Okay so the reason I am giving a 1 star, in short they are going against the ACCC. Been going here for a while, really good bread, rolls, and baked goods. They did have a surcharge on purchases under $10, okay I can live with that, even though they are with Commonwealth Bank (which Commonwealth Bank does NOT put surcharges on their tap and go or other card payments) so what they are doing is wrong, but wasn't going to argue, until now. Last couple of weeks I was getting their rolls and the rolls had mostly air in them, which not cool. And now they put a 20 cents on all card payments, which is a big NO NO. You are with Commonwealth Bank, you do not need to do this! I am tried of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and other stores who put in a surcharge, it goes against the ACCC. You have lost my business, which is really sad.

Our local bakery and I think Tony Tran still looks the same as the first day I walked into there. They have all the usual baked items, all cooked fresh daily. Pies and sausage rolls are one of our staples for a quick lunch there. But shhh, don't tell my wife, the custard slice, creamed doughnuts and cheese sticks are to die for...

I’ve been wanting to try their bread rolls so I came in early this morning but the lady was so rude while rolling her eyeballs and pressuring me while I was choosing which one to order. It wasn’t even busy and I was do only client at that time.

Good pies and pasties at a good price, but average banh mi at an average price. Seem to be often out of certain pies and pasties even before midday.

Ok prices Pies were eatable much better pies down in northcote or Fairfield Person working didn’t really listen to my questions so wasn’t helpful.

What a yummy little place. The crispy pork roll is delightful and they have very good vanilla slices and doughnuts too. Yumm

Tony Tran is a wonderful bakery with many delightful pastries to select from. I would highly recommend the custard tart.
