***UPDATE *** I have again had the same item, also sent via Media Mail, marked as delivered but no package is found. They put the key in my mailbox, and low and behold no packages. It's very clear the letter carrier assigned to my location is stealing media mail packages. * Original Review * This location employs workers that are nothing short of incompetent and shady. A package of mine with heirlooms from a recently passed family member were marked as delivered to front door on 3/30 which is impossible because I was home all day and have a security camera showing no one except an Amazon driver delivered anything to my apartment. I filed a missing package claim and did not hear anything from Lisa Maxwell after her initial "we received your claim and will investigate" email. I sent an email on 4/4 and received a voicemail from Lisa (after hours, so I couldn't call back). She stated that she checked the "geolocation" of when the tracking number was scanned as delivered and that it was "delivered to the correct area" which means absolutely nothing because I live in an apartment complex. That package could have been delivered to an entirely different building, so she truly did not investigate. I live in a gated community that does not have any issues with porch pirates, so it couldn't have been stolen, and I received Amazon packages that day no problem. My dogs bark if my neighbors so much as open their front door, so a 13 pound package getting delivered would absolutely have set them off (but recall: I have a security camera which shows no evidence of a USPS worker coming to my door). In her voicemail, Lisa suggested I "file a claim" despite my having told her the items are family heirlooms which are literally irreplaceable. Today I have called this location 27 times and not a single call has been answered. I will continue calling until someone answers the phone since they refuse to answer my emails and instead call me after hours and leave a voicemail. Considering the fact that some of my attempts to call this location were met with a busy signal rather than ringing, it is hard not to speculate that my calls are being intentionally avoided.

This post office does not even deserve 1 star! Do NOT go here if you need to apply for a passport. The man who works at the passport desk is just awful. Or should I say, if you happen to be of any ethnicity except caucasian then he might be pleasant to you as he was to the young man ahead of me whom he chatted to for 20, yes TWENTY minutes on a busy Friday afternoon when he should have been expediting passport applications but instead continued to chat to the young man about his hometown of Blanco & his high school football team when people are waiting in line for their SCHEDULED appointment times! I was a little late for my appointment through no fault of my own so he had taken the next person in line ahead of me which is absolutely fair but as he wasted so much time chatting to him, once it was my turn, there was no time to do mine as the next appointment person had already arrived. He absolutely did this on purpose to make me wait as he was annoyed that I was late & continually told me to go & sit down & wait my turn & I politely told him I absolutely fine standing. He could have completed the young man's application & then mine in the time that he wasted. He agreed to glance over my paperwork which was all completed & I had brought my citizenship certificate which serves as photo ID also. He refused to accept it as ID although it says clearly on the passport application form that the certificate is all a naturalized citizen needs to apply for their first US passport. Obviously this remedial didn't know that & even asked for my greencard?! He doesn't even know that when one recieve citizenship, you hand your green card back to immigration & they give you your certificate! I tried to politely tell him this but he would not listen & by this time the next person in line had arrived so I was not going to let them suffer. Do NOT go here for your passport application!

I could not agree with Autumn's review more. We recently moved and had to deal with getting new mail keys cut. The people at the front were incredibly helpful, and we got our new keys only a couple days later. However, once we gained access to our box, there was a vacancy notice in it. I was surprised to see that since I filled out a mail forwarding notice more than two weeks ago. I tried calling with no answer three times, and when someone finally picked up, the two ladies I talked to were incredibly rude. The first lady said they were likely holding our mail because they had no way of knowing someone was now living in the house. I clarified with her that I had filled out the forwarding service online, and she passed me off to another lady. She was even more rude, letting me know it can take up to two weeks for mail to forward. I totally get that, but since lady #1 told me they were probably holding it until someone opened the box and turned in the vacancy form, I asked if she could check. She quickly put me on hold, and then picked back up a few seconds later to tell me nothing was being held. I have a sneaking suspicion she was done with me from the first question I asked, so I have no faith that she actually did what she said she would. I know the postal service is in trouble and I'm sure employees are feeling the pain, but operating with that level of disrespect and with utter disregard for their customers (and the tax payers funding their services!) sure doesn't make me feel very supportive. I definitely will only do business up there when I have to, which is a shame.

As mentioned in many reviews here, they simply do not answer the phone. I had a notice left at my door of attempted delivery at 10:22am Monday. By 10:34am I was filing for re-delivery online. I work from home, and am home all day. If they ring the doorbell I answer the door. Oh well, I filed for redelivery and hoped for the best. That day and the next day came and went. My package has been stuck on "processing at destination" (this post office) for two full days now. Today I tried to call several times - The first time, it rang for a full two minutes before going to a busy signal. Now I get a busy signal every time I call. As someone who has a career in a support position helping people all day every day, I find this kind of "service" extremely frustrating. It really gets under my skin. It seems this Post Office has some "unofficial rules" they don't broadcast or tell anyone about - they don't do signatures on delivery, they don't do re-delivery, and they don't do phones...It reeks of an Us Versus Them mentality where the ethos there is the public are just lucky to have what services they do provide. It's a mark of bad leadership and/or poor morale. It makes the Postal Service, one of the great American institutions, look really bad. There are a lot of people out there who want to see the USPS privatized and turned into another FedEx or UPS. Post Office's like my local one make that argument pretty easy for them!

