I'm French so I know a good baguette when I see one. Nothing bearing the name of baguette looked like it, let alone tasted like it. But I bought one yesterday (from a super helpful French girl!), and it was extra crusty, the taste was on point, exactly the way I love my bread. It was as if I'd gone back to France, but without having to buy an expensive plane ticket... If you want to know what true bread tastes like, don't look any further, you're at the right place!

Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, it is a modest bread stand selling nice pastry treats and lovely sourdough bread. I like to drop by Woodfrog to pick up a couple of fruit buns to snack on my way home from work. The friendly service and wide variety of carb treats will please everyone. Extra credit goes to the guy working at the stand throughout Melbourne’s chilly winter and without an outdoor heater.

The baguette is so good here. It can live up to French standards regarding a good baguette, and I feel I can say this after living a year in France. Delicious crust and soft inside. If you pass by at the end of the day, you can get 2 x $5.00. I haven’t tried the other breads but when I do, shall let you know. They also have croissants and pain au chocolate.

I've never stopped mid bite to write a review before now. Sensational little bakery/patisserie stand out front of the ANZ bank building on Elizabeth St. The bocadillo here are simply "correct" in every way, and I've got very high hopes for the raspberry pastry in the next paper bag ;) ;)

Great little bakery that's along the road, it's a bit tricky to find as it looks like it's inside the ANZ building, but it's a small kiosk on the street side. Had lovely bread, which stayed nice and fluffy even after a couple of days worth a stop if you're walking past.

Had their raspberry danish, excellent in the fact that the custard was only subtlely sweet and that much emphasis was placed on the raspberries' sourness. Bought mine at the Arts centre's Sunday Markey. Amazing.

At least they take card. Almond croissant was too sweet, tasted like just sugar pasta inside with some dodgy chocolate drizzled on top. Sandwiches look ok thou yet expensive, leave it for the bankers on Collins

The best bread I've ever had in Australia... so crusty and delicious! I buy a baguette on the way home, and before I know it I'm walking through the front door with just crumbs to show for it. Bellissimo!

Stale bread from a stale attendant, dont bother. (St kilda rd sunday market) Left over duck bread from the banks of the yarra might taste the same but at least the ducks would greet you better.

Best baguettes in Melbourne. Doesn't get much better than this - a tiny cart in a convenient location slinging out some of the best baked goods at great prices.

  • Cathy T

Bought the olive and normal baguette, love it! The almond crossiants are equally good, not too sweet with aroma of fresh bake and just enuf slices of almond.

  • Vio Sink.

Great baguette very tasty. 10$ is still expensive but compared to the other options around really worth it! Very friendly costumer service.

  • Peter Coonawarra

Best baguettes in Melbourne - in truth the only ones worth the name. The other breads are also excellent. Not cheap but worth the money.

  • Lisa Yuan

Been getting way more compliments on my lunches now that I've been making my sandwiches with bread from woodfrog!!! LOL ✌ …

  • Esther Sentoso

Really good croissant and blueberry danish! If you go after 5 or whenever they’re about to close shop, it’s $10 for 3 pastries.

  • Saira Karim

Best croissants in the cbd esp the almond one. No wonder everything sells out quick from this pop up bakery. …

One of the most delicious Baguette I've ever eaten and with olives too. Ready to prepare a tasty sandwich.
