"Horrible operator staff"
"Easy to drive in from Somerset St at the roundabout"
"Don’t park here"
"Stay away and park elsewhere if you can"
"Signage is confusing, from out west we don't have muti storey carparks, 2 days being stuffed around between emergency, public and private only to come back to a fine on the second day in the same spot as the day before"
Horrible operator staff. I tried to pay $13.50 parking but the machine did not work. I tried to call the operator, after multiple times trying it did not work, he asked me to get off the car and walk to ticket machine to pay off the parking and come back. I asked him whether if there is any other way as many cars were behide me, it was hard to reverse plus i am in an urgent emergency situation. He told me "no, reverse otherwise he would not let me go". I then reversed but the machine did not return the ticket to me, the other car already speedingly headed up and got out of the gate with his ticket. I came back and told him that i did not have the ticket after talking to him. He told me that he would have been able to write you a receipt so you can pay later but now you don't have the ticket, i will issue you $86 fine, wait for your fine. I broke and cried. How on earth there were super rude and heartless operator like that!! When i resolved my business, i called Wilson parking and they said there would be no issue, it was the machine's fault and it was not a big issue, you didn't mean not to pay. Today i received service nsw penalty for the parking on that day. Unbelievable!!! Can't believe that a person who works for hospital spots behaved the way for $13. I didn't mean not paying that amount. I just needed help so that i quickly get out to get medicines for my daughter who was in the emergency department at the time.
Easy to drive in from Somerset St at the roundabout. Tickets need to be paid at machines near the lifts (or validated in the hospital, if you are a concession, or at Patient Enquiries desk in South Block, if you are a private patient). 8 floors of parking, with lifts (although one weekend I got stuck in the lifts twice, so now I take the fire exit stairs. They're faster too). Exit is left turn only onto Derby St, but then you can just go around the roundabout to go back to Parker St. Parking is expensive; first 15 minutes are free, then $6.80 for half an hour, $10.10 for first hour.
Don’t park here. Highly expensive firstly, secondly the machine charged me twice and the staff member working was super rude and unhelpful and last but not least, I contacted head office about it and also informed them about their staff member and I didn’t even receive an apology or an explanation or anything, just a “send me the bank statements” Absolutely terrible, no longer supporting this company. I’d rather park on the street and walk than pay huge amounts for crappy service.
Stay away and park elsewhere if you can. The parking is way over priced and gets very expensive if you have to visit everyday. They are only out to gouge your wallet. Be careful and don't park in the hospital in no parking zones or up on the very wide footpath outside the west wing where the hospital vehicles illegaly park . I have seen visitors fined for parking in those places but they turn a blind eye to the hospital vehicles.
Signage is confusing, from out west we don't have muti storey carparks, 2 days being stuffed around between emergency, public and private only to come back to a fine on the second day in the same spot as the day before. I just broke down and cried, I was just holding it together till I saw the fine., I so hate this place, too many people and buildings and bad hospitals.
Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces available but could do with some public toilets. I can't walk very far and was parked there for nearly 3 hours while waiting for my son who was having an anaesthetic so wouldn't be able to drive home. The nearest toilets were quite a walk away in the hospital; not good if one is in need.
Must be early for dissable parking but it is a good ground level but bit of a disadvantage if you have to travel upper levels
Plenty of parking, but as others have already said, it is quite expensive and try to find some parking on the street instead
Typical parking structure, able to take larger vehicles. No dedicated pedestrian walkways other than around the elevators.
Spacious parking but very expensive and unaffordable for those who visit regularly. Very limited street parking nearby
Out of owners should not have to a parking fee even if it is discounted just nepean ripping the sick off Shame shame
Great location to park for the new Castlereagh Radiology & I'm guessing other allied services in the new building.
Today I had to go to level 4 to get a park usually im on level 2 it was a busy day for the hospital
Only if your a pensioner and stay under 3 hours other wise try to find parking somewhere else
Disgraceful how much you have to pay for parking when you need medical help.
Plenty of easy undercover parking , for pensioners , free for a few hours .
Great, Found a park on floor 2. Went to oral health. came back. No charge.
Decent parking area however not enough spots for a growing population
Easy to find parking spots, especially if you make a booking before.
Even WHEN Full or Almost Full can do a circuit and get a park!
Very expensive parking in a and e carpark even on a pension.
Plenty of spaces, though time limits can be a tad tight
Needs carpark rates on street before you enter carpark
You can park cars here!!! Who would have thought?!?!
Fills up fast . Can be parked on top floor by 9 am.
Afternoon parking is taken by am shift hectic