This location has some systemic issues. The staff, while consistently busy, make little to no effort to facilitate a quick and easy exchange. They have intentionally disconnected inbound calls - go ahead and see for your self. Online posted hours indicating windows of services, like passport walk-ins on Wednesdays, apply when they are convenient for the staff. I asked the staff about the passport station that was in a separate line and was told that I needed to wait in the primary line. I did for around 20 minutes and when my turn I approached the same 'gentleman' that indicated I needed to wait in the main line. This man did not realize what day of the week it was - Wednesday. He asked if I had an appointment, to which I replied Wednesdays are for walk-ins. He began argue that it was NOT Wednesday....and quickly back pedaled saying that the walk-in roster was full. He advised that I make an appointment next time..... Save yourself the headache, even if it adds an extra hour to your drive - please try another facility first. The staff is lethargic at best. In my mind they have straight-up displayed malfeasance. Reading some of the other non-fake-5-star reviews, it's clear there is an issue with this location.

Until last week, I've received the best service at this post office. ...and then I was literally told to shoot people who are breaking into mailboxes in my neighborhood. The people in the main postal area are friendly, helpful, and have been a real pleasure to work with... I've never seen this at any other post office I've been to (around the country, even). Last week, however, I went to this site to report that the mailboxes in my neighborhood had been repeatedly broken into over the holiday season, and a tower was crow-barred open that day. They pointed me to the half door. The short woman who has been referenced in other reviews here answered. When I asked what could be done she told me to "shoot them". Are you kidding me??? She was so rude during the course of the entire conversation. I asked what else we could do to protect our mail, and she just kept saying to watch and then shoot them. The people in line with me couldn't believe it either. Completely nuts. I asked if I could put my mail on hold until this was sorted out, and she told me no! (I did it anyway.) She shouldn't be allowed to keep her job, at the least.

Another Update 04/02/2021 Always nice when a $200+ item that requires a signature is just left inside a box instead of actually taking it to a customer / resident. People don't pay extra for shipping to require a signature to get an item late and then not get it delivered as expected. Update I left a review 4 months ago about the terrible customer service and now I’m getting messages on tracking of Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location There is access y’all are just being lazy. I know that it’s a busy time of year but I work 46+ hours a week every week and I still do my job. Don’t try to pass it off that it wasn’t deliverable when it was or get another error message of sorry package delayed we will try again soon. I live in an apartment with mail box clusters and separate boxes for packages I literally walked to my box as soon as I got the message and no one was there, No one was blocking the boxes, and nothing had been delivered. ————————-/ They need to get the stuff together. Told one thing one time and a completely different thing another time. Be consistent.

USPS was supposed to deliver my package which they just didn’t do without giving me a notice or anything. I’ve decided to reschedule the delivery online which also never happened. After talking to three representatives (one is more incompetent than the other) they told me to just drive to this USPS here and pick it up. Arriving here they immediately told that they don’t have these types of tracking numbers here (she didn’t even look for a sec) but I insisted to have at least one look. So she took off and it took them 15 minutes to find out if they got my package for me or not even tho they had the tracking number. She then found it and told me I had to sign somewhere and she took off again. TWENTY minutes later she found the piece of paper where I had to sign. It took so much time and effort to get that stupid package… NEVER AGAIN

The "quick service" line to pick-up packages is extremely slow, average wait time is 15 minutes. The last few times I'm there, I see the other guys constantly "buzzing" the person in the back to come help. It takes at least two buzzes before someone comes up front. And when they do, they move SLOW. You could hire a high-school kid and they would retrieve packages faster than the people at this location. Also, I've had two missing packages in the past year at this location and both times, they made they make excuses and passed the blame instead of owning up to a mistake and preventing it from happening again. Worst location I've been to. I'm shipping packages to a different address to avoid picking up packages at this location. To any business owners out there, I would gladly pay extra to have UPS or FedEx handle my package.

Whenever I need a frustrating experience to remind me just how good life is this place is sure to deliver!!!!!! Yayyy Standing in line right now listening as someone is saying the post office lost their sons medication and they have no tracking or help for that customer. I can only imagine their frustration!! As for me I just have to deal with disgruntled and unfriendly postal workers who like to play a fun game of .....wait in line at the window...oh we can't help you with that go to the side door.. Wait in line at the side door ..hear everyone else's complaints..be so lucky and blessed as to finally get my turn in line..oh I can't help you with that..... And then I have to speak with a supervisor cause these people just don't seem to get they not only work in customer service but for tax paying customers at that.

