"I booked in advance and guess what, spent 30 minutes trying to find a car spot but I couldn't so eventually I had to leave and go to another car park (Wilson as well) the funny thing I had to pay for the other car park"
"BEWARE before using Wilson “book-a-bay”, they might double charge you!!! I have pre-booked parking using “book a bay”for 8-Dec-2018 11:30am to 6pm for Sussex street Darling Park carpark, and the Wilson website deducted $12"
"Parking for Darling Harbour Darling Park Car Park, Wilson’s Car Park, Sussex St Sydney What a great spot to park on the weekend for direct access to Darling Harbour via internal overhead bridge to Cockle Bay, and/or to go to Sydney city"
"This place engages in false advertising"
"for the first time I came with a car that is not mine and I get treated like a second hand citizen"
I booked in advance and guess what, spent 30 minutes trying to find a car spot but I couldn't so eventually I had to leave and go to another car park (Wilson as well) the funny thing I had to pay for the other car park. This is a daylight robbery, apparently they keep selling tickets for a specific car park and they can't guarantee if you will be able to get a car spot and what makes if worse if you end up leaving and going to another Wilson parking then you have to pay again!! It's 2022 and Wilson parking can't invest in their infrastructure meaning they should have vehicle detection sensors installed so when the car park is full then people should be aware, this is beneficial for people who want to book in advance or for people who drive up so at least people can tell the car park is full. Thank you for wasting my time and for ripping me off.
BEWARE before using Wilson “book-a-bay”, they might double charge you!!! I have pre-booked parking using “book a bay”for 8-Dec-2018 11:30am to 6pm for Sussex street Darling Park carpark, and the Wilson website deducted $12.50 from my credit card already. I arrived at 11:51 and exit at 17:56 (which is within my booking date time), I followed all the instructions to use the same car as registered, same credit card to tap when enter and tap when exit, but upon exiting, the machine charge me another $15.12 again!!! I have emailed them with screenshots of all my receipts and there’s a automatic email reply with a case number and then nothing else nothing happened no communication, no refund until now. I know Wilson is BIG , but you can’t just double charge people and pretend nothing happened.
Parking for Darling Harbour Darling Park Car Park, Wilson’s Car Park, Sussex St Sydney What a great spot to park on the weekend for direct access to Darling Harbour via internal overhead bridge to Cockle Bay, and/or to go to Sydney city. This place engages in false advertising. We parked our car there on Sat 24th of September and we read on the "what's on at Darling harbour " Web pages that this car park offers free parking this weekend if you spend $50 OR MORE on ANY OF THE COCKLE BAY VENUES. We read you need to provide a receipt to someone at the security office. We brought a receipt from blackbird Cafe but there was nobody at the security office at 2.45pm. We called and the guy talking to us sounded completely indifferent and rude. He told us they don't accept receipts from blackbird cafe. This guy blatantly lied to us
for the first time I came with a car that is not mine and I get treated like a second hand citizen. my friends and I decided to go out on and eat/drink/whatever until 3 am. some of the places at cockle wharf said show your receipt to get free parking and I tried to do that but got humiliated by the security guard and the parking guy who pretended not know anything about it. I checked online and tried to explain to him but he wouldn't listen and asked me to pay so I did and left. it's not about the money it's about the disrespect and treatment
false advertising. on their own website it say ------ Weekend Sat - Sun $15.00 Flat rate per exit, per day ------- But, this place will charge you for every hour after 5pm even know it say " Flat rate per exit, per day", we had to pay $30 (10am - 5:17pm, Sunday 22/01/17). If you going to charge it at-least put on you website. PS. When you push the button to speak to someone on the pay machine just he just blame it us for not looking at the time properly (after 5pm), Without looking at they own website pay hourly rate. terrible.
How are they allowed to get away with their prices is beyond me. $79 for 3 hrs??? It's cheaper parking in Sydney airport for $33 for 2-3hrs and catch a train to darling harbour. Their is nothing to the car park it's not like their is security 24/7. Prices are not displayed outside before you enter the car park. They are displayed inside so once you drive in you have no choice. Your still up for $9 if you want to go back out. So it's a lose lose situation. Public transport all the way!! Save $79 and petrol. Never again!!
