"Check your ticket before you pay"
Okay parking in central location. Can understand why some drivers don't like it as can be a bit of a tight squeeze. Lucky I have a small car, but you can definitely park your 4WD here, just be careful and take your time around the bends. Waiting for the lifts to get up and down is annoying, would prefer if there were stairs to walk up and down rather than catching a lift. Also, be careful if you pre-booked a spot, I did and followed the instructions to enter and exit but I STILL got charged twice (once for my prebooking and twice for the day as I had to use my cc to enter and exit the parking spot) currently awaiting Wilson parking to review my request for the refund, highly annoying that I've been charged twice and having to go through this debacle!
-The turns are incredibly tight. You can see scrape marks all along the walls on the exits, to the point where they're practically warnings of what you're about to go through. We managed to get by but it was sketchy. -The lifts are constantly out of order, according to people who go there regularly. We experienced one being out of order when we got there and both when we got back... But the stairs were also locked. We had to walk up the ramp. Two disabled people in our group. -We pre-booked but when we got there, had to pay again. Luckily it was cheap but we still ended up wasting our money. I mean. Its cheap. Thats the only good tbing. I dont personally think its worth the money. Pay a bit more and stay safe.
We thought we would plan ahead & booked a space in this carpark on a Saturday night. We arrived at the time we’d booked but drove around for almost half an hour without finding a park. There were numerous other cars obviously doing the same. After half an hour we left, incredibly frustrated, to try & find parking elsewhere (rainy Saturday night in the city, was a complete nightmare!). We had to pay to park elsewhere, further from the restaurant & were almost an hour late to our dinner. Incredibly frustrated that they can sell pre paid parking spots for a completely full carpark.
Their stairwells constantly smell of urine, and their lifts are frequently out of order Ticket machine refused to give me change for a $50, instead of denying the transaction so i could use the other ticket machine it merely gave me a credit that can only be redeemed upon contact of their administration team. Upon multiple contacts of their 24 hour immediate issue resoloution line my call has been immediatly hung up on multiple times without even reaching an operator. If it weren't for their almost complete monopoly on city parking i would not use them again.
Check your ticket before you pay. This car park charges more then what the tariff board shows. This is illegal!! I was suppose to be charged $79 for the max daily fee and instead got charged $102 and not even the person on the intercom could tell me why and was told nothing they can do and must just pay it. They couldn't even change the charge so that I pay the $79. Well they will learn now, that difference of $23 is going to cost Wilson thousands in legal fees as I have instructed my attorney to take the matter further.
Very disappointing. We are disgusted with the absolutely unconcerned and entitled attitude of the customer service after we got overcharged on weekend and overnight parking. The customer services agent was uninterested in giving a clear explanation and ignored my requests for a breakdown of charges to understand exactly what happened. Are the agents not trained to deal with basic customer services issues or is the company just OK with not dealing with it?
Despite spending hundreds of dollars there a month (with receipts to prove it), this is the second time I've been accused of illegally parking a motorcycle. I will respect their wishes however, and cease patronising any paid Wilson parking with either bike or car. At $82.66 for a few hours its at the higher end compared to other parking stations in this area. I was willing to pay it to save a few minutes walk, but if I am not welcome, I feel no loss.
Too tight and cramped, no parks available even when we book in advance. People parked on the ramps making it even more difficult to drive in. Level 1 smells like a sewer pipe has burst. not to mention the lack of accessibility after hours. Had to find a security guard to reluctantly let us back in through the hotel. Honestly don't waste your time with this one. Better off parking at market city or the ICC.
This is misleading advertising. It clearly says the flat rate its $20, no conditions, no terms, nothing else you should do! Then you end up paying $34. $24 for the parking service that suppose to be $20 and $10 they will give you as a credit in the future which is totally unfair. If you are reading this, get ready to be charge more than you expect in a Wilson carpark.