The lady there was really helpful. I bought stamps and asked for the wrong flat rate priority envelope size and the guy helping me used the stamps in those envelopes already. When I got home, I found out that my documents won’t fit the envelope and they can’t be folded. I paid for two sets of flat rate mailing and they are not refundable. I came back the following day with the right size envelope (that I got from another post office location) to ask if there is a way that I can reuse the stamps since I already paid for them but can’t use them. Luckily, the lady who called me in was rally helpful. In the end, I was able to send my documents without paying for them again. My first transaction would’ve made me give a bad rating. But the second one really made me happy and I am really satisfied with the service.

God forbid you need to call this place... it rings and rings and rings. I tried, no joke, 20 times over the course of the entire day. Never once did anyone pick up. And to add to this review, the old wench who works the package room door should absolutely never hold a customer facing position. She was So rude to me this morning, interrupting me 5 or 6 sentences in a row, until I visibly got angry and asked her to let me finish a sentence. This post office used to be great. Now.... not so much... Hey USPS, you can add all the great tech you want, but if your employees can't or won't help you when there's an issue, it's all for naught. It's UPS or FedEx for me going forward, and I'll be sure to request them whenever possible on purchases as well.

So I was getting a first time passport for my daughter. I was about 10mins late to my appt. There was a man and a woman worker behind the counter to process passports. I encountered the man first and he said he had been waiting for me and told me I was going to have to wait for all the other appts ahead of me to be done unless their was a cancellation. He then sent all the customers with packages etc to the lady worker then went off with customers to help them with their passports.. So we sat down on the bench. The lady came over to us and said she would help us. Ms. Donna you are such a sweetheart and I appreciate you helping us. It warmed my heart everytime you referred to my daughter as "baby". Thank you so much, girl. You are a treasure.

I have had 6 first class packages go missing at this Post Office in the past week. I dropped multiple packages off at this location with Prepaid first class mail labels. All of the packages where I have checked a package in at the front desk and got a receipt were fine and delivered as expected. Whenever I drop packages in the mailbox outside or the dropbox inside (even during business hours) none of them have been scanned in. I have inquired about the packages and noone has any answers. At this point I suspect foul play that is going on at this Post Office. I wouldn't recommend using drop box inside this post office or mailbox outside at all. I would only use the front desk and get a receipt. Don't trust them otherwise

  • Jessica Withee

Terrible post office. They don’t pick up mail from collection boxes when they should, have lost my mail (and even with insurance didn’t refund my money) and rarely scan packages when they are picked up. I also scheduled a pickup to avoid going altogether and they marked it as complete but never took my packages. Part of it may be because of Covid, but for the most part even before the virus they were inept. I went to pick up a package before the pandemic and I was asked what the package was, and why I needed it instead of letting it be delivered. I told them it was a dress for a wedding I was attending and as a ‘joke’ he said he’d give me package if I sent pictures of myself in the dress. Don’t waste your time here.

  • Anabel Villalobos

They REFUSED to give me back MY ITEMS after realizing I misplaced my CC. I was mailing a very expensive jacket to a buyer and when I stepped up to the register to pay for shipping, I realized I had lost my credit card. They saw exactly what I placed in that package. Instead of them giving me back my jacket so that I could go look for my credit card they refused. They WOULD NOT provide proof that they were holding my item, nor would they give it back until I processed payment for shipping. HOW COULD I PAY FOR SOMETHING I DONT HAVE FUNDS FOR. CANCEL MY ORDER AND RETURN MY ITEM SO THAT I COULD GO GET A FORM OF PAYMENT. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE USPS for any of my retail transactions. #Abunchofshadycharacters

  • Joshua Dwyer

Spent 53 dollars for overnight delivery, money back guaranteed. Package showed up 4 days late. Spoke to Eddie at the branch and he would not even look up at me to explain the situation on why I wasn't getting my money back even though I brought back the receipt which they told me to upon paying. Eddie was very rude and said "I didn't do my part." (to get a refund) After trying to understand what was going on for a minute or so and getting nowhere I just had to walk away. To anyone who reads this just go to UPS or Fedex. Only costs a few extra dollars for way better customer service and stress free package delivery. I will no longer be using USPS for any package delivery just not worth it.

  • Candice Rohrman

Experience has been terrible with this post office. They never answer their phones, are incredibly rude in person, and seem to complete pick up requests about 40% of the time. This may be the most unreliable post office I have ever had to use. This post office has also lost packages they picked up from my door step, and never responded to the requested claim - even though they said they called me. (they didn't). Unfortunately I have regular pickups that are needed and this is the only place I have lived that cant seem to pick up the actual packages. If you can deliver mail, you can pick up the packages that were requested via the online portal. So incredibly frustrating.