Relatively straight and normal car park, plenty of space to move without crashing into corners or poles. It has two sections connected by an underground tunnel. If you're going towards Darling Harbour then you want to go to the far section which is Tower 3. He has a lift straight towards the pedestrian bridge over the highway. The Block where you drive in is.closer.to the main CBD area. Although they are all connected by the main lobby area so there is no problem if you go to the wrong side.
Beautiful wide, clean, clearly signposted, easy to enter & exit. If you have a massive twin cab Mitsubishi Triton fitted with aluminium tray, bull bar & towbar then it's a bit hard to negotiate the up & down ramps, particularly with unthinking, uncaring corner cutters in a hurry to exit after work! Also quite difficult to find a park when you're trying not to poke out too much!! Use the Wilson app to book, its a snack to park, enter, exit & pay.
Pre Paid Booked Flexi Saver thought it would be smooth parking. But while exit was charged extra. Spoke to customer service told me that because i have used apple pay system will charge you. Have to go through refund process. Spoke to representative I was told have to read fine print before parking condition. Leading parking provider but could not become smart and solve issue with Smart Pay transaction.
absolute worst service and attitude from the operator on the intercom. I called them on intercom asked to adjust my parking fees as agreed previously, woman answered the intercom with extremely rude attitude, started to yell as i couldn't hear very well from the poor speaker on the intercom. absolute trash and shocked to see someone with that kind of attitude can find a job in service industry.
fine to get in and park but the minute you try to leave it’s hell! we got stuck at the boom gate for about 15 minutes (blocking traffic) because our card wasn’t letting us out. we had to call twice to get out and we “parked in the wrong car park”! we were in sussux st and in wilson’s car park in darling park. don’t recommend buying pre paid parking, no matter how cheep. it’s such a hassle.
This is by far the worst experience with a parking garage I've ever had, our car car was broken in to within a number of hours, the entire place reeks of stale urine, there is no security presence, and the only cameras they have are the ones that check your number plate on the way in to make sure they can rob you of your hard earned money for your brief stay in their appalling facility.
Great location and easy access undercover to darling harbour. Definately book online ahead if you can. Got a super price on the weekend. Would break the bank if you just rocked up and parked. Some small, narrow and tight areas to park but if you are a capable driver you'll have no issues. Plenty of spots available in the main tower areas too if the offshoots are too tight.
I really like Wilson parking very convince and resonable price, I booked online and forgot to enter the parking with my credit card and got the parkng ticket, end of the night on my way out remembered I shouldn't get ticket so I called the staff through the intercom a lovely lady checked my online booking and let me out. Very happy with their services
Huge, clean and easy to navigate carpark with good signage. Perfect option for visiting Darling Harbour with the connecting over-road enclosed footbridge. Certainly one of the nicest carparks I’ve ever visited. Reasonably priced parking is available by booking ahead via BookABay which I’d highly recommend to save some coin!
I think there is someone always watching cars for breaking in. I have experienced twice when I return to my car that my car boot is open and sign of someone searching inside my car. I noticed like open cigarette trays and open boot. I even have to fix my car door lock as I can't lock my car back ! Not secure at all.
Book online for cheaper pricing, although you can be scammed as per the long weekend. Advertised at entrance on the LED billboard that day rate all long weekend is $15. Complained to the guard and he could do nothing. I paid $18 done by $3, but will never get it back all carparks are rip offs.
$14 evening rate on a friday night. Close to cockle bay and convenient access to and from the car park. Can be a little confusing the first time when you walk through the office lobbies to get to cockle bay escalators but apart from that it's a great spot. Weekend prices even lower, I believe.
Terrible service specifically late at night. Pay machines don’t take the new $5 note, and when you try to explain this to the person through intercom, they tell you that you’re wrong and they have a horrible attitude. Absolute tossers who clearly hate their lives. Get a new job.
Booked a bay, using exactly the payment card in instruction. Still double charged me. Requested refund for weeks and no refund, no email, no response. Worst parking ever. I will wait for one more week and if no refund I will file a complaint on fair trade.
Wilson Parking keeps their standard pretty well, Great car keeper at the exit with the driver and customer service is far beyond this world can understand. Hope we can have a future app that can park & share the parking just like UBER does.. soon
Normally i park another same street only 13$ . today first time i been there for parking only 1 hours there charge me 58$ .. expensive for 1 hours parking.. that's price you can paying full petro for your car .. don't recommend this one …
Absolute rip off. Would've taken the train to the city but due to some whining train drivers, I had no other choice. $79 for 3+ hours of parking. Do your research for parking in the city and might save yourself a few bucks.
