Heather the lovely lady that greets everyone at the door is a Gem She said it’s all part of the service however she went far and beyond to help me out today. Awesome old fashioned service from a large retail outlet Pointed me into the direction to find the product I was after, then while walking out I told her it wasn’t in stock, no problem I told her I was happy to return another time however she tried to chase it down from other stores without any luck. During her helping me I noticed how great her multi tasking skills are and her genuine kindness showed through as she greeted others and took multiple phone calls during the time she was trying to assist me. Working in retail cannot be an easy task and knowing it’s not the most high paying job out there I was more than satisfied Thank you Target Somerville on employing a Super Star ⭐️

Went to this Target store at around 3.30pm this afternoon looking for the Bellini air fryer. Looked where i thought it may be but the shelves were in disarray so I asked a team member who i had to go searching for, she told me to look in homewares and tried to make a quick getaway, i said i had, but I just needed to know if they could be somewhere else. She tells me to go to customer service and ask the girl there, so i search for customer service hidden in the back corner but, theres nobody there. Zero customer service, zero care factor. We ended up leaving and getting one at Harris Scarf Mornington and were helped by Aimee who was very helpful and knowledgable. Then we went to Goodguys Frankston where we were helped by Jan and bought a microwave, toaster, kettle, and the customer service was fabulous.

Love targets in general, the clothing ranges are beautiful and they now offer more budget friendly options as well. Found it easy to get kids school clothes here and their swim wear is amazing! I got some for my girls and even with my very average washing cycles, they still look as good as the day I bought them! The two times I've been in here needing help finding something, the staff have gone above and beyond to help. Even when I sent them on a wild goose chase for an item from the US target Plenty of parking outside the complex, disability accessible with wide aisles.

A quiet little town, very beautiful Surrounds, lush green fields. The landscape is dotted with trees and all kinds of fauna. This is definitely horse country with plenty of adjistments as we drove along. The Sommerville centre os packed with all the essential shops and well complimented by the Sommerville Plaza for all the grocery needs. Worth a stop if you’re driving by or worth a stay if you want some peace and quiet. The people are very friendly with many senior citizens around. Drop in.

Disappointed with the click and collect, they advertise click and collect same day or next day collect, have waited 29 hrs just to hear it’s only just processed. If you can’t stand by your statement of service don’t bother using the excuse your busy and have hundreds of orders, how about updating your web site to let customers know instead of just getting the sale and deal with the problem later. Will not do the click and collect again with them

Great range of women clothing. I wanted to try some jeans on but I couldn't get past the dirty floors and the amount of lint/ fluff on all of the black pants. There was literally dust bunnies under the racks and I could feel the grit under my shoes. This was sunday afternoon on the 11th of june. I would of bought atleast 2 pairs of pants if I hadn't of felt it was unhygienic to try them on.

Shocking ‘returns/exchange’ customer service experienced by weekend manager at Target Somerville. Training is needed in regards to how you talk to customers. Nobody wants to feel publicly humiliated for returning an item that was not suited for its intended use. Maybe a training update is also needed to familiarise yourself with the Target refunds and exchange policy document.

Great option if you’re in the SE or on the peninsula. Parking is plentiful and free. Their staff are friendly and always happy to help. Queues are never long as it’s not a super busy store. However it’s a large format store which stocks the vast majority of lines available at Target. Worth a look if you’re struggling to get a park at your local Target.

Super slow click and collect. Why don't they keep the items awaiting collection on trolleys close to the counter instead of having to go backwards and forwards to the storage area? Only one person on the counter, and he was spending all his time on the phone to staff in the storage area instead of serving the people waiting.

Terrible click and collect service, was notified 5mins before arriving at store via text and email that my order was ready to collect. Waited over 30mins at the store while they tried to find my order that had gone missing in that little time. Left with no order, disappointed

I was made feel like I had stolen the products that I was wanting to exchange didn't want a refund just the correct item. Also if your staff are to discuss the customer while they can still hear what is being said maybe the need an update of their Customer Service skills.

I cannot commend the efforts of todays door woman Heather. She went above and beyond for my shopping experience. It was beyond refreshing to have such a lovely encounter with such exceptional customer service skills. Thankyou Heather!

while shopping at this location, a young British chap by the name of William provided amazing customer service and was extremely helpful. definitely deserves a raise. will definitely shop here again and would recommend to others.

Was ok, but would like a bit more lady's comfortable and casual wearing pants... They also had very little in bigger sizes. Ended up in men's wear buying a Fila, tracky set. Bit pricey also, the one set cost me $100.00 -Crazy-

My expectations were of the US one and was so disappointed walking in, but I think they'll catch up soon and get rid of the dreariness that's happening now. Australia Kmart is to US Target, as Australia Target is to US Kmart.

We received outstanding customer service st this store today after I called to enquire if an item was available and the kind staff member put the item aside for me at the front checkout. Great store and friendly staff :)

Prices are much higher than they used to be. In the past I could always find something to buy but as the prices seem much higher than they used to be I will often walk out empty handed. This makes me sad. ☹️

What a dump. They got rid of the Target in Mornington which was much bigger and had a lot more stock. This place looks like no one cares. And it smells old. They should've got rid of this one instead.

Great shop, needs more seating for elderly or disabled. Not keen on scanning my own stuff. Humans staff are better than us. Should get a discount like staff, if we do it ourselves in self serve.

I went in at 8pm tonight - Monday. It was really peaceful, staff were friendly, relaxed and really organised with tidying and putting out goods. It was a lovely experience with zero stress.

Nice to still have a Target store within a day's march of home. Good selection of stuff at reasonable prices. Only things missing are my favourite men's polo shirt with breast pocket

I always enjoy wonder around this Target. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. For a small store it has quite a lot of variety. Great free parking lot as well.

Lovely staff and great to have a local department store that caters for families. So disappointed the Mornington store closed but very thankful for the Somerville store.

Hard to find what I was looking for and some of my favourite things to buy have disappeared. The store is very convenient but not if it doesn't carry what you need.

Bosses should put on more staff to pick up customer rubbish and mess. Clothing stolen from packets. Items thrown back anyhow. Most stock disorganised by lunchtime.

Target is a great place to shop, I get most of my clothes there, great selection. Also good to have a look around for other items that you may need for your home.

I hear they are downsizing which is a pity, but I hope this Target stays for awhile yet, quality of the merchandise and customer service is great.