  • Nancy Verrett

Mail carriers for Beckett Meadows often put the wrong mail in your post box. Including reorder of checks, new credit cards, bank statements, and investment financial statement which include how much money you have invested with accounts numbers. I have personally delivered mail back to the post office but this still continues. This has been going on for about 3-4 years. The people working behind the counters are always polite and helpful but as I said the mail carriers for this neighborhood are not competent. I am now currently missing a check in the mail that I should have received last week. Neighbors please take the time to notify the post office of issues.

  • Holly Tiberi-Monti

Terribly unprofessional. I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for a child's passport on the date of my child's early school release day. They called me and left a fumbling message saying nobody was there to do it and they had to cancel, but "you can come tomorrow at the same time". No, I can't, my child will be in school. I called back immediately and have been calling for 2 hrs with not a soul picking up a ringing phone at that office. They could have done me the courtesy of letting me know earlier so that I could have made other arrangements. No integrity, and no service. Now I have to drive downtown and try to find parking to get this done today. Not happy.

  • Katherine Barnhill

Have tried unsuccessfully for days to reach them by phone for some very basic questions. Went to the locale and spent about 45 minutes in line for less than a 2 minute chat with a gent at the desk. Not once did I hear a phone ringing while in line. I don't think they putz around with anything less than in-person service here, which was not at all necessary for someone like me who only had questions that could have quickly and easily been answered over the phone. It was a great test in kindness and patience tho, so if you are looking for practicing those skills, I highly recommend visiting

A friend who is in india visiting family sent me a gift. I got a slip on Friday July 12th and had to work Saturday they are closed sunday. So i went there monday . The older lady was very short with me and told me she did not have anything there for me and its already been sent back. I filled out redelivery well actually to pick it up it said available but then said it was already on way back to India. Wow unbelievable. Everytime i go to this post office mutiple people are upset over lost packages. They are pretty unfriendly and couldnt care less. Not very good custumer service

  • The Hoff

I'd post zero stars if I could. Online tracking showed a delivery on Saturday. We were literally home the entire afternoon, only to find a "Sorry We Missed You" note in our mailbox with the day's mail. WHAT A JOKE! The lazy mailman/woman made no effort to knock on our door or to simply leave the small envelope in the mailbox. Again, we were home before/during/after the regular mail delivery. Thanks for the inconvenience of having to drive to the post office during work to pick up concert tickets (highly time-sensitive). Next time, do your job... And stop lying to customers.

  • Paola Viera

Went to submit my passport application, since this is an acceptance facility. Missed mu brothers wedding because 1. They didn’t put expedited on the notes but I paid for expedite and 2. Got a letter 8 weeks later saying my application was rejected because the acceptance agent is not listed as active. How is that even a thing, why would someone that can’t accept these is working on doing the process, there wasn’t anyone else that day just that gentleman. As an authorized facility you should be held accountable, i lost money on tickets and stay plus a family event.

  • Cabe Lindsay

Aw man, I sure appreciate the service at this particular post office. This morning I shipped 100+ children's books all over the country, and the clerk handled each of my items with great care, while the clerk beside us was smiling cheerfully as she helped the other folks. Ended up with a 12-foot-long receipt the detailed each package shipped. Totally impressed! BTW, the first time I found them was around Christmas time 2012, and this was the only place with space in the automated shipping bin on the weekend - that means it's less crowded than other locations.

  • Logan Erickson

I would avoid this post office at all costs. Regardless of what time you go, be prepared to wait 30+ minutes. I mailed a certified letter from this post off on 12/2 and as of 12/21 no delivery attempts have been made, the letter is stuck in transit. I attempted calling this location and no one answers the phone, no matter what time of day you call. I made a second trip into the post office today to remail the letter and there are at least 30 people in front of me. I understand this time of year is busy but not answering the phone seems a bit silly.

  • Peter Joseph

Disorganized and inept beyond belief. Been trying to change my address for 4 months now. Submitted multiple Change-of-address forms. None of them got processed by the 'system'. A lot of my mail was lost in the interim. Bill payers keep reverting back to a PO Box which no longer exists. It has been unnerving to be on a roller-coaster for this long. On the bright side, employees are mostly polite. They have been directed to keep the lines moving, so they can be abrupt & rude as well. In other words, Revenue, not customer service is the bottom line.

  • Shelly Mendoza

After being told to come back another day, I returned only to be informed that the package was lost, and they urged me to reach out to the dead letter facility. Given the presence of a label on the package, this explanation appeared improbable. The individuals handling the situation were not only impolite but also made me question the integrity of the process. If I could rate this experience, it would be negative. It feels like my high-value package was either mishandled, misplaced, or worse, and their lack of concern is deeply troubling.

