I sent an email to Wayne concerned about an amount that was put against my income. I never received the money but a T5 was file by his company to CRA that I had to pay tax on. Instead of him being understanding and saying he will have someone look into it on his team. He dismissed me and would not help me. It’s very unfortunate that someone like him who has made so much money has no empathy left for things that his company did. I hope people look into this company before trusting him with your funds. He won’t stand behind any issue that arise. I just wanted help which I did not receive. To your response… First of all… I was a client of yours when you sent me a T5 for last year tax year to me for a life insurance policy I had with you. Do you make it a habit to send T5’s to random people? No, they would have to have a policy with you. The policy was in my name for almost 30 years until a few months ago. Why would I speak to my ex husband? He didn’t send the T5 to a wrong address nor make me claim it as income that I never received. You did. All you had to do Wayne is … say we will look into it and get back to you. You dismissed me and even acknowledge that you told me to talk to my ex-husband instead of helping me who owned the policy. You really need to know your facts before you respond publicly to a person and try to make them out to be the one in the wrong.

Wayne and his team have always been incredibly professional with me and have always looked after me over the last 10+ years I have been with them. I did leave to go with the Co-Operators back in Oct 2015 because they offered cheaper rates. I remember Wayne telling me at the time that he wished me well and was sorry to see us go and reminded me that "value" isn't always equal to discounts and that his team offered "peace of mind" and that this, in his eyes, was priceless. After a HORRIBLE experience with the Co-Operators (they were misleading, unprofessional and extremely rude to deal with), I decided to return to Wayne and his team (I have to say I had missed their constant attention and thoughtfulness - Wayne, even after I had left his business, continued to send me cards and letters underlining certain milestones in my life. He was always thoughtful that way). I must say that returning to Wayne and his team was ABSOLUTELY the best decision I have made in a while. I feel like I have come back home again. I definitely recommend Wayne and State Farm for ALL of your personal and business insurance needs.

I am a director and the treasurer of a 2-year old condominium corporation. We have just changed our general comprehensive insurance policy to Desjardins using the Wayne Nichols agency. I had the pleasure (no seriously - a distinguished pleasure) of dealing with Blake Treleaven and Theresa Cale. Each of these professionals provided the most exemplary knowledge and responsiveness of any arm's-length party I have ever dealt with in the insurance business. It would sometimes take 3 weeks to get a response, if at all, from our previous broker. But with Theresa and Blake, response times have consistently been under an hour - that's correct! Further, they answered all my questions and did a full comparison of their proposed policy to the previous one, identifying their enhancements, which were several. And, they reduced our annual cost by 9% at a time when rates all around us seem to be going up. So ... better coverage, at a lower price, with exemplary service! What's not to like! I have been a client for more than 10 years with this company. I moved my parents and in-laws to him as well. Never had a single claim. My dad had his windshield cracked by a stone. Took the car to get fixed at BMW and when it came time to reimburse, was told BMW charged too much and they would only cover half the expenses. That's after his own agent stated that the vehicle can be repaired anywhere we please. As far as I am concerned, that is unacceptable especially to a long time customer. Well Mr Nichols, I assure that you have lost my business and that of my extended family for a mere $750. Shame on you and your company.

We have used this office for our business and personal insurance for a number of years now in an effort to stay local. The service has gone down hill and long time staff members we used to deal with have left. We now get zero communication unless we ask for information. Not sure what is going on but we are looking to move our business to a different agent.
