Echoing the other reviews regarding the incredibly rude man staffing the passport office. We mistakenly showed up without photocopies. He told us to go to the place next door because they would do it correctly/did it for them all the time. My husband did that, and when he presented the copies made, the man screamed at him that the way the copies were made was wrong. Okay…you told us to go next door because they’d do it right, it’s not like my husband told them how to copy it. We also did not list our parents’ birth cities on the application, as it does not ask for that. He told us we must fill it in. When we said we didn’t know, he told us to guess. My husband then said, “I think it was (place)”, and he snapped back, “if you don’t know for sure, don’t put it anything down.” So…are we supposed to put something down or not? We also listed our parents as our emergency contacts. He pointed to that on our forms and said, “how can you put them as emergency contacts and not know where they were born?” He also told us to call and ask them, and when we pulled out our phones, he snapped, “no phones!” He almost seemed to enjoy giving us contradictory instructions.
3-4 times now, I've dropped off mail or packages here only to have it be extremely delayed. I used the auto machine, to weigh several packages and get postage on them. Each was priority mail, guaranteed 3 day delivery. It was 4 days before the packages tracking numbers even showed up online on USPS.com. I also sent some legal documents to Oklahoma to an attorney. Big manilla envelope. Sent it on a Monday. supposed to be 3 day delivery and it was at least 3 before the envelope was even in the system. The following Thursday. When it got to Oklahoma, they tried to deliver it on a Saturday when the office was closed. Monday was a holiday. Finally, on a Tuesday, 8 days after I dropped it off; the attorney received it. I also sent in a payment for a subscription, that was never received. I think someone at this location, is deliberately doing it for what ever reason. I've seen lots of complaints online. I hope they send in a manager that cleans this place up. No need for it.
Just got back from not getting our passport photo for our toddler. Came in with everything and the man working there seemed in a bad mood or something. Our daughter started crying and he just snipped, "She can't cry." as we were trying to calm her down (if we could control that, obviously we would). Went through and said some photocopy was bad because we opted to have it fit the page instead of cutting it off. No big deal, husband went to get a new photocopy. In the mean time we tried to take the photo and he silently stood there while my daughter cried on the stool. Other passport places I'd been to at least tried to say, "Over here!" or make some funny noise for kids. Of course, the quiet, rude man in the corner wasn't helping her feel better. Ended up not getting a photo and now we have to wait another month for the next appointment. If you're going to be that bad with kids, I wish it at least said appointments for minors weren't available at this location.
The people here are understaffed, underfunded, and above all, underappreciated, and you have to take that into account when visiting. For what they go through, the kind employees here are truly trying their best. I just recently put several letters into the wrong kind of envelope, which technically made them packages, but the man at the front desk only charged me as if they were letters anyway. He didn’t have to do that, nobody here has to do anything more than the bare minimum, but despite the treatment they so often receive from the general public, they try. The post office is the kind of place where people don’t leave reviews unless they had a bad experience, which leads to a sort of spiraling effect where the rating keeps getting lower and lower. Wanted to try to offset that as much as I could.
Really disappointed with this USPS. If I could give it a negative, I would. One employee at the desk, I didn't get close enough to get his name, it's about 4pm on 11/10/23, when this took place, 7 people in front of me, he was complaining to a customer about how bad it is to work there and on and on and on. She engaged the conversation, which encouraged him to go on even further about his terrible job, what people say and about management...all negative. After all that was said, I didn't feel comfortable with him handling my transaction, he didn't seem focused at all, on his job. I would of used the kiosk, if I didn't have questions. I left. He should not be at the front desk.
I'm not sure if any of the employees at this location actually look at these reviews, but in case they do, I just wanted to thank the woman who was behind the mail pickup counter today. I was in a really stressful situation with getting an important document in time and you went above and beyond to help me and explain why I was in the situation I was in and how to reach a resolution. After I held up the line, you even had one of the customers run out and grab me after I left because I forgot to leave my call-back information (was too stressed to consider how you'd even reach me lol). I really appreciate everything you did for me today - thank you so much!
This post office has good postal workers at the counters. I've seen a lot of courtesy shown by them. The priority mail supplies aren't always full, but there's always a good selection to choose from. People who need package pick up from the side door seem to be getting good service. I've never seen anyone complaining as they wait. The building has always been clean when I go here and parking is abundant. The employees can be a little testy at times, but I've observed some of the folks the have dealt with, and I must say, they truly have the patience of Job. If you need a location for a mailbox, this is a great one!
This review is specifically for Vikki, who was one of the most helpful post office employees I have ever encountered. I was trying to figure out which boxes to buy for my packages, and she saw me looking lost and offered to help. She even went in the back and dug around for a proper box for my package with weird dimensions. She was friendly and helpful, and I heard other customers walking in refer to her by name, so I'm gonna guess she is well loved by the community. Next time I'm mailing something I'm definitely gonna go here.
I’m sure ppl mostly only leave reviews for post offices when they have a bad experience. But I want to exalt the miracle that is USPS. It cost me only $1.20 tax free to send a card to England to celebrate my cousins new baby! The employee I dealt with with fast and friendly. And this branch even has a self-service machine which are super handy for simple purchases! Seriously, UPS & FedEx would have charged $20+. Private companies are not always the way to go.
TAKE your business elsewhere because they will not come out to help you, one guy was just wandering inside the warehouse. I saw one guy staring and standing just like a statue staring at the other assistant. Good that there was at least one assistant helping 5-7 customers waiting in line. And she made sure that we knew what a great deal of service she is doing for us. Is this how it is supposed to be? The most pathetic usps visited ever. Good luck.