  • Andrea Street

Although the customer service is hit or miss depending on what day and who is working I really can't complain too much however I wish they would hire someone to come in and do a complete cleaning of this post office. It's pretty gross! Dried chewing gum on floors which look like they have never seen a mop...Cob webs and bugs in all of the light fixtures and dirty counters which are a germaphobes worst nightmare. I am ok with a little dirt but the place looks it has not been cleaned since I moved to Oak Hill in 1999....Yuck!

  • tbh9088

Counter staff is usually friendly and helpful which earned them an extra star. Unfortunately, and despite their claims to the contrary, no one has ever answered a phone call from me in three years. So, I have to go down to the office in person to report something as simple as a missing package which happens every two to three months. Update: On a whim I called them back today and got an answer in the first ring and a very helpful employee. Maybe they are listening to reviews. Adding a star for the good experience.

  • Eileen Seidowitz

Absolutely the worst post office in America. One star is one star too many. My most recent fiasco with this branch relates to another "missing" package. It was accepted by the post office on 5/7 and then went "missing". I have followed up on-line multiple times a day since then to no avail. As everyone else has previously said, they don't answer their phone EVER. Today, when I tryed to check, I got the message it is too late to check on this package. What now??? Postal "Service" is a misnomer.

  • GetAstroLogicNow

For the third time in six months a package mailed to me wasn't delivered by the Oak Hill post office carrier. When I called the Oak Hill office the phone rang for twenty minutes. Someone finally picked it up only to hang up. I called back. They answered on first ring and then hung up without even saying a word. I called back and the line was busy. I've spoken to the postal carrier several times about the problem. It hasn't helped. No one at USPS seems to care about whether mail is delivered.

  • Rusty Ferrel

I have been to many post offices in Europe and in the US. These are hands-down the friendliest people. They just got a new person a few months ago, not unfriendly. The reason I don’t give it a 5-star is: after-hours services… 1. There’s no recycling bin. 2. The place is always messy and dirty, trash can is full. 3. The box collection drawer handle is broken off. 4. There are no priority mail labels. During daytime hours this is my favorite post office in the Western world, so far.

  • Philip Harvey

They had 1 person staffed at the front desk on a Saturday. My package was statuses for pick up at this location. I waited for 40 minutes in line to find out it had been put on the truck for delivery. I got a "Delivered" status, and a pick up at location status. My package is not "Delivered." And, is missing I suppose. They told me to call if there was an issue. It gives me the 1800 number, and when given the status update over the phone, it says pick up at Oak Hill. This is a mess.

  • Chantel Stull

I am sitting in the parking lot writing this review because I was very worried about what my experience would be like prior to coming because of the reviews I had seen. I’ll start with saying they were SWAMPED. 4:30 on a Monday swamped. Every single person working there that I saw and heard helping people were super helpful, very kind, and considerate. I’m not sure what all the bad reviews are about but I had a lovely experience at this location today.

  • Rachael Bailey

When I went today, everyone was so patient and good spirited. So friendly and helpful. Wishing everyone Merry Christmas and just in the best moods. It was very welcoming. I know they're a busy location, but you couldn't tell they were very efficient! I actually didn't have everything I needed for my paperwork for my passport and they were very helpful and accommodating. Thank you for your hard work everyone! Happy holidays to you all.

  • Alex Puhl

Worst organization I've ever had to depend upon. After living abroad for a year, they haven't been able to update my address for 9 months being back stateside. All of my important mail is being returned to sender for the past 9 months. I've physically gone to the office 13 times in 9 months to get it resolved, spoken with 4 "supervisors" and no one has been able to fix it. Their best advice was for me to rent a PO Box. Utterly dumbfounded.

  • Doug Lloyd

We scheduled a package pickup at our house for 10 packages that had to go out on a specific day. We confirmed the pickup (even have a confirmation email), but they never showed up so I had to drive the packages myself to the post office. They finally showed up at my house to pick up the packages DAYS later. Did they think we would just hold on to packages for days?? Guess we'll stick to sending packages though UPS or Fedex.

  • Louise LMF

Typical post office with employees who are only held to minimal performance standards and know they can't be fired. Don't bother calling because don't answer. If you must go then be ready to wait in line. The self service options are not working 50% of the time and they only seem to accept debit cards. You would be better off going to the ups store at Wm Cannon&Mopac, Express shipping at Slaughter&Mopac or Fedex on Brodie.

  • Paul

Extremely poor customer service. Called in twice, and each time had representatives cut me off and hang up on me as I was speaking. They failed to deliver a package, and apparently decided not to walk it into my apartment complex office. After a requested re-delivery, I still did not receive the package. Without a doubt, the worst post office I have ever dealt with. Added bonus, no sense of urgency to assist customers.