I'm mostly to blame for driving into Sydney but I didn't realise there would be no street parking like back in Melbourne and we parked here. Total extortion. We saw the sign but had no choice to park but I should have just exited as quickly as I entered. $79 for parking is not ok. I normally don't post negative reviews but I need to warn other people xx
Decent carpark how ever one time I had to leave half an hour earlier than the early bird 3.30pm because of an emergency and they didn't want to rewrite the ticket for me I had to pay $82. If I had to leave at 12 or 1 I wouldn't mind paying the full rate but half an hour to pay the maximum is unfair specially for someone that parks here 5 days a week
Typical Sydney carpark. Steep. Cramped. Relatively dirty. Relatively expensive. Says secure capark, but what's actually so secure about this overpriced concrete structure? I don't see any security guards ever. At least it's well lit and has some music from the nearby club on some nights. Oh and the public toilets on ground floor are disgraceful.
Good location but obviously you pay a premium for it. If your are staying longer than 3 hours you end up with $82, so depending on where you come from catching a Uber might be cheaper ;and definitely less stressful. One more positive note : This one has a clearance of 2.1 meter while many other in the CBD seem to have only 1.9 meter.
Plenty of parking, great location, can cost quite a bit at partucular times, would recommened to check where you are going for parkimh as they often have deals with wilson, can save a small fortune in some cases. Otherwise usually has parking available again the location has a lot to offer plenty to do near darling harbour.
I've only parked here once but the time I did, I got an excellent overnight rate of $5. Unbelievable for a Friday night. Conveniently located with walking distance to the city centre and Darling Harbour. Several levels of parking available so finding a spot shouldn't be an issue. Entries available on Kent St and Sussex St.
City car parks can be difficult for larger cars where you sometimes feel like the car park was designed as an after thought squeezed in amongst cement and sandstone. But this place has a spacious entry and is easy enough to get around inside in a Kluger. Online prepay is significantly cheaper than buying on the day.
Originally booked through the app, which said the carpark is open 24 hours - showed up to find the carpark closed at both entrances. Used the intercom at nearby Citipark carpark and they at least knew the problem existed and gave me a straight answer, allowing me to park for the price paid in a different carpark.
Someone fix the flickering lights! You keep upping the prices, but on every level there are dozens of flickering tubes, months if not years on end. Put some money back into this dump you selfish grubs. Also, the stairwells are a toilet, and that's partly because the Kent St toilets have been closed for years.
So ridiculous that you can use your credit card on your phone to pay at the gate, but cannot use it at the gate to access your prepaid booking. You have to use the actual card! But of course the gate is happy to take the payment from the phone and sting you for additional $86 after you've prepaid for $27.
Good rates for night time and weekends. Elevator took so long up to 8 min wait and then it was ro full to get on. Even though it was only level 4 alot of people just ended up walking down the stairs. But it would be hard for the pregnant women that still stayed there waiting.
Nice to see with all the empty shops throughout the city that Wilson Parking is still able to charge these rates. Plan ahead there are better/more affordable options, this parking is great for the unplanned, desperate and last minute parking.. But know you'll pay for it..
Left a backpack behind. Staff wouldn't take a description or EXACT location to retrieve for me as I live hours away and couldn't turn around. Have followed up with another phone call and no one has handed it in. Very disappointed in the staff here.
Multiple cars broken into in the same night. When the staff are advised they instructed to file a police report etc. But you would think with multiple reports of theft that something could be done about it. Or are the staff there behind it all?
The parking is great and the service of WILSON PARKING staff - especially ADMIN is the best! We use the parking in Sydney regularly and it is a good value for money- especially the 'early bird'. All the best to the team! Best regards.
In my 25 years living in Sydney, this is THE WORST parking I have seen. The operator could not even confirm whether I was at the right building. The customer service is TERRIBLE. Do yourself a favour and park somewhere else.
It’s convenient and good pricing for Earlybirds however, nothing ever works. Toilets are out of order permanently. The lifts are always broken really bad for anyone with a disability. I would avoid it and go somewhere else.
Not recommended at all.Totally scam. I just parked my car around 18 hours and they just charged me AUD 170. And when I going to tap and pay they asked for my physical card. This place is living in 19’s.
We drove in and parked the car. We came back, got in the car and drove to the boom gate. Stopped and paid, then drove out. So I guess the parking lot did exactly what we expected.
I hv been parking here since March , all good ... except the lifts... 2 Small lifts and one is them is “Out of Order” -80% of the days . Very hard to get in / out during peak hours. Thank you
Conveniently located for a short walk to Darling Harbour if you want to avoid the higher prices they charge closer. A bit tight to get in and out of, would be a challenge in a big SUV or 4x4.
