Refused to certify my document, I asked why. He said that they aren't allowed anymore. He said the rule changed. I said I was here last week. He said the rule changed today (what are the chances of that). He then told me that they aren't certifying documents because of C19 cases being positive at the station. LIES. There has been 1 Covid case in the whole of Preston in the last few weeks and it wasn't at the police station. He then told me to "upload my document to a justice of the peace" right. Ok. Even it that was a thing (it's not) they need to see the original! So, instead of doing his job, he refused me service and made me go to the chemist where I will have to visit not once but twice to get my certificate (risking more exposure sites). If your whole logic is you don't want people going into the station, put a sign up out the front that says you aren't certifying documents. Don't wait until I am inside to lie to my face. I am fully vaccinated, was in a mask and have been following every single rule for 18 months.

My daughters car was written off on the 20th of dec 2018 whilst parked outside her home. Police were contacted and a report given to them of the number plate off the offending car as they left the scene without exchanging details. She has contacted the police numerous times only to be told the officer dealing with this will be in later and would give her a call. Well guess what no effort to contact her has been made whatsoever. So today one month later she calls yet again and finally gets the officer handling the case to be told they are not sure what to do as the owner of the car is in a physc ward. And they are unable to find out who was driving the car at the time. My daughter a young driver herself is now out of pocket and has to deal with having to purchase another car and in tears knowing she doesn't really have the money to get as good a car as she had. Police communication from this officer is absolutely disgusting. Police want respect and help from the general public yet are unable to help the victims.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to the beautiful officer you have working for you. I managed to get locked out of my apartment building when the entrance keypad failed..in my pjs while receiving an Uber eats order. I was feeling super vulnerable as it was after curfew and my phone was on 2%. I didn’t have any way into the building or anywhere else to go, and I felt stupid but I called the Preston police station. The officer was so incredibly kind, made me feel safe and somehow managed to track down and contact another resident in my apartment building to ask them to come down to the foyer and let me in. I’m actually amazed at how supportive and efficient the officer was, I’ve never felt so confident in our coppers. Please pass on to her and her superiors what a wonderful, kind and quick thinking officer

My husband attended Preston Police Station to have a Life Certificate for the German Pension Authority signed by a police officer. He needs that every year, same as me for the Austrian Pension Authority. The Form is in german, english and french stating the purpose, which is to confirm that the person presenting him/herself is alive. Although my husband explained what the form is for and the purpose is clearly stated in english the officer said "No, I cannot sign this, I don't know what it is." My husband then went to the Commonwealth Bank and they signed the form without hesitation. Very strange.

I must say to watch policeman from Preston police station act the way they did with that poor disadvantaged man is deplorable.that man with the batton and the hose.my god .do the police have any tactics bar being absolute bookies.mediate a situation.nothing but thuggery .a dark day in thecforceci would say batton man and hose man should be put before a judge for battery.thuggery and COP there whack.that poor man was helped out by there attendance .ha.there to help.butvend up bashing a man.shame on Preston police officers and Victoria police.shame!!!

After watching the footage of what occured to that man, the behaviour of the cops involved is utterly indefensible. This is Melbourne, not Rio de Janeiro. We should be able to trust those who are employed to "serve and protect" and to see this footage is going to make me think twice about calling your department if necessary in future. I have great admiration for the police force as a whole, but to see that not 1 but SIX officers acting in this way directly or passively is absolutely disgusting.

My psychiatrist called the police because they were concerned about my well being. The police showed up at my house and beat me with batons, sprayed me with pepper spray and a high pressure hose while laughing at me and filming me. They were not held accountable in any way and are still walking the streets armed to the teeth and highly dangerous to the tax payers who pay their wages. Did i mention i am elderly and disabled?

I just called the Preston Police Station asking if I could come in to do a breath test. I was at a friend's place within walking distance and had 3 drinks in the last couple hours. The police officer I spoke to was a women she said to me in an arrogant voice "maybe drinking and driving isn't a good idea buddy" followed by hanging up on me. I was polite and said nothing out of line. This is absolutely disgraceful.

I accidentally hung the phone up after submitting a report on my wallet being stolen. I spoke to such a warm, patient and delightful woman officer, Francine, who was so conscientious and so kind and helpful. I’m thankful and appreciative of having a beautiful professional person on the other end of the line. Thank you and never change

How did you go with getting the cctv footage from hungry jacks when my ex smashed up my car and stole my handbag? It was after one of my access visits at Preston DHHS, who said the Wilson security guard would walk me to my car after the visit. He didn't, obviously....

I been contacted at 10pm for harassment . Look at this general knowledge police . I was food poisoned at this . Even in word press mezzaspublicjournal. See. I got proof they work together and group to get me and it's still continue after punishment