  • Billy Monday

There is a reason that USPS will be gone in a decade. Our local postman looks disheveled and angry. As opposed to the uniform, this guy looks like a carjacker. If you can't honor a simple $2 money back guarantee, that's fraud. Legally it's fraud. They feel safe enough to be rude as well because they feel that the government will protect them. They DO get off work and WILL be seen in public. Seen is a good word

  • Jessica Dawn

If I could give a ZERO review I would! The postal person who had my package did not even attempt to deliver my mail. Stating they could not access my location. I work from home and the area is wide open. Other delivery people have no issue like Amazon, fedex never have issues, but USPS always has a excuse!! The postal employee was simply being LAZY! DON'T EVEN TRY TO CALL THEM THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!

  • Patrick Kennedy

Unfortunately, this location is incredibly inefficient and not a soul (living, dead, or somewhere in between) will answer the phone, so don't even waste your time calling - you might as well waste that time in-person waiting in line. When you do manage to speak/interact with staff, they tend to be pleasant, so that's a silver lining in what is otherwise a completely dreadful and agonizing experience.

  • laz monroy

0 sense of urgency. I have been here on multiple locations and it has been a consistent disappointment. Always expect a huge line and only one window open. I waited for over 20 minutes for one transaction to be done so I could go and they asked me to step away for something that took me 30 seconds to correct and had to wait another 20 minutes for somebody to do a transaction and have a nice chat

This place is one of the worst services I’ve ever experienced in my life. The mail handling staff is extremely incompetent and they did absolutely nothing to help hold my package even after coming in-person thrice to let them know I didn’t receive my package. It felt very obvious that they don’t care. I wish USPS takes complaints seriously and improves the quality of service at this place.

  • Thomas Jacques

Most experiences with USPS aren't glamorous in the first place, and I can't get any location to ever answer the phone. However, I do want to acknowledge that the Oak Hill USPS location has amazing and caring staff that is not typical of federal employees. I had a great experience being accommodated by the passport station and also have positive experiences consistently with the mail staff.

  • Sarah Hildebrand

The employees here are always so friendly! I come in frequently to ship items for eBay, and im always pleased with the customer service. Today, the associate Guy went above and beyond for me and helped me locate a special sized box from the back. He did not need to do this but was so kind to go out of his way! Thank you to the employees here that always make it so easy to ship my items!

  • Tennessee Stiffs

Just received a package from this USPS. It was completely torn open, and the contents had been taken out and put back in. Ordered some sports shoes. I’m appalled at the fact that nothing is handled the way it’s supposed to be. Just tried calling to let them know whoever delivered to our house is obviously stealing people’s things. Ofcourse the phone just rang and rang... no answer.

  • Lauren Graff

Had such a great experience the other day when I needed to get a package shipped out super fast! Donna was a wonderful help and so friendly! Left the above review 2 years ago, and is still so true! Today I went in and she was the only one working and there was a line almost to the door and yet she still held a smile on her face and was in great spirits and so helpful to everyone!

  • Rebecca Steingut

The first person at the passport desk just took so long with the previous customers that we waited more than twenty minutes for our appointment to begin even though we arrived early. However, when Eddie took over, our service was professional, fast, knowledgable. The only other problem is that there were no passport renewal applications available for customers who needed them

  • Craig M

No one answers the phone at the Old Fredericksburg Road location. I had to call pertaining a situation with a missing package and then a situation involving a question regarding passports over the last few months. I attempted calling at different times throughout several days and the phone just rings and rings. Amazing how there is no accountability at this location.

  • David Williams

We got a note today saying our mailbox was full and that we have to pick it up from the post office, which is now closed for the weekend. There are at least a dozen package lockers available for overflow which is what usually happens (primarily due to junk mail). Now we have to go stand in line on a workday next weekend. Think we got a bad postal worker. Ridiculous.

  • Andrew Gu

I bought a USPS 1-day priority express label with 1-day guarantee. Then, it magically became two-day priority and got delivered after five days. They denied my refund request, even though USPS said money back guarantee. The worst ever USPS service and post office staff. I hope the crap USPS go bankrupt ASAP with this crappy service. Nightmare! Avoid them

  • Larry Brothwell

The manager at this place refuses to meet the American Disabilities Act requirements for handicap parking spaces. He only has two dedicated and lets an employee use one of them! I explained to him that as manager he can dedicate any space for his employee. In addition two spaces do not meet the requirements for the amount of parking spaces in his lot.

  • simonespiraling

This is the best Post Office. I sell online and ship a lot of items. The people that work the counters are the nicest and my items get scanned and shipped out quickly. My feedback is full of "fast shipping!" reviews. I don't understand the low star ratings, honestly. Out of all of the POs I have lived near/used, this one is definitely my favorite.

