I was a customer with Allstate Insurance for over 30 years for Auto & House insurance. About 4-5 years ago, I helped my daughter move her Auto & House Insurance policies over to Allstate and she is still with them to date. Approximately 3 years ago, I personally transferred my Auto & House Insurance policies over to Johnson Insurance, due to a substantial premium discount offered through my Employee Union Organization. I am very happy with Johnson Insurance, as their Customer Service is absolutely Top Notch. More than 3 months ago, my daughter had a substantial Water leak at the rear foundation of her house, which resulted in water damage to the Basement area, including the Rugs and Mold Issues. My daughter initiated a claim with Allstate Ins. on August 01, 2019 for the above-mentioned water damage through her House Ins. Policy. She spoke to a Khalid Qadri, a Property Claims Advisor at Allstate Ins., whom indicated to my daughter that the water damage was covered under her home Ins. Policy. Mr. Qadri sent out an Allstate contractor for an estimate to repair the water and mold damage to my daughter's Basement. My daughter also got a Contractor she retained to forward an estimate to Allstate. After not hearing back from Allstate Ins. for well over 1 month, my daughter contacted Allstate Ins. Claims Department by phone. While on the phone with Allstate Ins. Claims Department, she was deliberately cut off /disconnected from the phone conversation several times. My daughter was finally able to speak to someone in the Claims Department, at which time she was informed that her claim had been denied by Allstate Ins. When my daughter asked why she was never notified that her claim had now been denied, when she was initially told by Mr. Qadri that her claim was covered by her Insurance policy, she was then told that they had sent out written notification by mail and she should be receiving it soon. As of today (November 03, 2019), my daughter has NOT received any written notification from Allstate Ins. that her claim had now been denied. More than 1 month ago, I called the Allstate Agent (Anna), whom my daughter had acquired her Allstate policy from (the same Agent that I had dealt with for over 30 years) and informed her of my daughter's terrible experience and extremely poor customer service regarding her Claim with Allstate Ins. I, also informed the Allstate Agent that my daughter had never received the written notification that Allstate claimed they had mailed, informing her that her claim had now been denied, after she was told that it was covered. The Allstate Agent (Anna) indicated that she is not involved in the Claims end of her Insurance policies, as she was only involved in the Sales part of Allstate Ins. However, the Allstate Agent (Anna) said that she would speak to her Allstate Manager about my daughter's terrible and unprofessional experience with Allstate and have the Manager contact my daughter. It has now been well over a month and my daughter has NEVER heard back from anyone at Allstate Insurance, including the Allstate Manager. My daughter could not wait any longer and risk further water damage to her house, so we had a Contractor perform the necessary repairs at her expense. I will be assisting my daughter with moving her Auto & House Insurance Policies to a different Insurance Organization at the renewal date of her Insurance Policies. Allstate Insurance is the WORST Insurance Company with ZERO Customer Service and UNPROFESSIONAL Insurance Service to their Clients. I would NEVER again recommend Allstate Insurance to my Family and Friends, or for that matter not even to my Enemies. I would advice everyone to BEWARE of Allstate Insurance. If there was a Zero Star rating, I would have given that rating to Allstate Insurance.

It is a good place to purchase insurance and they have some really nice agents. I would give 5 stars for the branch but stay away from the agent Deepti Bhatia !!!!!! She is very unprofessional, rude and ignorant. After she received the direct deposit form from me, she never bothered… - Sending temporary proof of insurance - Did not reply to me even after I told her my temporary pink slip will expire in 10 days, and I cannot drive after that without a proper pink slip (Even told me they never mail the pink slip) - Both these documents were supposed to be sent by Deepti. She did not respond to my calls, texts, and emails after she secured the commission for my policy. Contact - Nicole Prokop, sent me my pink slip in 5 minutes talking to her& Shen-Hsiang Frank Hsu – Helped me with temporary proof of insurance in 5 minutes. They are fast, efficient, respects your time and will provide the best insurance service. I highly recommend them for your insurance needs.

We've used Allstate for 20 years, and parents generation for even longer. They have always been responsive, until we filed our first claim. Submitting a no-fault accident has been a nightmare. Took 3 phone calls to even get the claim submitted properly. It's now been almost 4 weeks since a claim was filed and we have not had contact with an adjustor. Calling every week does nothing. Asking managers to escalate and promise action comes with renewed promises, but still no contact or resolution. Insurance is something you want to have, but never use. However when you need to use it, you expect prompt and responsive service, which this has not been. Will be escalating at renewal time to see if we should keep all our policies or if this is the new norm for them.

We have been with Allstate for years along with many family members and received fantastic service from a former agent. however recently they refused to renew my auto insurance due to two minor speeding tickets (10km over). After cancelling our insurance they sent us a bill in the mail due to an error in their bill processing over the last year and let us know we had 30 days to pay this large amount or they were sending us to collections. Upon contacting the manager for support we were not even offered an apology never mind a resolution. And the decency to provide a call back rather than an email was also absent. If you are a current customer I suggest getting out now.

I highly recommend Brandi for any of your insurance needs! Ps. She is the most friendly, kind person I have ever met. She went that extra mile to make sure we were happy. I have never ever had such a positive experience with an insurance agent in my life. I went to work the next day and told everyone they have to meet this wonderful young lady. Hate writing these. All they care about is money and trust me they will do everything to get theirs. My wife has been with allstate for 20 years. So I switched everything over to them. Big mistake. Nothing but problems. Now during covid when you need help the most they try to gouge. Sad. Most companies are trying to help through these times. Brandi was the only person to actually help us.

i hate this company. impossible to reach anyone, most of the time its at a call centre, i sold a house 4 months ago which they've been billing me for since then, and the icing on the cake was being charged $50 nsf per policy because the costco card i was using switched over to cibc. going to use a local broker, someone i can actually reach when i need something

Allstate insurance was good at first but I feel that Rehan Nisar is not very helpful . Try to ask about any discounts and just says no . Does not even try to look to see if there is anything more he can do . He just dismisses anything you say.

Worst insurance companies they do not respond to calls and emails no call back when you leave voice mail. They like to skim customers for NSF $50 fee too for no valid reasons. Stay away from Allstate
