"Totally rude, I just wanted to see if they could add some air to the rear tire because it had no valve cover and could of been a slow leak"

"I have never had an experience at a bike shop like I had today"
Coolest guys. Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Low cost and high quality. Everything a cyclist would want as far as customer service goes. They aren't afraid to recommend other shops in the area if they don't have specific hardware or parts. Great sense of community and customer awareness. To notch shop!
I have taken my bike here for repairs and tune-ups many times over the years and the service is always exemplary. I do not own a vehicle other than my bike and the amazing people working here have never failed to help me in a pinch, even when they are slammed. I definitely recommend The Bike Coop.
Totally rude, I just wanted to see if they could add some air to the rear tire because it had no valve cover and could of been a slow leak....they would not add any air to it, all other bike stores have done this in the past with this same bike.....don't waste your time going here.
Coop is doing some great things in ABQ. I don't personally live there but they've been helpful with me in terms of advice on bikes. I recently supported them in their bikes for kids drive over the Christmas Holiday, giving Stryder bikes out to local families. Great work.
I have never had an experience at a bike shop like I had today. Amanda is not only fantastic, she knows her s___! She took one look at me on my bike and knew right away. Long story short, I am riding pain free for the first time. Thank you to Amanda and the Bike Co-op.
The Bike Coop is, without a doubt, the best bike shop in Albuquerque! The staff are knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and absolutely the best bike mechanics you will find anywhere. I don’t just recommend the Bike Coop; I recommend that you don’t go anywhere else.
Great customer service. I needed a new bike chain and I wasn’t sure the type I needed. Without asking, the lady went outside to look at my bike and knew exactly what I needed. The place has a great variety of things for your bike. I recommend this place.
The best place around UNM Central campus to get your bike tuned up or fixed. Great high-quality service, they're always friendly, quick, and very professional. They also have a great inventory of bikes, and plenty of accessories. Highly recommended!!
We happened to drive by the Bike Coop while in ABQ for an airport run…and stopped because: BIKE SHOP!! I didn’t have any repair needs but enjoyed the vibe of the friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff who answered myriad questions from a
I walked into the shop last year with the hopes of buying a bicycle. Getting into a hobby as an adult can be stressful sometimes because some places can be stuck up to new folks getting into a sport. I did not feel this way at all. Kate was
I would give more stars cause the men who work there are nice and helpful , but the lady with the Grey hair that works there is completely rude and has an attitude of disgust . She refused to sell me a master link because she thinks I don't
I've visited a few times, always for some little part, and got nothing but friendly, competent service. I enjoy reading BC's responses to the negative reviews! One thing I'm wondering and will ask about next Wednesday I'm in ABQ: does Coop
Been there a dozen times over the years, quality products, great service when a product they sell doesn't live up to expectations and awesome service. Just had a new casette, two front chain rings, new derailleur, got rims trued and other
Went in to have Disk brakes added to my bike. The bike was set up to add disk brake!Josh quoted me 3 prices, each time a higher price. His final price was $600.00!! He told me ,Better to buy a new bike. So I selected a bike. He told me he
My initial review was a three I believe. Coop was right next to my house and I always wanted to like it for convenience. The first time I went in was for new a tube(s) and it was installed fine, though took a few days. The next couple of
Amanda and the rest of her staff are the best. I had a custom All City gravel bike built and they helped me work through all the details of finding components (in a pandemic bike part supply shortage) and get them all working together. I
Such a great bike shop! This is the first shop that I trust to service both my old townie commuter bike and full suspension carbon mountain bike. They have a wealth of knowledge and will do the best they can to find the parts I need. The
Been here twice for tune up. What they do they do very well. What they haven’t done each time is actually finish and complete what you asked to be done. Just this week; I knew my chain needed replacing and asked for it to be done. Made
I've been going here almost 10 years off and on and always had a good experience with a variety of people working there. Down to earth and basically just always feel better about my bike after leaving, as well as good with the person I
Just had one of the most bizarre and horrible interactions of my life at this bike shop. I got a dropper post installed and it didn't function properly so I brought it back in. I was then accused of changing out parts as to part of the
This little shop is absolutely the best place to learn about bikes in Albuquerque. Not only do they have a surprising amount of inventory but they are friendly and knowledgeable. I almost never go anywhere else for service, advice, or
Brought in my rear-motor ebike because the rear tire valve was stuck shut. The employee said, “The slime in your tire has gummed up the valve. We’ll have to take the rear wheel off to remove the tire and tube but I don’t see a motor
Above and beyond my expectations. I am a *super* beginner, and just bought a used bike off craigslist. I needed some new pedals, and figured this was a good place to start. After being immediately greeted and shown to the available
Best in town. Great service and I was very happy with my tune-up. Still rolling 8 months later and all I've had to do is oil the chain and keep the tires pumped up. Gonna have a tough time finding a better shop. Update on 7/24/22
(may 2021 update) went here for the 3rd time today, had another great experience, needed a multi-tool and someone helped show me the options, they are always super chill folks in spite of being very busy, I'll be back!
I'm slowly rebuilding an old bike and couldn't get the headset or bottom bracket out. Not only did the shop get it out super quick, they had excellent advice for dealing with a few cosmetic rust spots.
I have been to the shop before. I was very pleased with the staff. Today I showed up at 10:45 to pick up a few things and found they did not open until 11 AM. 11 AM!!
If I could give no stars I would. Terrible owner, very rude, several times I've com in. Coop is a lie. Don't come here, you'll severely regret it.
Unfortunate and unwilling to hear me out. I had a negative experience with this bike shop before due to an employee that