  • Lindsey Otto

I’d like to share how much I love this post office. All the workers are so super friendly and helpful. There is never too long of a line and if there is, it moves quickly. I generally dread the post office but I feel like I often leave this one having positive interactions with the staff and sometimes even a smile on my face!

  • PlanA Consulting

Horribel service. I agree with Laurie the same thing happened to me. I called because my mail is being returned to sender's saying I do not live at my address. I have lived there for over 2 years and I still live there. The lady was rude and put me on hold and after 20 minutes, she never came back to the line and I hung up.

  • Gregory Phillips

The telephone contact procedure is a joke. We need to fire all postal workers and make the mail private. The local post office (Oak Hill, Texas) will not answer the phone. The customer care center automated system does not have an option for my problem therefore a serious issue with my medical equipment was not resolved.

  • Nasreddin

Passport services are very slow. I had an appointment for my 3 kids. After waiting about three weeks for the appointment, the person there took only one (1) application. He was very slow, not understanding and not helpful at all. I have to schedule appointments again. I will certainly scedule them at another location.

  • Xt Cheng

I was told by one employee to get in the line for a service, and then after ~30min wait in the line, the manager at the counter told me they don't provide that service. The one-star is for the counter guy, who happened to be the manager, that comes across not care for customer need or willing to do anything.

  • Jessie de Virgilio

I came in absolutely dreading this visit, but Donna--lovely soul that she is--somehow made the process of getting government documents not only stress-free, but entirely pleasant. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, as well as just an altogether delightful person to pass the time with. Thank you Donna!!

  • Kim Kutner

So first off, let’s be clear, this is a government post office, so it’s only going to get so good. But thanks to Daryl, and the guy at the front helping with traffic flow, my experience was efficient, friendly and a little bit fun. It made me nicer to the next person coming in, so that’s saying something.

  • Jessica Pullin

I moved out of town in December of 2021 and I did a change of address on January 10th 2022 but I haven't received any of my packages that I was expecting in February. I called 3 times and every time I just got ringing then a busy signal. I have not been able to get in contact with a person to help me.

  • Carlos De La Cruz

Don't depend on this office to actually pay attention to requests. They'll lie and say the package is delivered when it's nowhere to be seen. The tracking number says delivered at the mailbox when the email from my delivery request says the package was delivered at my doorstep. Ridiculous

  • Daniel Combs

This post office was very slow and only staffed by one person while over 12 customers waited over 30min for the person to return to help. Very unorganized and unprofessional Ms. Donna was helping but did not have nearly enough help. I would avoid this post office if you can.

  • Nicki Wachsmann

Donna helped us today to renew our kids passports. She was absolutely wonderful. An experience I've been dreading for months went smoothly and we met such a nice person. Thank you, Donna. You were so sweet with our family and it was so nice to work with you. Many blessings

  • AP PA

They make you buy a roll of tape for a two inch opening of a lengthwise box. Rolls of tape right there. 2 inches but you need to buy their $4 tape otherwise you’re turned away to drive home and visit this nightmare of a place again. Equivalent to a DMV in Lucifer’s realm.

  • Christopher Leonard

Probably the most pleasant experience I ever experienced at any USPS office I've been too. Donna helped our fam of 4 today for getting passports and pictures and was so helpful and kind. From hearing every else around the other staff seemed to be just as helpful and kind.

  • Michael Tomasz

If every USPS employee was like Samantha, there would be no need for FedEx, DHL, or UPS. Thank you, Samantha, for going back inside on your way out the door to help me and my wife. You saved us and gave us the peace of mind we wanted, though didn't deserve for being late.

  • Evalyn Yaletchko

Excellent service but of course sometimes there is a line. They do seem a little bit demanding and in a rush but I guess that goes with the territory. It is in a great location and there are many oversized PO boxes which can be very helpful for businesses in the area.

  • Amanda Sylvie

Sending a big "Thank You!" out to Guy at the Oak Hill post office. We had a package that was lost, and he went above and beyond to check the packages in the back, printed off the tracking information, and called me the next day to provide an update. So helpful!!!

  • Elisa Salinas

employees were very unfriendly and unhelpful to me and everyone else i saw them interact with. how many negative reviews does a place need to receive before they get rid of the problem and staff people who enjoy assisting the people who walk through the door?

  • Paul Haskins

Not sure why they have a phone number because no one answers. Insane wait times and they lose or destroy mail. Paid $20 to send a sensitive document 90 miles away and they lost the certified mail. I would have used ups but they can't send to P.O Box numbers.

  • Joanne Day

Always have to wait in line at the Post Office. That is just a fact of life. I had great customer service from Guy. All the clerks were pleasant and greeted everyone they interacted with with a smile and have a great day. Thanks for working on Saturday.

  • Agnieszka Erickson

2 out of the last 3 deliveries my package is stuck in a parcel that the key that does not work. Tried to call 9 times and phone just hangs up. Now, I have to find a way to go to the post office so I can complain. All I want is the package I ordered.

