Beautiful woodland trails, connecting to the Meanwood valley trail. Perfect for dog walking or a short walk, unless you connect it to the Meanwood Valley trail or Meanwood park to make it a longer walk. Tennis courts are found near the entrance on Weetwood road, plus some pleasant gardens to sit in

Less Holly than I expected but still pretty good. There were trees of various shapes and sizes to suit most tastes, though everything was pretty much the same type of green. Some nice rocks and mud too. There were several fat squirrels too. This pleased me.

Interesting park with rhododendrons and mature trees. Pleasant walking through the woods. Sadly, it is becoming more and more neglected with reduced maintenance. The past glory is fast fading but still visible in the park's overall structure.

Good for walking and enjoying peace and quiet in the woods. Lots of plants and trees to teach little ones. Very surprised to see a hibiscus tree among all the greenery. Benches dotted along the routes for resting tired feet. Tennis courts a

Absolute hidden gem! I’ve lived not too far from here for years and never knew about it. Great place to visit for a wander around the woods or dog walking. Very quiet and peaceful. In one part of the woods there is a lovely little stream

A fantastic place for exploring, whether as adults or with children. Mostly wooded trails including the Meanwood Valley Trail, a popular route, that runs alongside the stream and connects The Hollies to Scotland Wood and Meanwood Park.

Superb for walking your dog or just having a walk with family and friends. Small car park, various gardens and 6 tennis courts, all well maintained. Good flat walk from the car park to the ring road, approx 3/4 mile each way. Lots of

Fantastic parkland near Far Headingley. Small, free car park, tennis courts, formal gardens and woodlands which are said have inspired J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord of The Rings, when he worked at Leeds University

Amazing place to have a walk in the park with beautiful garden, also have a path for riding bike (which is of my concern) Plus there is lawn tennis ground where u can play with your friends

Great...a mid muddy in places but my dog loves it. It's great exercise as well because it's not a flat terrain. The woods are great and you can easily go into Meanwood Park.

A beautiful park with lots of different paths to take. The flower gardens, near the car park, are always beautiful and well kept and the tennis courts are really nice too.

  • Crazy Lady Jess

I've been coming here for 30 years man and boy and it gets better every year. Nice gardens, lovely forest, free tennis. Going there makes me feel happy and calm

  • Tom Hodgson

A scenic park layed out over the hill overlooking meanwood park. Great for dog walking but can get quite boggy in wet weather. Facilities include tennis courts.

Great for dog walks. A lot of lovely rivers and bridges to cross and walk at the side of. Massive woods and kept very clean and tidy with no rubbish at all

  • Ross Kaberry

The space is good but the tennis courts are a bit tired at the moment. Lots of dog walkers around, not much else in terms of facilities but a nice place.

  • Georgia Jenkins

Beautiful woods that feel very unique for the area. Lots of beautiful rhododendrons and a wonderfully kept plant garden which you can sit in.

  • Sachin Sharma

seems like a really nice place to visit / walk through any time of year. It has parking up top and also a council owned tennis court

Beautiful woodland and a great place to walk the dog, especially if you wander all the way down to adjacent Meanwood Park.

Having not visited the Hollies in around 15 years, we found ourselves wondering why we had left it quite so long.