This post office is great. There's an absolutely angel of a person who works there named Vikki. I have only been in twice, but my first interaction with her was so pleasant that I chose USPS a second time. She was just as helpful and polite. I even made an error in the packing of my package, and she helped me fix my mistake. The hospitality provided is something I have never experienced at a postal service. Go see Vikki, she rocks!
The service at this post office is cartoonishly bad. I have been five separate times to collect my mail after my mailbox was damaged and never had a single person come to the door to hand it to me. One woman even told me to just keep waiting instead of helping me out! One of the five times the person working the counter was nice enough to get the mail for me. Everyone else looks like they’d rather be dead than come into work.
Walk In Passports on M/W/F 11:30-1pm. Big shout out to Jacob for helping us today! It was a smooth & easy process. Total time spent was an hour. Just be sure to have ALL your paperwork filled out correctly with photocopies of ID’s, passports, etc…… I would also like to point out the others working there for keeping the line moving quickly & everyone was so nice! It was a super busy day! Great job guys!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Some of the employees working the front counter are very nice and know their jobs, a standout is an African American lady named Vicky. Others are awful, rude and give misinformation. When some of the bad clerks are working, I go a few feet down the sidewalk to Post Net. It spares me from being treated badly by postal workers who are jerks. They are what give the post office a bad reputation and should be fired.
Like the other reviews say the guy processing passports is super rude and disrespectful. We understand you work for the federal government and it may not be the most glamorous job, but please treat us with respect. He also yelled at us for having phones out (with no signs at all indicating we couldn't)- which on top of the 2 hour wait with an appointment was also totally unacceptable.
It was three stars but as I stood here, it just kept dwindling. A painful place to be. Understaffed. The employees are extremely outspoken, and not in a good way. Gentleman behind the counter literally told the customer he was helping to file a complaint because the store doesn’t know what’s going on “and now all these people have to wait for me to help you.” WOW.
I hardly ever really go to the post office and when I do…I’m definitely a little lost and don’t know what I am doing. I wanted to leave a review and give Marcus 5 stars for all of his patience and literally going extra miles to help me out! Honestly he was doing that for all the customers that were there. Thank you so very much for the amazing customer service
Lots of bad reviews, but my only problem has been them not finding my international mail. Like I had to have them try to find it on 7 different occasions before a lady found where someone had put my package. But overall, no other problems and it's one of the last post offices open on Saturday.
Very friendly and helpful employees! Have been coming to this location for a while, and it's nice to see even during the long holiday lines - they employees welcome back regulars, and patiently explain shipping options to new customers. Kudos to them dealing with so many people all day long!!
Honestly, the most friendly and professional post office I have been in. The two employees greeted everyone like old friends, helped with questions and were so incredibly nice to everyone. Thank you Vikki for making my Saturday post office run so easy!
Awful customer service. I was patronized for waiting in line to drop off prepaid postage. I do that because it will be scanned in and that affects eBay shipment tracking. When I just drop them off the tracking will show the "acceptance" as
I checked the score before I arrived the place. Seems to me it is not as bad as people described. I sent out my first package today, with the help of the lady on the counter, she was nice and patient, giving me some suggestions of what to
Had a terrific experience here today. We had booked a passport renewal appointment for our daughter weeks ago, but never received any confirmation. I had to take my daughter out of school, and my husband was going to leave work, so it was
Unless you have a LOT of time on your hands, don't bother visiting this location. I ALWAYS have problems here, and dread any time I have to go in. One incredibly slow employee working the whole counter on a Saturday. She kept stopping to
The passport guy was extremely disrespectful to me, telling me how to wear my mask and said I was deficient. My mask was over my nose but since it couldn’t pinch he made me get another mask. The control was unbelievable. He belittled me
Passport agent took a pic which was rejected by passport agency saying bad quality ! She didn’t bother to check the picture and we thought to take at this location instead of outside to prevent such things.
Went to get the passport process started, and they told me I needed an appointment to which they said I could do Online. (fair) But when I get back to work and check online, it says I have to call them. I
My 11 yo and I had the most memorable and amazing experience with Vicki today (insert huge smiley). Thank you for extending impeccable customer service. YAY for being open on Sunday.
Vikki helped me send a package international and though the line was out the door (Christmas time), they were so friendly and helpful to not just me but everyone. Thank you!
Best experience I ever had at USPS. The man helped me get my passport organized for shipping and got me some cool stamps. Also there was no wait, on a Saturday!
We had such a pleasant experience here! The male staff (I wish we got his name) was extremely helpful and polite. It's by far our best experience at an USPS.
Self service kiosk says available 24 hrs, but they started locking the entire lobby, so it can’t be used when I need it. Please make it available again.
They were a waiting line and it took me a hour to get up to the front and take care of my business they will at least 25 people behind me when I left
Great customer care at this location. I am so appreciative to Vikki for being so kind and helpful, she made my stressful day much better :’)
15 minutes late opening, another ten minutes before they were even ready to help anyone, rude, and obviously couldn’t care less.
Came in today with my passport renewal forms filled out, the photo needed and the enveloped addressed to the renewal facility.
Place is slow, and the people here most likely won’t help you with what you need. Also rude to most customers
Rachel in the passport office was super helpful and very nice. Highly recommend this location. Thank you!
Vikki assisted me today 11/16 4pm - her kindness and patience made my day.