  • Rachel Tuuk

Very good experience at this post office! Quite possibly the shortest amount of time I have waited at a post office before—and that was during the lunch hour, which I would usually expect to wait longer! The staff were very attentive and efficient.

  • Ken Dabkowski

Notice the vacant area to the left of the box...There used to be a post box there. Unfortunately for us and several others, that box (including all of our Christmas cards) have been stolen. Beware of using the outdoor drop boxes at this location.

  • Golden Thomas

I've had a PO Box here for 5+ years. I know the USPS gets a bad rap. But these guys/gals have never been anything be pleasant to me. Kind. Normal people. I think if you go in not being a crazy maniac angry person, they'll be wonderful to you.

  • Eric

This location will not answer the phone. Don't bother trying, you will have to drive to this location to speak with anybody even for simple questions about your package. Waited 20 minutes to be told to come back the next day and I confirmed

  • Justin Wallace

Very friendly people working here. I have a P.O. box at this location and am here once or twice a week. I needed to mail out an important envelope one afternoon, and, in a fashion typical of me, forgot my wallet. I was about to drive across

  • Joshua Bank

The last few certified mail pieces I’ve received were not brought to my home for signature & receipt. They were just placed in my mailbox with the green card removed and (presumably) thrown away. This may be local policy due to either the

  • Amber Nelson

YOU negative reviewers kill me - you are a bunch of whiny, damaged, self-important wastes of oxygen. "Oh poor me, my mail is causing me grief. Oh whaaaaaaa the lady at the post office was mean to me" I'd bet my house that you'd be a jerk

  • Nubia Regalado

I showed up a day early for my passport appointment. Kirti has back to back appointments but was courteous enough to take me in still. It was much appreciated as I drove 2 hours from Austin to make this appointment. Thank you Kirti!

  • Life Ali

Eddie went above and beyond his job duties to assist my families and me with applying for passports on a very short notice. I am grateful for his assistance and knowledge. We were out of the post office in no time. Thank you Eddie!

  • Kelly G

I typically try to avoid the post office at all costs, but had to go to get a mailbox key replaced. I was pleasantly surprised as the employees were much more pleasant and efficient than in the past. Thank you Perla, Rene & Darryl!

  • Marie Platt

Eddie at the oak hills location was amazing, his customer service skills were beyond our expeditions. He helped us with our paperwork and was very knowledgeable . AmaZing how someone with a positive attitude can make your day.

  • Mariah Cook-Holm

Today I had an appointment to get a passport. I walked in and was greeted by a very nice woman. Ron helped me afterward to get my passport. He took my picture and walked me through the process. He was so kind and informative!!

  • WWKJR

I am not sure why there are negative reviews. Yes they are usually busy. This is my go to post office when I want to ship something. They have always been professional and courteous. And this is probably why they are so busy.

  • Rachel K

This is honestly the absolute worst post office I have ever been to in my life. Do yourself a favor and just avoid at all costs. I’m not sure why, or how, this post office is still up and running. It needs to be shut down.

  • Ramon Farmer

This is an awesome post office!! The staff is pleasant and respectful. They have given me helpful money saving tips to ship my packages! I am very happy they are part of my community! You guys rock!!!

  • Lee Stokes Hilton

This is the nicest group of postal workers I think I've ever come across. Never an unkind word, always patient. Not the fastest in the world, but knowledgeable and helpful, which makes up for a lot.

  • Chandler Schmidt

Said my package was being held at the facility at my request which I did not and when I went there and waited 20 mins they said it was still on the truck and would be delivered the next day

  • Abed Trawi

Worst service ever. There was only one lady at the counter. She went inside and has been there for 15 minutes. The line is now around 20 people with no one at the counter. I am leaving.

  • Leo Cashin

Adnan was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable about my passport renewal today and stayed late to check it and send it out. I am really grateful. Thank you, Adnan. Greatly appreciated

  • Damion Maxwell Jr

Eddie was very kind and welcoming. I was having a pretty frustrating experience at FedEx and got to the post office in a less than positive mood. He really helped and was very friendly.

  • C B

Rob is great!! He is patient and personable, which I don't see at a lot of post offices. He keeps his cool and doesn't lose his patience when people are being dumb. Give him a raise!!

  • Jonathan

One of the worst even for a post office. They make the DMV experience a pleasure. It’s a shame too because there are a handful of folks here who are doing. A great job.

  • Max A

I would put 0 stars if I could. One person in the entire post office, and they didn’t allow me to pick up my package after I got the notice to pick it up.

  • Vishwath Bhandary

Donna at the passport line is pleasure to work with , She explains the requirements and always ready to help if we have any questions.

  • Eddie A.

Post Office finally decided to take walk-ins at this location, as well as, other PO's acceptance locations.