Got a good offer on weekend. The reason that I'm not happy and giving 3 stars only is that the mid height concrete scratched tailgate of my car. It wasn't possible to see it and I think it encroaches into car park envelope.
Charged us $20 even though we left within 15 minutes. Firstly surely there should be a grace period for if you change your mind/get lost. Secondly we were only meant to pay $9 flat rate as it was a weekend!!
You advertise in a LED board attracting people into the Carpark, $9 for entry after 5pm and exit before 6am. How can you advertise this when you close at 10pm and don't reopen until 6am?! What a joke.
I parked in this place on Saturday this week. It should charge me $12 per exit per day. But I spent $24 for my parking. Why $24? It’s Saturday!! This parking tricked us. You may be the next one.
Don't park here if you need to get to Hilton , QVB etc - a nightmare to get out of and back into on the weekend. Better parks closer. Terrible experience & noone around to ask for help .
Early bird rates and conditions not shown until you are inside the carpark. Credit card surcharge not shown until after you've paid - misleading and deceptiive conduct, and illegal.
I always park at the darling park carpark for it's proximity to darling harbour, it's a lot cleaner than other carparks and the spots are more spacious to fit larger suvs
There spot is right in the middle of where all the clubs and bars and restaurants in cockle bay wharf. The price for flat rate is reasonable. Great parking spot.
Three stars as it's very expensive! Why a parking shold be this expensive and raise their prices up as well while it's always 3/4 empty …
As far as city parking goes, I’m willing to say this is about as good as it gets. Clean, simple to navigate, wide spaced and well attended.
Decent carpark with plenty of space however people don’t know how to steer their cars around corners. Gotta be careful around ricers…
This car park is close to many attractions in Sydney CBD. Great weekend rate as well. Make sure you book online to get the best rate.
You charge $87 dollars for a lost parking ticket. I don't think I've seen a bigger ripoff in my entire life. Excluding the iPhone X.
Perfectly located in busy place.. But weekends and weekday by lunch time this place get really busy and hard to find parking lots
Great gem of a spot to park your car during weekends for a very reasonable daily flat rate. Safe, secure and never had an issue.
Easy wellaid out arrangements even 4weekend. 7min walk to king st wharf & if booking online goodeal, better than catching a cab
Quite overpriced, pay machines are always broken. It's at least at a prime location with access to most places in Sydney.
Nice parking but for $79 it’s cheaper to catch a flight to the Gold Coast honestly the pricing is way too costly.
Lots of spots to park your car! It’s a car park. We got a deal and paid $5 on a Saturday night yeehaw …
Very confusing car park as its a mix of public and private parking and hard to figure out where to go
Best parking close to Darling Harbour, It is cheap to book online specially for weekends,,,
Wilson Parking, plenty of options throughout the city to park. Good value for money!
cheap flat rate on weekends, elevators are very small and slow to exit/enter from
Clean, organized entry/exit, reasonable parking space. Overrated prices as usual.
Too expensive for sundays. Not so comfortable parking location. But very clean.
Bad service Unfriendly & over priced if you would lose your ticket by accident
Safe place to park but can be pricy. Weekends are always good value.
Cheaper in weekend and closed to many attractions like aquarium.
The genral issue that they always charge as per their own way...
Well priced long term parking for cruise ship passengers
Hassle free booking online. $31 overnight not too bad.
One in the cheapest in Sydney I recommend it $15 great
Always choose Wilson for parking. It's what we trust.
Need to be Marked well. Hard to find your parked car
The early bird deal is one of the best in the city
Very convenient and easy access to Darling Harbour
Prepay after 5pm, cheaper than public transport!
Wilson parking tends to be a rip off like here.
Clean with ample availability over the weekend
Easy parking and convenient to Darling Harbour
Security staff would assault people verbally
We always park here. Easy to park and find.
$34 all day parking in CBD- Sussex Street..
Good Customer Service, Reasonable Prices
Quite a nice place to sit and rest
Perfect location, reasonable price
A good parking place for weekend.
