First time viewing a movie at new plaza cinema. The movies shown are wonderful, usually foreign films. This little theater is very old. Seats are somewhat uncomfortable, no place to put a drink or bottle. Screen is small in comparison to other theaters. I wish they would clean up the room some. There are garbage cans around the theater and a desk in the corner. Felt like I was in someone’s messy office. It was a little disconcerting. How does a theater run without selling any drinks or snacks? You’re watching a movie that’s close to 3 hours and have to sit there thirsty. A small concession stand is definitely needed. The movies chosen are the best part.

SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE! MUCH NEEDED ON THE UPPER WESTSIDE. I AM REFERRING TO THE THEATER ON W. 86TH ST. BETWEEN BROADWAY AND AMSTERDAM. IT'S ONLY BEEN OPEN A MONTH AS OF THIS REVIEW, 4/26, 2022. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY OTHER REVIEWS ARE MUCH OLDER THAN THAT.

I rented a film for 3 days and stopped before it was over. Now I can't resume without renting it again. There are no contacts to reach out to.