Great location to access darling harbour at night. Night rates booked online via the Wilson parking app are $8 plus $1 booking fee equates to $9 till midnight on a weekday night!
Booked and paid for parking then when I tapped my card to enter was fraudulently charged $447 AVOID AVOID AVOID I will be referring this matter for recoveries plus costs
Close to Martin Place, Pitt Street Mall and the Apple Store. This is the cheapest parking space we could find on a weekend! Also close to light rail. Recommended!
Parked here for only 6 dollars whilst booking online. Process was smooth and had no issues. Only gripe was waiting forever for the lift due to the size.
Paid 102 dollars to park over night on a Friday night. Robbery.. not posted anywhere that it would be so expensive. The day rate was 79 dollars.
Very easy to find. The turns going up/down levels are exceptionally tight on a long station wagon. Great location for access to Darling Harbour.
i have booked parking online. Even i have used my card for entry exit. They charged me $96.19. Scam in the name of parking. Worst service ever.
total scam this parking, just over 1 hour you will be charge $68, No indication of the prices until you are stuck inside and can't go back.
Great spot to park and short walk to Darling Harbour and the QVB, parking is easy and when leaving it is easy to head north out of the city
Pathetic customer service - I booked early bird and a glitch in their system left me with a $85 charge, despite being a long term customer
Lights are flashing ever for every level and dark which never get fixed. Please respect your customers and provide a nice place
Down loaded the app to make life easier and found it was $8.00 more expensive than getting a ticket at the drive through booth.
SCAM WARNING! Find somewhere else to park. They advertised a rate of $80 for an overnight stay but charged $170. STAY AWAY
Cheaper rates compared to other car parks. However it can be hard to find parking. Booking ahead of time is recommended.
I'll never take a bus on the weekend after discovering this. Plus you get a discount if you validate at the aquarium!
Used it on a weekend when one of the lifts was broken. Having to wait nearly half an hour for the 1 lift not fun.
One one lift working (and speaking to others has been like it for months). Thus getting to/from car a nightmare
Convenient parking near Wynyard station. Lifts are a bit small, so if it’s busy you’ll be squished in
Machine was broken upon entry, had to pay again with my phone when I'd already booked and paid online
Great carpark & easy to get to but check prices as Weekend day rate has increased from $20 to $35!!!
Expensive, but you could get discount with Sydney aquarium tickets. Check before you book/park.
Very convenient location in the Sydney CBD close to Darling Harbour & Barangaroo. Recommended.
You will always find a spot here and its walking distance from a lot of places in that area.
The worst car park in the world. Random pillers everywhere and impossible to park.
You can book online and price will be cheaper than taking a ticket at the entrance
Extremely unpleasant smell of urine ,only thought about this place come to mind
Lifts suck, Everytime I'm Park there 1lift is always out of order. Very poor
Decent place to park and pay BUT the drive way is really tight for a big car
Cheap parking in the city on weekends. Lift is slow and only one working.
It's alright, although you will have to pay a few bucks to park inside.
Very tight turns for a large 4x4. Easy to scrape rim on concrete kerb.
Good weekend rate but the ramp is a bit of a pain to get in and out.
Be careful with the corners driving down. Very tight narrow path.
Great location and weekend rates. Try and use early bird today
Handy parking (good location) with really good online rates.
Can be full at times. Fri-Sun After 5pm till 6am. Only $12.
Quick, easy and smooth experience Will use again next time
The hunt begins as u enter. Gud luck going thru 7 floors
Convenient location, design of the car park is not good
Convenient entry/exit from 2 different onw-way streets
good location, reasonable price. easy to book online.
Some tight corners but good value for weekend parking
Done the job near darling harbour well priced secure
Very convenient. Book it online for better rates
Good spot for parking during weekend city visit
Good weekend rate. Helpful and friendly staff.
Good weekend rate, pre booking ensures a spot.
$82 for 4 hours, absolutely disgraceful scam
Great all night parking at affordable price
Great place to park if visiting the city.
Small car park. At least it had a lift!
The parking cost is a little bit high.
Good location and rate for Sydney CBD
Early bird rate is reasonable. $30.
