out with extra purchases.

Had to exchange an item of clothing. The cashier does that now. They don't have a service desk which is fine. The transaction went smoothly - no dramas. The lady that greets you when you enter the store was very helpful and very friendly.

Not enough staff on the registers to serve the long line of customers waiting. Items scan up at the wrong price despite tag saying otherwise. People who weren’t waiting in the line pushed in and got service first. Overall not impressed.

It was once my favourite place to shop but not any more. Hopeless staff and bad customer service. Left promo sign on the shelf after sales have ended which i didn't know. Said they will honour it but don't want to give me the discount.

not to bad shopping centre to get some essential and services here. has a cinema, bowling area and a kids play area . food court has choices to eat . three supermarket of Coles, ALDI and Woolworths. beside this not bad shopping centre

Had gone to another Target yesterday for mens windcheaters, to find they had almost nothing left. Went to Target Forest Hill to find a good selection of sizes and colours at wonderful discounts. Walked out with an armful.

Not sure why but this Target seemed to be low on stock. ? Covid. Stock seemed to be sparsely arranged. The lady on the door directed me to photo frames after she had checked with someone, but there were none in sight.

I was emailed instructions to pick up my purchase from the click and collect loading dock at the back of the store. Unfortunately these were the directions for the last lockdown and not the same for this lockdown!

Target in general is just not as good as it once was. Bought two pairs of flannel PJs, spent $35 there for something sorta plain, but the $15 ones from the cheaper shop were made of thicker, heaps better fabric.

Very spacious and uncluttered. Easy to find your way around and find what you are looking for. I was in and out with what I was after in a flash, which suits this boring old white make just fine, thank you!

Target Forest Hill was sparkling when I visited recently. It was sparkling clean, all staff were really helpful and their stock was plentiful, tasteful and expensive looking. Great value for money.

Found what I needed, but staff are so unprofessional and are always in a bad mood, I rarely come here and when I do this is all I get. I only come here if I absolutely need something.

Great shopping centre. Would be even better if they could get all the escalators working one day. To be fair, they're working on it (and they have been for the last year and a half!)

Took my son over there to go shopping. Huge range of toys But like most of the Target in the country, maybe the way in business it is hard to cope with the market, it needs changed

Very poor customer service. Had to wait for 30 minutes for click and collect service even though there was no one to serve. More than a dozen people waiting to pick up their order.

Biggest variety store in Forest Hill chase. But very poorly staffed (low numbers) and limited assistance in speciality areas. Will laid out. Good lighting and access. Ok parking.

Good options for clothes that are better quality than Kmart and reasonably priced. Wide range of jean styles available. Also has good quality plus sized winter clothing for men.

Female change rooms are disgustingly dirty with grot all over the floors. Why arent staff noticing or sweeping it up. Its always like this! I can’t seem to upload a photo.

Very, very slow click and collect process at Target. We’ve had 2 click and collects in the last 2 weeks and both times we waited 15 mins at least. It wasn’t overly busy.

store overall good, but i would recommend not going into the staff bathrooms, i once went in there a few years ago and saw a mysterious white stain on the floor.

A decent Target store. Clean and well laid out. Checkout can be a little frustrating sometimes with a confusing setup and not always enough checkout staff.
